I'm a huge fan of 28 gauge now. It's cool to hear more interest in that realm. I hunt upland birds, doves and shoot sporting clays with 28 gauge now and it's great fun.
Thanks for taking us to the Shot Show. So much to see there you did a great job of picking out the highlights and passing them along. What an awesome dad always on the lookout for a new shotgun for your son👍 Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Terry.
Will be interested in your review of the Browning A5 20 gauge. The Remington 11, which was a Browning licensed A5 copy, came out with a 20 gauge back in 1930. Will be interesting to see how the two compare.
Though all inertia operated, the Auto-5, Model 11, and the Franchi AL-48 all shared Browning’s long-recoil action design (feature necessary reciprocating barrel & humpback receiver). The new A5 (as opposed to Auto-5) models use an inertia spring, the same Bruno Civolani invented system that made Benelli what it is. Though they’re both inertia guns, the only real similarity the Auto-5 (Model 11) and the A5 share are aesthetics. The humpback in the A5 is a superficial and nostalgic design feature. Personally, I love it! To your point, it would be awesome to see Steve compare the two systems. Preferably an Auto-5 vs an A5, but any Auto-5 variant vs a contemporary inertia gun will do.
I just wanted to say thanks for all your great videos. I recently sold my Beretta 686 Essential and bought a Beretta A300 Ultima sporting. The 686 just kicked too hard [ shoulder surgery]. After watching your videos, I decided on the A300. I love this gun! Fit is great, low recoil. 3 rounds yesterday breaking targets and I felt great. Many thanks!
Was literally just singing its praises in the comments. It’s completely outclassed the Retay brand, and for half the price. They have some weird finishing options, but they haven’t ignored the common/traditional either. Seconded.
@TargetFocusedLife awsome Matt told me they just got another shipment overhere to the states. If your looking for head to heads perhaps skb 90tss and mossberg reserve gold super sport ( runner up the tristar tt15 dt) due to specs and values of each. One of these will likely be this Springs new purchase
Most liked gas operated semiauto in Türkiye, Armsan Phenoma...Second semiauto may be Ata Venza. They are friendly marks and I think so all barrel made by Ata (For Armsan too.)
not on topic - what would you recommend from FalconStrike - screw on or slip on pad ? Thanaks - trully enjoy your presentation and starting hunting at age of 74 is quite an adventure.
I just subscribed to make up for anyone you lost. Love your channel. Stay true to yourself. Those who leave will find their own way to a platform that fits their mentality. No need to pander. Move forward boldly.
Love it 👍🏻😍❤️! Cant wait for the reviews. Would love to see a review on the New Benelli Montefeltro Ultra Light, Dickenson SXS’s, and if you can, Fabarm Autumn 20ga SxS as well please. Thanks.
Would definitely like a review of the Benelli Montefeltro Silver Featherweight. Just looking for an upland gun for chukkar. Anyways thanks for the great videos
I like a good cz. But i have the pistols for competition and scorpion evo for pcc but every time i check out the 1012 or an over under the shotguns just don’t fit me at all. Most of the over unders are red heads or the standard ones. I always wanted to see how the sporting feels but have never seen one in person to give it a try. I got two browning over unders and beretta a400 sportings for semi automatic. I always wanted an a5. One of my squad mates in nsca sporting clays runs one and he wins just about every tournament with it
Hey TFL I was wondering if you ever heard of or handled an Otus smx-12, I had a chance to see them at the great American outdoors show and was wondering if you ever heard of them?
I know you focus on more gun reviews, but I’ve been looking at some new stocks for my shotgun and would like to see you review the Woox stocks to see how they are for field and sporting
Interested in a review on the gforce arms 2. A newer company that has come in strong with a lifetime warranty. Becoming pretty popular in the waterfowl industry.
So would I, I have an opinion, but a gun channel should stay away from politics and things like this. Just focus on testing and reviewing sporting shotguns.
I like the PSA modular concept shotgun. But the big news to me is the Benelli "advanced impact barrel system". THAT will be a "game changer ". Pun intended. I already contacted Mossberg about getting the new big safety for my 940 pro wf, but they said none were available as an accessory. Please advise.
I would like to see a review of the new Beretta, the KO recoil reduction in an O/U is interesting. Also the adjustable stock in an O/U is appealing. These 2 features have me more interested in the gun than the light weight. Thanks
Can you possibly do a review on the Gforce Arms Gforce one and 2 inertia driven shotgun. Been looking at them a lot just have not seen a lot of information on them would love to see them make an appearance on the channel
Great video. I enjoy your channel a lot. I am looking for a new semi auto. I was also wondering if you have ever made a video or would be willing to make a video on “aim vs pointing”. I am a former Marine and I feel like the marksmanship training I received in the Marine Corps hurts my success on the trap range and in the field when hunting birds. I can hit a bullseye at 500 yds using iron sights with an AR-15 but can only hit 5 out of 25 clays on a good day 😂. The issue I have is when I draw a weapon to my shoulder I naturally want to focus on the bead and let the target become hazy. Those are rifle fundamentals and they aren’t working in the world of shotguns. I go to the trap range a lot but just really don’t know how to train my brain to let go of rifle fundamentals and instill good shotgun technique. I was wondering if you have any drills I could try out. Also, please ignore the photo and username. My daughter uses my account so I can monitor her you tube usage. Thanks in advance!
I have been told Dickinson and SKB are made in the same factory. I have an SKB 200 which is basically exactly the same as Estate sxs. These are the entry level, BUT the wood, the finish its second to none, the weight, the balance, blow CZ out of the water.
Sorry, I didn't understand your comment about the Browning A-5 soon becoming available in 20 ga. I inherited my father's A-5 20 ga built in 1959 that he got for his 21st birthday. I've shot it a couple of times at practice Trap.
Anyone considering Retay after their significant price bump should reconsider. If you’re spending ≈$800 for a Gordion, you’re better off w/ a Franchi Affinity. And for over $1k the Masai Mara, you’re better off w/ a Benelli M2. Always choose Italy over Turkey for an inertia gun. And if you’re looking for a solid budget Turkish gun like Retay used to represent, it’s hard to beat the value of the Impala Plus inertia guns at ≈$500.
I was frankly disappointed that Steve acted as a fan boy. As a former Canadian police officer I can assure you that Rittenhouse would not have been sitting at SHOT show signing autographs if the incident had happened up here. He would be sitting in prison serving time for two counts of manslaughter plus numerous other charges. Kyle Rittenhouse exemplifies everything wrong with American gun culture. Writing as a lifetime conservative, dog trainer, field trialer, and bird hunter.
If what i have been reading is correct, kyle crossed state lines to cause shit. Thats all i see for evidence. He is not law enforcement or a first responder. He did not belong there. He is a psychopath who intended on murdering someone if the chance came. And it did. I am sorry for the loss of life involved in this incident. This man is a criminal.
I dont understand how benelli thinks the lengthened forcing cone is adding to the velocity… lengthening it reduces the sharp angle of the transition which reduces the pressure build up giving you the speed. Not to mention the other issues benelli has had but they just say that’s how the gun operates. “Cough” barrels shooting high left! “Cough”
I purchased new for 2024 two new shotguns. A Winchester SX4 Upland in 3in 20 gauge 3 choke, this shotgun is made in the Browning factory in Portugal. Also I picked up Mossberg Black Label 20 gauge, OU in Turkish walnut with 3 choke system. So how did I do , these are hunting shotguns and not top dogs in the rack but should be effective.
I looked on BenelliUSA, they have the Ultralight listed as a Montefeltro now, still 24" barrel in 20g. I would love to see a review and am looking forward to getting my hands around one too.
If you get your hand on a Armsan or akkar you will be impressed for sure. They are Turkish guns, but I can say that the are up there with benelli and beretta
Still no 20ga Beretta 694….. They are missing out big time holding out to release that. Browning’s 725 is not near the gun of a 694, but they have a 20ga sporting available.
The word "tactical" defines planning and movements. It means applying tactics to complete a mission. The term has zero to do with equipment, clothing or firearms.
My verdict is still out on rittenhouse. I think he was a naive kid in a situation he shouldn’t have been involved in. It’s good he’s not spending his life in jail, that book would be good to start fires with if SHTF. Nice review, keep up the good work!
Thanks for covering the gun show and sharing it with us. Thanks for daring to be nice to Kyle. Kyle and others were all victims of horrible government leadership. Please keep introducing us to different guns and ammo.
I’m glad I went back to watch the first 30 seconds again to see your interaction with him wasn’t entirely genuine. I’m not sure why anyone is supporting him-especially enough to afford a booth and free books-but those who support him deserve to be separated from their money. He’s grifting to the max.
We haven’t seen you review many SXS except for that CZ sharptail.
I'm a huge fan of 28 gauge now. It's cool to hear more interest in that realm. I hunt upland birds, doves and shoot sporting clays with 28 gauge now and it's great fun.
Armsan Cre28 , price/performance leader.
Congratulations on 100k! This is the best shotgun review channel in my opinion!
Thanks for taking us to the Shot Show. So much to see there you did a great job of picking out the highlights and passing them along. What an awesome dad always on the lookout for a new shotgun for your son👍 Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Terry.
Looking forward to the Browning 20 gauge review. I’ve always wanted a humpback but prefer 20 gauge
Lol you cleared all the fudds out pretty quick , good job love the channel.

Yeah me too. But this video was a lot of yapping and no show.🫤
I’ll be waiting patiently for the Tri-star TT-15 review. Love mine and I’m very happy with it
Been asking for that review and the W&S pro comp
I have one. I'd like to see that review.
Just spoke with W&S yesterday, sounds like the will be sending a pro comp for review. I reached out the Tristar, will see if they will send a TT-15
@TargetFocusedLife awsome Matt told me they just got another shipment overhere to the states.

Would you do a review on the Panzer M2 Clone and compare it to a Benelli M2?
Also the garisan mc312
A review of the tristar matrix, I think would be a great review. Either the 12 or 20 in any finish, just my opinion. Thanks
Please review the 20 ga A5

No personal opinion on the Rittenhouse case. Your channel is awesome, and personally I would have distanced my channel from that whole debacle.
So would I, I have an opinion, but a gun channel should stay away from politics and things like this. Just focus on testing and reviewing sporting shotguns.
I already called Reeds to put my order in for the A5 20Ga. Please review it soon.

Is the new OD green Beretta a400 xtreme plus available in the USA? I cant find one anywhere.
That is a great question. I assume it would be available in the USA but it may not be on store shelves yet.
@TargetFocusedLife man I sure hope it will become available here in the states. Thanks for the reply take care!!!
Can you possibly do a review on the Gforce Arms Gforce one and 2 inertia driven shotgun. Been looking at them a lot just have not seen a lot of information on them would love to see them make an appearance on the channel
I thought there might be more in 28 gauge this year at SHOT, seeing how SAAMI recognized the 3" chambering summer of '23... Maybe next year.
Need to do a review on the G force 12 gauge waterfall heard it was the best out there for the money
Interested to understand why Benelli Sport AI went from a one screw extended bolt release to the now 2 screw version? Problem in the field??
I really want a review of the CZ supreme field. Looking for a over under that is all purpose, sporting clays and wing shooting(doves, pheasants)!!!

I dunno. I got the sense that Steve wasn’t super impressed by Kyle as opposed to supporting him.
