  • In this tutorial we use Skin Cast silicone and Prosthetic Additive 1 to create a realistic breast model. A thin membrane of straight Skin Cast 0010 was brushed into the ArtKast resin mold. The skin was then back-filled with softened Skin Cast at a ratio of 1A +1B + 1PA1 (Prosthetic Additive 1).

These tutorials have been invaluable for my prosthetic research. TY!. I have a question and I pray that someone from Brick in The Yard can nudge me in the right direction. I'm making prosthetic breast for cosplay and I need a very thin membrane of cap plastic to help blend the prosthetic into the skin. I'm guessing from my research that I need to spray a layer of cap plastic before I pour the silicone and after. Would cap plastic work with the recipe in this video? Also, I see that this video you are using a mold made of Artkast. Would it be better for me to make a master mold of silicone or can I get away of using a mold made out of Artcast. TY for all of your video on prosthetics.
