I think you might be my favorite person wjo covers these if your going to link the issue in a pined comment so I can find and read the issues later
Wait, you're telling me that Spiderman finally ( at least in this comic) is having a pretty decent and normal life? An happy ending?
Yea just takes a few robbery for himself and breaking ppl jaws.
For Now. (tm)
@@Guyontheinternet469 more responsible after talking to uncle ben.. before he was robbing stores for food
But a terrible start!
@@mrmistermelom Robbing stores for food is perfectly fine, honestly.
this is fantastic. I would totally accept this as an alternate reality
But but canon event 😂.... lol miguel is probably fuming 🤣
I really like this too. Feels more natural somehow
The whole uncle Ben doomed to die in every iteration of Spider-Man was getting incredibly played out, glad they’re finally breaking that habit and trying new stories where he can live and help Peter.
No help
Suddenly Miguel shows up outta nowhere: "Bro, it's a canon event" as he snaps Uncle Ben's neck in half
@@mynameissangthat would not be a canon event, instead shoot him in the chest and let him bleed out🫡
New stories?
Spider-Man became God and Uncle Ben kept dying as a running gag in one comic.
I thought I was tripping balls when I saw spidey call J.J.J "little hitler"
Is he wrong though?
Yeah, JJ won't go as far because Stan Lee didn't create him that way, but gee whiz does he takes things too far and he needs constant humbling to bring him back down to earth.
I mean, *Captain America* once ripped off JJ's mustache just to prove the point to him that he knows menaces and Spider-Man ain't one of them. And that guy knew Hitler, so that's saying a lot.
JJ's lucky he's got checks-and-balances in his world because he could easily become a super-villain without them.
@@girl1213im not reading all that
im happy for you tho
or sorry if that happened
@@girl1213pretty sure cap just scared him into shaving it
2:28 Spiderman: "And you think you're the only one who's ever had someone they love die?"
Like it or not,Spidey's right
It's like Rocket says, everyone's got dead people.
@@Ilikebats123it’s no excuse to get everyone else dead along the way
No one is going to talk about how Spider-Man called Jonah little hitler It's been.
Alluded to before but not an outright comparison he's ever spoken, especially not from the web head
Not gonna lie I actually felt pretty satisfied when he put Jameson in his place by the hard way.
Yeah I honestly can't stand Jameson he's such a hypocrite and just an all around terrible person. I get that's the point but I'm honestly tired of it I'm glad he ended up becoming a friend to Peter in canon
ikr i hate all the slander he did
I love how at 2:30 Stan and Steve put themselves on the chemistry book
Spider-Man, got a good ending?! It's a miracle.
Bro got Gwen His Uncles Alive He Isn't Tom Holland He Isn't gay Harry is Still his Best Friend The Goblin is Dead bro he got a perfect ending unlike tom
@@DaRealRocketMan lmaoo, fr
@@DaRealRocketMan
He lost his Aunt, but other than that everything else seem to have gotten better.
Also, what do you mean the Goblin is dead?
@@Zack_Zander oh shit sorry my memory is shit like goblin got backhanded into a AC Fan and apparently he got crippled or some shit
@@DaRealRocketMan
Yeah, crippled and his villain identity was revealed much earlier, but he should be still alive.
A good ending? Wtf. Hey I'm not complaining. 😅
Marvel writers are not happy but I am
Spider-Man? With a life as Peter Parker? With a stable and happy personal life? Able to stand up to Jonah and his slander? With a solid relationship with MJ? Using his skills as a scientist?
Marvel must be having seizures.
It would be interesting to see how this Spider-Man reacts to bonding with a Symbiote.
If it's still the Venom symbiote, it could either dredge up those old, negative feelings he had before talking with his uncle, or because he's more balanced emotionally, they could have a truly symbiotic relationship with little to no downsides or side effects.
At least their is a story that spidy gets a happy ending
I don't think their is though 😂
>Uncle Ben working with Peter like a Spotter alongside a Sniper
I didn't know how much I needed this until today.
Uncle Ben and aunt may remind me of the Kent family so much Peter really got a loving and caring family he’s lucky if he never got his powers atleast he had that.
Im happy that in this iteration Spiderman gos through some rough times but it doenst feel forced or like misery porn.
He learns from the situation and from Uncle Ben's words, seems to have a better balance in his mundane and hero life and Uncle Ben helps him from a safe place.
Seriously, this might be thebest situation Spidey has been in.
Bro was sent to prison for not being home late???
There’s no way. A Spider-Man comic with a happy ending? Impossible.
I'm curios as to how Spider-Man is being "bullied" in juvie. Between his spider senses, his reflexes, and strength, it seems like he would be untouchable.
It would reveal his identity
exactly, there has been many times that peter will purposely get bullied so it wouldnt be too obvious that he’s spiderman
@@marquesventura7599Why him not being a pushover expose he's Spiderman? You act like people know what his powers are.
@@jeremiahscott2032No they wouldn't they'd just be shocked how they messed with someone who has good reflexes.
@@jeremiahscott2032using SS for dodging wouldnt reveal anything
this is actually a pretty cool ending
wow, more wholesome than the actual reality, what a twist
This is more realistic than saint Peter.
Spoiler
I cried when Uncle ben said it wasn't his fault.
It wasn't his fault Uncle Ben died, so it's not his fault Aunt May died.
Peter always blamed himself for it, but as Uncle Ben said: he could not have known what would happen next.
Now that's a really nice "What if"!
I've always abhorred J. Jonah Jameson.
The way he was humbled felt beyond cathartic
Then you don't get his character. He's suffering too.
Someone suffering doesn't automatically make them likable or excuse their actions.
Jonah is a slanderous asshole there is no way around that.
Knowing why someone is the way they are simply makes it more understandable.
@@SirDankleberry And to quote Rocket "Boo-hoo. Everybody's got dead people. That's no excuse to get everybody else dead along the way!"
Him having a dead son is an explanation, not an excuse to bully Spider-Man. Jameson is a grown man. For once, he needs to act like it
@@DragonGoddess18 and spider man is a criminal! A vigilante thats created like 50 supervillains do to his antics!
@@jackmakila3776e didn't create shite, people choose to be villains. It's no one else's responsibility how you live your life. Just like Peter has the free will to be a superhero and he didn't have to be but he chose to. Instead of blaming the guy doing his job and keeping the city safe blame the scumbags who constantly fck up the city and refuse to back down for the millionth time. And calling him a criminal is stupid, criminals are bad guys and Spiderman is not. Sure he's a vigilante but vigilantes are making the police job easier and safer and therefore they are the good guys illegal job or not.
I would love to see this version continue on.
This is the ONE interesting version of Spider-Man ive seen in a long time. Great story telling.
Thus is the only comic to acknowledge that jjj had a Charles Chapman mustache
here's the secret sauce to a good spidey story. Yes, we like seeing Peter struggle with his heroic alter ego, yes we love seeing the consequences of his decisions to effect his life, BUT we also love seeing him pull a win in the end. So many people emphasize the struggle of Spiderman but everyone forgets that these sacrifices he makes come out to something good in the end and not just a "fuck you Peter! you get a shit life!", otherwise it doesn't make "doing the right thing, despite how difficult or unattractive it is" a preferrable option
Now we just need a spiderman au with this outcome bc boy do i want to hear uncle ben as our mentor radioing in crime and finding weaknesses for peter to exploit in villains
who know Peter with anger issue lead to a good ending
Oh wow. That's a true happy ending for him!
To be honest, this wasn't a what if that I particularly cared for all that much. Not that it was a bad story really, it just didn't appeal to me. That and the writers putting Flash and Harry in Juvenile Hall with Peter didn't make sense to me. It was Peter's life that had changed, why would Flash or Harry's life change?
Of course Pete would be reading what looks like a chemistry book written by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
Saw this happen in what if Peter Parker became Nova, Peter gets bit by Spider goes to hospital May dies from panic causing heartattack, Peter is crippled by Spider bite blames himself for May's death pushes everyone out of his life then gets blasted with energy turning him into nova. The burglar breaks into Parkers house shoots at Peter bullet bounce off Peter killing the burglar, Peter feels guilty for his death and vows never to use his powers again
Ditko Detention Centre??? Who's the headmaster? Mr A? 😂
This version is much less depressing.
I think the stories are fantastic
It'd be interesting to read about a more gritty Spider-man like that.
I think I like this origin story better.
It's more realistic (by comic book standards) without it feeling the need to be hopelessly gritty.
It's optimistic and gives Peter Parker a solid character progression.
this spiderman may have done wrong things...but he made things right in the end
Mainstream Spider-Man has done wrong things in the past too, but making things right is part of who he is. It's a core essential
Somewhere out there in the
multiverse Peter is doing fine
& I’m okay with that
😏
Pov you found the journalist that writes lies about gamers: 2:48
Now I wish this was the real timeline. Uncle Ben was/is a better parent than Aunt May.
I honestly expected him to start beating up Flash…
The writer strikes again
O'hara: B-but the canon event!
Spider-man(From the video): Sorry, but Not in My world, buddy.
Considering how many Spider heroes there are today, Peter disappearing wouldn't get this much coverage. Miles would be either annoyed at having to pick up Peter's slack or understanding that the guy needs time to get his act together. I don't know what 616 Miles and Peter's relationship is like compared to the one in Insomniac.
Juvi for sneaking out one night?? That's way too extreme
For once bro had a good storh and not a fucked up one
Who knew that Aunt May dying, changes events in the canon for a slightly better future, even if the start is a little rougher than usual, but I feel that since Peter had to basically be a criminal just to survive at the start, he could have learned what its like to be on the other side of the coin, because in his canon career he did push some common crooks to become super villains, by him humiliating them when they were just regular joes that got into crime to survive, because unfortunately making a decent living is not an option for everyone.
Riiight there is no way JJJ would stop after the Spider had shown how punisher he could be he would have doubled down frightfully so.
1:56 Is that some random background chick character or is that someone Peter knows Just curious
Not a bad what if story. See Marvel, it’s not hard to give your poster boy a good life! Stop tormenting Peter already in the main continuity!
Can we have Spider-Man stop kicking the shit out of Jameson for one second 😫
triple J had it coming
Gotta say, I've grown out of Spider-Man because it's the same old story. People does something slightly selfish despite being a selfless hero and he gets screwed over, he's the only one ever taking responsibility and his life is worse off for it. And I hate it, at some point, Peter needs to be reasonably selfish and make his life better. As long as he himself doesn't become a villain, then it won't matter if he does a little evil if he himself is a net positive.
Jameson's whole reason for hating Spider-Man is about as dumb as Waller's reason for hating the Justice League.
Both of them should realize how much risk they're placing their lives in with every threat they make against them
I read this when I was 11
This is what the Amazing Spiderman should've or could've been lol
Why is this version not in spider verse 2
Ah yes, finally an ending where spiderman doesn't have everything go wrong. Good times!
If spiderman 2099 shows up complaining about canon events, uncle ben will show him a few tricks he learned in prison.
Tbf the cannon event was may's death
Guess the state's just gonna overlook that running away from the detention center?
Anyone gonna bet that this isn’t canon, like it never happens in any universe at all, given how Marvel writers relish in making Peter suffer?
Are you sure that the writers didn't screw over Spider-Man?
