So easy. The last one you should say x≥0 and then when you square things up you should say |2x|=200 or |x|=100 or x= ±100 and you would reject the negative answer as x≥0. I think this is a more formal way of resolving the exercise.

Really, and this goes for all sections of the SAT test, you just need the knowledge. That’s what the SAT is testing; do you have the knowledge, do you know the formulas, do you know how to solve these problems? As long as you know a great deal of math formulas and principals (like functions or systems of equations), then you’ll be fine.
Im from Belarus and decided to check what SAT math section looks like and actually now I’m quite shocked. I haven’t studied math for a long time already (since I graduated from school in 2020) and I wasn’t that brilliant at math at school in general but I have solved all of the problems. Some of them don’t even need any formula you can solve them in your mind in a few seconds. I remember my final exam math exam at school was much more difficult, we even studied logarithms. But I see that students in the USA don’t make their life that hard))) It’s some kind of relief that I am capable of passing it!)))

Good for you man, that’s such a nutty score
#14 baffles me and I don't even know why. I just don't understand why that works and how you decide to go about using that method.
This problem tests your understanding of laws of exponents.
Step one makes the bars thre same. This id a highly recommended first step.
Step two is the power of a power. Multiply the exponents (3 times x).
Step three is the quotient rule. Subtract the exponents.
Oh my goodness I cant explain how helpful this video is!! Thank you so much!
You’re welcome. Glad it helped.
first time ive bookmarked an educational video i found helpful
Thankyou so much this helped me a lot! I’m going to be watching your with calculator practice test as well... awesome work much needed!! Way better then how my PSAT book explains it. 👍
Thank you. Glad it helped. Good luck on your test.
So easy. The last one you should say x≥0 and then when you square things up you should say |2x|=200 or |x|=100 or x= ±100 and you would reject the negative answer as x≥0. I think this is a more formal way of resolving the exercise.

If you do the ncert level of indian maths of class 11th and 12th , you would tell that the sat paper was like a cakewalk

thank you, your voice was soothing && the information was retainable❤️
You’re welcome. Thank you for the comment.
well, it was so easy I expected something much harder from sat.
Smashed my SAT. Had to come up with some of my own tricks like "Plugging in the given answers available as X" to see if it is true or false. That is one of my bag of tricks that works for those of you who have never tried that.
You will find the SAT will try & make problems look much more complex than they actually are like that second problem it gives you a square root trying to trip you up over it.
Bro,u're my hero, thank you so much, can't even imagine what i would do without your channel
You’re welcome. Glad the videos help. Thank you for the comment.
Thank you for this review! It was seriously so helpful to work through problems with a walkthrough to explain

Hello I am a student in France and I would like to study in the USA, I would like to know when the registration for the university in general begins?
@@xtg-cm4pg it depends on the university, most applications for the next fall semester have closed already but do some research into the specific schools you’re interested in
@@elliottwhite1298 thank you for your information
Thank you so much for this video! This really bettered not only my understanding but my confidence.
You’re welcome.
15 is incorrect. You were right but stopped and found values for a and b but the question asks for the values of c. Great video otherwise, sir! This is the first video I watched for my PSAT practice which is next Wednesday and I am in my junior year and I can definitely say it helped set a base for my understanding. Thank you!
Is there science in sat ?
nice job explaining!
Thank you. Glad it helped.
1:14 “ 3 ahh..” and “9 ahh”
😆 that’s so funny I can’t
yeah idk what the addition method is:/
@@parkerd4421 I think he meant elimination :)
I found a faster way to solve #15
a+b = 8
a*b = 15
U can assume a=3 and b=5 (or b=3, a=5)
7a + 2b = c
7(3) + 2(5) = 31
and
7(5) + 2(3) = 41
Im from Belarus and decided to check what SAT math section looks like and actually now I’m quite shocked. I haven’t studied math for a long time already (since I graduated from school in 2020) and I wasn’t that brilliant at math at school in general but I have solved all of the problems. Some of them don’t even need any formula you can solve them in your mind in a few seconds. I remember my final exam math exam at school was much more difficult, we even studied logarithms. But I see that students in the USA don’t make their life that hard))) It’s some kind of relief that I am capable of passing it!)))

For question 9, why do u multiply by -2 for x+2y=-19 ?
To get negative 4 y. So when I add the two equations the y terms go away.

This type of maths we be doing in class 7 or 8 by max in India. This is sooooooo ezzzzz
go eat your curry
Easiest maths paper I have ever seen
As an indian preparing for jee advanced, I was curious about this sat exam so I checked out this exam and it's literally nothing compared to what we go through 😅
I’m from England and you guys have multiple choice !!!!! No way, you guys are sooo lucky
Im from Turkey and these guys are goddamn lucky but you are lucky
too my friend because u know english pretty well.İn my country English is very very important for taking jobs. You'll probably gonna do 120 on TOEFL.XD
multiple choices can be pretty hard sometimes
@@virenderparasariya İ dont agree because When you have multiple choices you got some people to handle it too so youre ready for it.Also this test is so freakin easy in my country 8th grade kids just do tests like that for practice. And we have an exam called ''LGS'' ps:8th grade kids do that test.İts 10 times hard than SAT maths. But America is a country where everybody come for graduate. So that makes sense tho
@@walterw6585 I was not particularly talking about this exam but the one that I am preparing for very tough and most of the questions are multiple choice
Yeah man cool. But im talkin 'bout SAT because i thought American guys go into college with that exam.İm not really into american exams so XD.But i will be in SAT exam and insAllah (İt means i hope in my country but more religious than that)İ will graduate from Massachuets.İ wish best luck for you mate
good luck everyone tomorrow
Thanks for this. Im taking it for the second time this saturday 😔
You’re welcome. Good luck.
I never sat (no pun intended) the SAT. And finished high school 15 years ago. I just want to sharpen up my math because I feel pretty dumb now. I used to be very good at math back in school. I got the first 7-8 easily but then it got harder and couldn't solve most of them. But then after the answers were told, it kinda clicked. It all made sense and I understand it better now than I did back in school. Maybe you're a good teacher
Thank you.
I love it and i did watch the whole video at 2 am 😅 because i was intersested and i wanted to know more about it .All thanks to you.🌼
Thank you for the comment.
Bro I thought sat was calc material, lmao this is going to be laughably easy.
👍
On problem 10: You didn't have to go through all those steps. Just realize that (4)^2 is the same as (-4)^2. So, g(4) = g(-4)
Yes. I just wanted to show all of the work in case that wasn’t the case.
As a Korean student, I always wonder about the level of SAT. Even the competitions like AIME are way too easy.
I would say this exam would get many perfect scores in my country
Same in Turkey. Exam you take to choose which high school is eay harder than this
omfg finally someone who thinks this test is fucking hilarious. As a turkish student who is going to get into collage this year ive been laughing so hard at how easy these are and the funnier thing is that THEY think these are complicated and hard to understand LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

FUNFACT:- STANDARD 10 STUDENTS CAN EASILY SOLVE THESE STUFF IN INDIAN
this is like the easiest test Hope IIT was this easy
This is so easy i'm not indian kr american that's easy work in my country
Bro even a 7th or 8th grade student will solve it🤣
idk why but I feel like these are much easier questions than what I get on the SAT
In number 10 we can say that x is squared so if it was 4 or negative 4 it will be the same answer because (4)^2 = 16 and (-4)^2=16 .
you did all this steps In a mental question.
my 3 year old brother wanted to watch youtube, this is what i let him watch on the big tv screen.
I’m gonna cry, I’m taking this tomorrow
How did it goooo
I may be wrong, cuz i have never done SAT, but as someone who has tried many times and failed to get in UNAM FACMED (public medicine college from mexico), this looks waaaay easy, i kinda want to get it a shot studying in USA now lol
Yeah true. In my country we can dream about having multiple choice questions in math
Same......maybe we find it easy cause there really isn't competition for college in the US unlike in my country
Dude itsl so easy. Even a 7th or 8th grader could solve it in India
to solve #8 quicker, you could also just plug in 2 for a and 1 for b so that a/b = 2.
after that just plug in 2 for a and 1 for b in the 4b/a equation and then you’ll be left with 2.
This was really helpful, and I love your accent
Thank you. Glad it helped.
Awesome video, the explanations helped a lot! I am still confused on 10 though. How do you know when to plug 4 in for x and why?
Because it tells you that g(4)=8 and 4 is in place of x. g(4) is g(x) where 4 is the place of x so you know to plug in 4 for the equation.
