The Boeing 757 is and will always be an awesome and unique plane. Neither the A321, NEO, and XLR can beat the performance this aircraft has. Thank you Lord for having the pencil existing in our lives
So beautiful!! I even love the ethereal quality the smog gives the view, lol! I love taking off from LA!! I love how this guy achieves such loft and rapid height because the plane was so light...the city just falls away beneath you so quickly!
This is awesome! Plus there was the added bonus of a plane landing....and then on the ground from up above! I am usually frozen in panic and fear when we take off.....close to tears.....so I don't look...i give my son the window seat....but this was awesome to see! But i still felt panicked watching!

Also the shadows indicate it is late afternoon, and the sun is lighting ground objects from behind the camera.
***** The taxi is interesting, but you could always skip that part for the takeoff if it gets boring. It is nice to see the airport and terminals from the inside view of an airplane.
I've noticed on all of your videos that you're always seated just forward of the engine. That in itself becomes the focal point of the take-offs and landings. Great pastime.

I'm surprised that they didn't swap the plane out for something smaller like the 737s that will never properly replace the 757. The 757 is simply cannot be replaced and is one of the best planes ever built (better than the plastic put together today). I wish I had your luck in a situation like this where you get a bigger plane with almost no passengers.

Usually I like to sit by the right side of the plane due to the fact that I can get a glimpse of my old high school; St. Bernard, as we are taking off. This is not a bad view either

I realize that it all depends on weights, weather conditions, local regulations etc., but based on all your experience, is there one type that sticks out? I flew the 757-300 out of Midway airport a few times on ATA - I have to agree - it is one of the best preforming aircraft.
