yea speed is key in sat. If u finish quickly, you can check ur answers. Sat is very important test so u have to spend every minute u get.

@@user-ju8qo9xc2m yeah sry I was wrong cause we don't count grades like that in France but now I can tell, we are meant to be able to do that in 8th or 9th grade (more likely 9th grade) which corresponds to "quatrième" et "troisième" so about the end of junior high school. Anyway after jr highschool when you get into senior high school (Which is one year later in France) it gets really difficult and that's where there is so many students failing. You should take a look at the Maths subject of the French baccalaureate it can be pretty hard at some point, also they just made it harder than ever this year lol. In a decent high school in France if you're not dumped in maths you can literally score a perfect without any prep, at this "kind" of SAT

This is a general test. Americans have AP classes too which are more difficult. Surely, it's not as difficult as JEE (imo JEE is one of the most stupid concepts/exams in the world) but it does not need to be.

i love how u make it easier, less stressful and mainly that we can all do it.
I feel like I’m capable of this but because of the stakes of the SAT I get over stressed and end up having to read each question like 3 times.
then the cure to that is just repeat until u feel comfortable. you feel stressed because it seems new - just do a bunch of practice tests till u get used to it
It’s best to practice in the same environment as the actual test. You can’t really do that, so try to simulate a high pressure environment while taking a practice test somehow. Get used to the pressure and stress
Truth is it's not important. It never will be. In 10 years you wont think about it unless you were a relatively smart kid who peaked in high school.
@@Triferus Well its important for colleges and scholarships. You're right that it won't be important after that though (unless you decide to transfer)
The only solution to that is a lot of practice, so that it's almost mechanical and your nerves won't get involved.

For anyone taking the SAT, you can easily pass if you just *_B R E A T H E_*
Quick tip for the stranger scrolling by: On a problem like 12 just plug in 0 or 1 instead of his method which is way more complicated.
Plugging in 0 or 1 for x and seeing which is equal to the example is way faster and this method is applicable to many different problems! Good luck!

Question #12 @3:25. Neat trick is to let x=0 and see what choices equate to the given expression. If two choices are equal to the expression, let x=1, and so on.
I had to pause to read the questions before he solved them and i got the same answers, so now I'm more confident in myself. We still haven't studied parabolas in school tho so i didn't know that one

The only difficult parts of the SAT are the time constraints, wording, and the questions being unorganized unlike a school test. The concepts are really easy though

Watching this makes me appreciate how far I've come since I took the SAT. This stuff looks like a cake walk to me now. Humans are cool man we can cram a whole lot of stuff in our heads with enough repetition. To anyone who will be taking the SAT soon: don't stress out. I'd bet money on the fact that you know a lot more than you're giving yourself credit for. Take a breath and think about the big picture of things you've learned. Go back to topics that look unfamiliar and instead of getting bogged down in the notation and pure mathematics, think about what it means. If you can understand that, the weird math notations make sense. If you continue in STEM, in a few years you'll look back on this stuff and wonder why you ever stressed out about it.
