  • If nobody takes the time to observe then we cannot say we are scientist since science is based on observation.
Teach yourself how to see - even if you just youtube some perspective and anatomy videos about how the eyes work and how perspective plays a roll in our reality.
If you dont know the physics of the spherical earth and moon - then why do you accept it at face value?

You don't see a zigzag line if you manoeuvre your eyes into the plane made by the triangle between light source and guard railing. You'll see a straight line shadow - just like the railing - run across the stairs. - And that's how we observe shadows on the Moon when we are precisely between the Sun and the Moon.

Hi. I am also a visual artist and I studied all those things about shading and perspective too. I take on board what you say about the diffusion of the shadow in the eclipse and the apparent lack of a highlight; However I think you are wrong to neglect the very obvious fact that the shading and perspective of the craters in lunar photography DO absolutely follow the rules of circular indentations distributed on the surface of a sphere. the shading inside each crater shows exactly that it lit just as a shallow circular hole would be with the shaded inside edge and the lit inside edge corresponding to exactly what would be expected from such a form under a directed light source. Moreover the craters on the far edges of the moon are following the exact rules of perspective and becoming more foreshortened, so to appear as increasingly more elipsoid or leaf-shaped. If you do not take this into consideration as an artist, then you are doing a great disservice to the rest of the community who as non-artists, may not have noticed this.
At a stretch you may get these effects from a half-sphere or a concave bowl-shape. But any artist's first choice would be sphere, IMO
But yeah, your eclipse claims about the sharpness/diffuseness of the shadows etc. I found very useful. I was thinking the same that the earth's shadow would be too diffused because of the given claimed distance from the moon. This doesn't make sense in the model.

    • @mastapeace593
      @mastapeace593  6 лет назад +1

hey its all love over here so no need to accuse of anyone doing a disservice to anyone else.. in this video im saying its not a globular rock in space at 230,000 miles up.. but im not saying what it IS or what its nature is!.. i appreciate the fact youre an artist thats great. And yes i have considered the craters shadows, and theres edges that are bright and have highlights when it seems like it should be already under the curve. like when its fading to blue, and you see a random blip of white pop out, but if its fading that means its gradually curving out of the light.. and at some angles it seems impossible to have a crater be 'so tall' to still catch the light yet the contour of the moon "smoother than a bowling ball"..also you can paint ovals on circles, meaning you can paint something to look receding when its not. Now ... since the shadow of the eclipse, as you agree with the factors ive laid out, describe something other than a spheroid, then we have to admit, we have no clue what it is now.. and because if that we must remain open to all possibilities... it is truly divine and was always regarded as a mystery. even the heliocentrics dont agree, some say it was formed from impact - others it was moved here by space people... now.. IF IT IS A SPHERE... then what is blocking it out is NOT a shadow, but another heavenly body.. Of which I will never hesitate to be corrected! but both possibilities can be true as the ancients referred to and called these luminaries disks and sculpted them as such, and also they refer to Rahu and Ketu, which are invisible bodies that are up there as well.. EITHER Way, we have been lied to... if im right or wrong, i dont care i just want the truth..
so either way this shows we have been lied to somewhere... either about the earth's shape, or the body '{ eclipse shadow'} that crosses path with it..
The best bet is to say I now know that I know very little.
Much Love and thanks for your kander - challenge is the best way to evolve! and i just did because of your message
      much love and peace!!

Masta Peace, I was going to ask about your opinion on the craters, but since noonesflower asked about them first, so I'll ask about your opinion on something else.
Are you familiar with the *libration* of the moon, where over time you can capture the oscillation of the Moon and see more of the Moon's surface (up to 59% over time), implying it is a sphere?
If you do a Google or RUclips search on *libration* , you can find time lapse photos of it, and it does appear to be spherical.
What is your take on lunar libration with respect to your analysis thinking the Moon is not a sphere?

I'll try to post a link here so you can see what I'm talking about, though RUclips is very aggressive with its spam filters. This is from photographer Laurent Laveder, who photographed the moon for 2 years and combined his photos into an animated gif:

@@mastapeace593 At the moment, I am too tired to watch your video attentively. However, I will say that your artistry is very impressive. If I had the income, I would certainly want your work in my home. As to your claim that "heliocentrics dont agree, some say it was formed from impact...", this is simply false. The impact-co-accretion model is the one most supported by the collected evidence. There are three other hypotheses as to the Moon's formation, and these are capture, co-accretion, and fission. All of these fail to explain the available data as well as impact-co-accretion. I can assure you there are no peer-reviewed articles claiming the Moon was put into Earth's orbit by "space people". While I am going to listen to your evidence when I am more awake, I am just going to assume now you do not believe humanity has gone into space, let alone circumnavigated the Moon.

You hit the nail on the head and I am so glad you mentioned the bit about how art itself isn't revered by the whole as a career path; diminished as a hippy profession. When in turn, being an artist should or would bring you indubitably closer to your CREATOR - art is used in EVERYTHING even in the visualization of letters a.k.a symbols. Cursive (which they have taken out of some if not most schools) is/ was that form engaging that right brain for it was a 'style' of writing. I can go on and on, but you have made the common sense points and it is something most are missing. Be blessed and continue your works.

Whoa! Wait! How about the distances? I'm sure it was pointed out somewhere in the comments, but the proportions of distances are quite wrong. Ok, I know, that it is hard to catch the exact distances, but at least move the light source a few meters away. The other thing is your explanation of how a shadow casted on a ball would look like. As far as it's a good idea, you have chosen the sizes of model spheres poorly. Try swaping them - the shadow might look slightly different. What also bothers me is the Earth's light reflection visible on the moon. I am not completly sure there would be one because of the atmosphere color filtering - during a day it's blue, so if the moon is visible and reflects the light from the Earth, the reflected light mixes with the natural blue of the atmosphere leaving only the white, illuminated parts of the moon. Now talking about light... Yes, I have to agree - the moon can't change the colour of the sun light. Atmospfere does. The differences between light's temperatures come from the ammount of energy (in form of light) coming down to the surface. There is one more thing I can't wrap my head around when thinking about moon as a disc - why, in the name of God, does it wobble? To see what I mean, look for annual pictures of the moon. Finally, I must admit - THE MOON IS NOT A SPHERE, as a sphere is empty inside. It's a gigant ball.

    • @martinda7446
      @martinda7446 5 лет назад +1

The moons surface will absorb certain wavelengths of light. It will change the colour we perceive. The same way printers work. It is a subtractive process. Think of the regolith like a printer ink laid down. That ink will absorb a range of wavelengths and reflect only those that make up it's colour. I think the moon reflects 8% but it is mainly a whiteish light, I don't know the intricacies.
A sphere is not always hollow, there certainly can be a solid sphere.

More importantly, in his model, the flat earth and flat moon are perpendicular to each other, which means every person on earth, would have to look directly straight up to see the lunar eclipse, as it would be at a 90° angle from the surface of the flat earth and this, of course simply does not happen

  • @GeocentricKingdom
    @GeocentricKingdom 6 лет назад

First saw your video on Dorje's channel. Nice job! The only piece I contend is the end bit about the moon's reflections. Since the surface of a would-be globular moon is not a mirror, it would largely reflect back the sun's light to the earth. Like this paper on my desk. I can see it from all angles because light bounces off it at all angles. Even if I had a spherical piece of paper, the same would apply. But only near the edges would the reflected light really begin to diminish. But the other 3 factors I really enjoyed.

The first point of the video about conformation factor is easy to dismiss :
At 8:35, the author of the video says "if a shadow moves along something rigid like stairs, it will take the stair shape, revealing the level differential from step to step."
If you do a google search for "shadows on stairs", you will get several results of people taking their own shadow on stairs, and their shadow is not deformed much, and looks exactly like the object casting the shadow. How is that possible ?
Before getting into shadows, I would like to point out that this is exactly the same principle as the 3D painted room illusions. When you are in the correct alignment, the paintings on the walls will create a very specific shape that looks like it's painted on a 2D flat surface. When you move out of alignment, you start to see that the paintings are actually on different levels and different distances away.
The reason is simple : the *apparent* shape of the shadow on an object depends on the position of the observer. If the observer is exactly in the axis of the object casting the shadow, then for him the shadow will look like the object. This is simple geometry and you can see this when you look at your own shadow. For another observer, the same shadow will appear differently, as in your video.
But when we look at a lunar eclipse, we are on the object casting the shadow, so we are always in the correct alignement to see the the shadow as perfectly circular. Even if the actual physical shadow on the Moon is not circular and conforms to the shape of the Moon.
I hope that was clear enough.

Dang. Great video. Question: would this also not suggest that earth may not be a sphere? I mention because of the eclipse moon shadow cast upon the earth. Wouldn’t that also have to be “scewed or distorted” if the earth were a sphere? Just asking. Also, curious as to why we see let’s say a 75% Moon during daylight & we see the blue sky taking up the part of moon we can’t supposedly see. Shouldn’t we be able to see the “solid darkened outline” of the part of the moon in the sky that is supposedly “in shadow?” Perhaps my perceptions are incorrect. Thanks for video & narrated dissertation. Right on!

The great illusion: camera should be always behind the source of shadow(to mimic the alleged reality). In your case we see the whole scenario from a different perspective(random camera position).
    Therefore your conclusion about:
    1.- Conformation Factor
    3.- "S"(Sine Wave)Factor... is incorrect.
+ In your example the scale of moon vs earth is "slightly" off. With much larger earth the "Sine Wave" is even more less likely, maybe even from a third party perspective(camera position), what by the way NO human ever have a chance to experience(e.g. earths shadow on the moon watched from mars).
    2.-The Shadow Diffusion Factor.
Here the problem is very similar: OUT OF SCALE distance between casted shadow vs. shadow-caster.
Lets call the resting position of the chopstick on the pot "Zero"(0)elevation, and the shadow on the side edge "Half Diameter"(1737km). In your representation the elevation difference is the observable absolute maximum = 100%. If what they say is true(?)... the diameter of the Moon fits in between us cca 109 times. Here we talking about difference between 109 and 109,5 and this is very close to the observable differential minimum! The comparison in this case is very misleading... No human eye is capable to notice the difference of shadow diffusion on such a small distance differencial scale.
4.-The Reflected Light Factor... Yes! ...and this is the big problem of helicentrism. Peace and love

The approach you took to give a background on your perspective of the information/world through observation, was amazing to listen to. I'm not a great artist, but it is a skill. You nailed the part on being indoctrinated or distracted from the questions I had as child. I was reading maps and using my artistic skills to create them at a very young age. It was and is an obsession that was the backdrop on my ability to question things and see things through looking through many perspectives. Combining both hemispheres is the way to not just see this truth, but to share it more effectively. Again, well done.

If a sphere throws a shadow, the shadow (penumbra) is a cone or a cylinder. If a cone or a cylinder meets a sphere, the intersection of these two surfaces is a higher (4th) order curve. This means that your idea that the terminator of Earth's shadow on the Moon is not a circle is mathematically correct. You could see such a curve if you take a core cutter (e.g., for removing apple cores) and drill right through a small apple. You could drill right through, resulting in two curves on the surface, or you could drill while partially bypassing the apple-sphere resulting in a weird Zorro-mask-ish outline wrapped around part of the apple-sphere.
But - and here's the rub for you - we have to look at all of these curves from a position that's right on (or very close to) the axis of that cone or cylinder. And (please try it with anything conish or tubular) when you look along the axis through a cone or cylinder, you'll never see anything else except - a circle. Even if you take a completely (!) arbitrary curve on the cone or cylinder and look at it along the axis, you'll never, never see anything except a circle or an arc, part of a circle.
This isn't any advanced "science", just simple geometry as it is known for ages. I find it telling that you have to clutch at such false straws to make FE afloat - but you don't have anything else.

Wow!!! This is an amazing eye-opener!!! "Now that your eyes are opened..." "...go outside and look..." There is no doubt then - Masta Peace has never had the privilege of viewing the moon with his own eyes through a pair of binoculars. God gave us two eyes so that we can see 3D, so that we can see depth, so that we can see when a part of an object is closer to us than another part. I did as Masta Peace suggested - I went outside and watched the moon - through a pair of binoculars - during the eclipse. My God-given stereo vision plainly revealed to me that the moon is 100% spherical - a big ball shape.
Even without binoculars, several videos on RUclips showing the moon through a P900 camera reveals the spherical shape of the moon without any doubt. Check out D. Marble’s “Flat Earth: First Zoom in on the Moon with my P900.” And this one: “Moon edge glitch -Flat Earth - Nikon coolpix P900”. It is as plain as day that the shape of craters on the surface of the moon change as they tilt away around the blatantly obvious curved surface.
It is very hard to believe that such an intelligent man as Masta Peace could misinterpret so much with all his experiments. Do them all again with the same distance ratios as has been measured between earth and the sun and moon, and you’ll find the experiments reveal what your eyes could through a pair of binoculars. Please do it as a service to all mankind, and our Almighty Creator God, whose awesome creative power is not limited to Satan’s delusional flat earth under a dome, Satan’s prison for his gullible followers.

I had to post this video on reddit.com/r/IamVerySmart (which is a subreddit about people comically showing how "smart" they are), because the Masta's "evidence" is so comically bad.
First, while a shadow does conform to the shape of the surface it's being projected onto, the only way to view any distortion is from a different angle than the source of the shadow. Even that crooked rail on stairs shadow would appear perfectly straight for the perspective of the rail. Since we are the source of the shadow during an eclipse, no distortion would be visible.
Second, the difference in diffusion of light between the closest point to us on the moon and the furthest, would be almost indistinguishable. If my hand is casting a shadow on a ball 100 ft away, will the diffusion at the edge of the ball be grater than in the center? No.
Sine wave? Only when viewed from a different angle, not from the perspective of the shadow cause.
Why can't you see a "new moon"? Because it is positioned between us and the sun, meaning it is out/up/risen in the daytime, and not visible for the same reasons that stars are not visible during the day.
C'mon man. Only people who can't think critically and don't know how reality works would fall for this nonsense.

Very insightful. I think you should write a book about this stuff. Try to write an academic book so that it spreads to universities and companies that produce airplanes and ships. Imagine how much more efficient transportation we would have on Earth if people only understood this and build machines accordingly. We need people like you to educate those mathematicians, physicists and engineers. They are obviously failing immensely if they still think the Earth is a globe, and so all the technology they create is failing us all right now and could be improved so much with these insights!

I commend you for your efforts although I suspect they were inspired by untrustworthy motives. The biggest mistake you made in your video presentation besides scale, angle, perspective, and of course, twisting your items to manipulate the shadow in your favour was that if the Earth was flat and the moon was flat in order to cast the shadow we see in every lunar eclipse (and the one you demonstrated in this video) the Earth and Moon would have to be perpendicular to each other! If the two flat objects were perpendicular to each other, then you would have to look straight up at the moment of the eclipse, as it would be at a 90° angle from the surface of the flat earth, and every person on earth would see the eclipse at the exact same time and in virtually the exact same manner not to mention it would become dark as night at the moment of the eclipse, and none of this happens which is simply because your entire premise was incorrect and void of scientific method.
The lunar eclipse proves the planet is a sphere like every other in our solar system.
Water rotating in the opposite directions in the northern and southern hemisphere prove we are on a rotating sphere and this has been reproduce thousands of times.
Millions of amateur photographers regularly recorded star formations rotating in the opposite direction in the northern and southern hemisphere, which again proves we are rotating.
You’ve also partially confused, the rare penumbra eclipse.
Nice try though I’ll give you that much

To address one of the points made in the video: Yes, earthshine is a phenomenon we can all easily observe before and after a new moon phase. However, you claimed that we should see a dim object passing through the sky during the new moon phase. Well, here's why we don't: The sun. The entire reason the new moon is a new moon is because it's closer to in between the Earth and the sun, which will dictate that it's pretty much only present during daylight hours.
What's confusing to me is why you expect to see an object that's not much brighter than the stars - if at all - during the DAYTIME. I've taken pictures of earthshine, and the camera is (roughly) exposed for the stars while exposed properly for earthshine. So if you can't see the stars during the day, or even brighter objects like Venus, you shouldn't expect to see the Moon in the new Moon phase.
Also. A lot of your claims in this video were based off the fact that the Moon "looks" flat during, say, a lunar eclipse. Why, then, does the appearance of shadows, craters, moon phases, etc. indicate the complete opposite? You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Thanks so much for sharing, I totally agree, I've been artistic my whole life but have been held back by location, education, etc...
I've always questioned how could space be possible, why the moon is transparent at times and/or out in the daylight (reflecting the "dome, atmosphere, ? " maybe, but then it'll click on as soon as the sun goes down, questioned the perspective of everything, water, etc... I have even "crazier" theories than a flat disk, that's just psh..
I've dreamt, yeah, dreamt, It's sort like a building, has layers or stories, if you want, & we're on the roof "As above so below.." ya know.
It could be like a solid earth pillar & we're on top under a bowl..
I've said and it's been said

This is a massive blunder - or a lie. "Earthshine" is the technical term, and you can observe it if the Moon is a narrow crescent and light pollution isn't too bad. There are many photos (made by amateurs) around, showing just that.

    Good day :)
I saw your video on another channel and I liked it then from description under it I found your channel. Straight to this video to press the like button.
I am sure the globe model we were thought is wrong and LIE.
I bought a NikonP900 to observe what I heard 2 years ago about flat earth myself. I found no curvature on a 7km water and I need to repeat it then I will upload it to my channel.
About the Moon not being a sphere I had problem. I could not find this logic you explained in your video in any of 10 thousands of FE videos I watched.
I will try the shadow experiments you showed and I watch the Moon with my NikonP900 with new eyes.
When I find a new channel and I like a video of it very much, I usually first look at the thumbnails of it's videos to get a grasp. Then watch another video. Next will be subscribing and going to first video on the channel and start a journey with it. I sometimes leave it as I feel wrong messages being passed.
So i watched your video in which you answer why Vegans are not killing plants. I liked and subscribed.
I start the journey now and I will leave a comment anywhere I visit.
    Thanks for the education!
    Peace

The leaves change because it’s temporarily dying - if you don’t water your plants or give them sun they too will turn autumn colours and fall.. when there’s less heat - there’s more overcast and snow.. so it’s simply the sun moving wider and lower, tighter and closer, like a spiralling carousel up and down round and round. :)

Heliocentric States earth is closest to the sun in North American winters and furthest from the sun in their summer - which makes no sense even if we’re tilted and we know we aren’t because the hottest regions are on the equator and not offset 21- 23 degrees

Here's an observation you can do:
View the moon with a telescope or binoculars when it is about half way between full and new. You'll be able to clearly see the shape of it with your own eyes.
If what you are seeing is confusing you, you can reproduce a similar effect by being in a dark room and illuminating a ball from the side with a single lightsource.
As for the shape of the shadow during an eclipse, this should give you an idea of why perspective matters so much and how we always see an eclipse from the origin of the shadow: ruclips.net/video/kP0WC9Wr3gI/видео.html

I see your argument about the Sine wave or "S" Factor as you observe round every day object around you. However, what we forgot to calculate is where the observer is in such phenomena. With the object you demonstrate, you are NOT on earth. You are far away from earth. If you put your camera inside the shadow of the round "earth" object (i.e. on earth like we are seeing the moon from earth), you will not see such distortion. Lunar eclipse only happens on full moon which mean the sun is directly behind earth. Thus you have to put the observer (your camera) in the shadow of the round object you use as the shadow. I can bet you you will not see the distortion.

Science is indeed based on observation. But, in a way, it is also based on lack of observation. If the moon were not a sphere, but a disk, we would observe it to be elliptical at times, would we not? The lack of this observation makes it quite clear that the moon is not a flat disk.
-With your conformation factor example of spheres casting shadows on other spheres, what you produced looks very similar to what the shadow on the moon looks like. You are also filming your example of Sphere A casting a shadow on Sphere B, while the camera is off to the side. We observe the moon from earth, not from out in space. Therefore, your camera should be placed between the two spheres, or attached to Sphere A (the one casting the shadow). Of course it will look a little different when you observe from a totally different angle.
-With your examples of shadow diffusion, you have the object, which is casting the shadow, touching the object, which the shadow is being cast upon. This works at very close distances, but the moon - assuming mainstream science is correct - has an average distance of over 238,000 miles. You can't expect any shadow to be sharp at that distance. Then it is less than 1000 miles additional distance to the farthest visible parts of the moon. that is less than 0.5% difference. How much of a difference in diffusion do you expect to see there?
I'm not trying to piss on your parade, and perhaps I'm mistaken, but I just don't see how your argument proves anything. You are forgetting the crazy, almost unimaginable, distances involved in our world and universe. And, as an artist, you should know that different viewing angles make a difference.

Ean Carris - excellent points. I was thinking of similar lines, but you've put it more eloquently. I tried to point out to Masta Peace about lunar libration, where the Moon oscillates a bit in it's orbit around the Earth giving us perspective views that show us to see up to 59% of the Moon's surface over time. If you've ever seen a time lapse video of it, the Moon looks very spherical.

However, because Earth is moving in its orbit around the Sun at the same time, it takes slightly longer for the Moon to show the same phase to Earth, which is about 29.5 days (its synodic period).

"When the moon is new, it is daylight with the sun behind the moon"
This sounds like a solar eclipse, and during an eclipse you can't see the moon until it goes right in front of the sun.
With all that being said, then how is it possible to see a moon phase during day time, when the sun is out?

Macson Florvil the reason why you are able to see the moon is geometry. The relative position of the sun, moon and earth make up a triangle. Only on new moon and full moon it is a straight line. At new moon the moon is in front of the sun. This doesn't mean there is an eclipse on the earth. Due to the tilt of the orbit of the moon it doesn't move in front of the sun always so you can see an eclipse here on earth. When the moon moves further in its orbit around the earth the triangle is made until full moon. Then the moon is behind the earth. Again due to the tilt of the orbit the moon doesn't always moves into the shadow of the creating a lunar eclipse. The moon moves further in the orbit until the triangle is made again until moon. This cycle is repeated then again.

"the reason why you are able to see the moon is geometry. The relative position of the sun, moon and earth make up a triangle."
I understand that theory, but the thing is, it doesn't work in reality. Look at this video below, you have a crescent shaped moon during the day right, but eventually the sun will go down and our sphere earth will rotate but the moon's crescent shape remains exactly the same. Remember that anywhere you stand on the "globe" you can only see one face of the moon, so this is not possible on the heliocentric model, the geometry you using is misleading because the the information that is "known" or "given" is inaccurate.

Look at this video below, pretty much a full moon during the day.

Have you tried to replicate what you actually see with your own eyes? or do you just accept the theories and the imagery that is used to back up and prove the theories?...just try to replicate it, and if you can't then ask yourself how in the world did these "scientist" replicated their theories?

Some very good points to think about and great video production , You should consider how light acts before it enters our atmosphere. Oh yea you cant cause they dont teach us that, Basically Light does not act or maybe even react without atmosphere, (which is why you dont see stars in space only very bright light sources cause there is very little atmosphere , (no such thing as a total vacuum), Maybe this can also account for the lack of shadowing effects. But with out a hell of a right brain you'll have a hard time figuring that out . (lol the intro was kinda insulting as it suggest right thinking cant go left judging from artistic abilities.. there is more to left thinking than that. But your outro was great! ).. So your video does'n prove the moon is not a sphere unless your sticking with conventional main stream science lies . Honestly it looks like a ball to me and presents more surface than just a disc over time, so i would still have to put my bets on that .. But Fk really knows.
