In boomshine saigon when phil steering wheel you can release key to prevent it it will go straight with current speed(sorry if i make mistake my english is not good)
I honestly liked the Recruitment Drive. Like, it's on-par with Tightened in terms of difficulty, fun of the gimmick and ramdomlessness, which is pretty rare (tho this mod's second name is literally "Nightmare mission pack")
IMO, saying that the mod has no cool ideas is a bit too much (0:20). The boss fight with diaz was something new and cool, the idea with the boat on top of the van was really nice, the races with the choose your car mechanic were interesting. They all were terribly implemented, with lots and lots of BS, but the ideas are definitely interesting. Would honestly love to see a conclusion video for the mod several weeks after you have completed it (which is now, i guess), when you would be less focused on negatives, and maybe even get DinosaurBytes on with his opinion on the mod from a mod developer view
I don't think he means that all the ideas in the mod suck, since he did say that the mod has some excellent concepts and ideas it just executes insanely poorly, and I quite honestly agree on that.
I just finished up watching the full-streams of the mod on the archives channel and Ben you're a fucking hero for playing though this. It really looked excruciatingly painful many times. You gave me entertainent for hours upon hours. Thank you!

Honestly I don’t understand how people can complain that not every mod maker cares enough to make a perfect mod or if they’re someone who just wanted to make some stupid shit for people to get some content out of. Like my dude, you don’t have to play the mod. It’s really as simple as that. And if the creator’s prerogative is to not completely fix it or make it something that is completely balanced then who are you to just expect them to by default? You’re getting money out of streaming their mods lol. Just have fun with it. Some mod makers might not even have enough time to completely dedicate to a mod. Maybe they’ve moved on from coding. Maybe their personal skill ceiling limits their ability TO fix everything. Maybe a family member died. Who knows. Who cares.

I like how the only skilled missions are the ones the mod can't put 50 enemies with m4s. I mean he prob could but let's be honest he wouldn't since he can't claim its first try without any luck
Boomshine saigon and dildo dodo. The missions i was so crap at i couldn't even cheat to beat it when i was a kid. Those and demolition man i always had issues with.
Sooo might be a wrong explanation about the dodo mission but I guess it can make a bit of sense, Simply tommy have go through the Marks, not parts of the dodo as you got out and tommy was able to make the mark checked on the starfish island and under the bridge so yeah thats why when you tried to go through the red mark and the dodo clearly touching it but tommy didn't so yeaaah
Boomshine Saigon sounds like it's fused with I'll Take Her from IV but the Creator is drunk on Pirated Boomshine But is it possible for you to steal a tank and use it for later missions if you do trigger that six stars however? Also, that Thumbnail feels like it's gonna be a Vacation with the Boys Gone Wrong
i saw a glimpse of the discussion in the chat, a The Saboteur playthrough whould be nice, i love that game. Even today it still has some unique mechanics, although idk how will yt/twitch take it seeing as pretty much everywhere there is a nazi symbol and the first cutscene plus some safehouses have full blown tiddies (i think the nudity can be disabled though, not sure)
I mean, I totally get your arguments about bad mission design, but let's count how many times throughout this series you've said it was unwinnable, then won nonetheless. A good example of which is at 5:06 during Bomshine Saigon where you started to come up with winnable tactics mid-rant about how it was purely luck-based :)
I love watching this series, Ben, but it always makes me uncomfortable when you act snappy and dunk on people in the chat who say harmless things. I know this mod must be frustrating as hell, however it's your own choice to continue playing it. You could at least leave those portions out of the final edit, it's not the best look for you I think. Just a bit of feedback.

It's always possible to steal a tank. But it would trivialise a lot of missions, so I chose to not use one until absolutely necessary

you restart way too much, youll crash during boomshine and the health bar wouldnt even visibly move and youll restart.
