    Nice looking bike, good power and decent style but 5k for a e-bike in 2024/25 it just feels like we’re moving backwards in this category!!!

    Even though the bike has a lot of power, it will not kick in until you get some speed. On even a slight incline, it won't go. The bike is heavy so pedaling from a stop is hard. Wish someone would come up with a solution.

    • @ErockRodz
      @ErockRodz  2 месяца назад +1

      I haven’t been able to try this myself, but if you change the PAS from 9 options to 3 options in the advanced settings then PAS level one should have enough power to get you going. You should check out @IMBruceECLECTIC video review on the graffiti X. He explains how to do it in his video! Good Luck!

      Thats a deal breaker for me. Why can't levels for soft start be adjusted like on other bikes....Billy Goat, Ghost Cat, etc!

    Looks great Erock! The frame is definitely unique and looks like they took the time to pick some high quality components. I agree i think with PAS modes, 9 can be too overwhelming since no one wants to cycle through all that. 3 is the sweet spot imo.

    • @ErockRodz
      @ErockRodz  2 месяца назад +1

      Yeah I really like the components and design! I found out that you can change from 9, to either 5 or 3. So I may have to play around with the other settings to find out what works best!

    Nice review, the tip of the kickstand should be an adjustable sleeve. look on the back of the tip for an adjustment, loosen the fastener, then adjust the length. Shortening the kickstand will give you more of that lean you're looking for

    This is way overpriced right now. It was overpriced at the beginning. Way too low to the ground. I wish there was a size option at least

    • @ErockRodz
      @ErockRodz  2 месяца назад +2

      👋 I do agree the price is kind of high currently, but I actually think it was priced pretty well initially. Especially if you look at the specs vs a super73 RX. My ONYX CTY2 was similarly priced for lower specs as the Graffiti X when I first purchased it. Size options would be nice to make it more universal though.

    • @ThePenguinTutorials
      @ThePenguinTutorials 2 месяца назад +4

      @@ErockRodzcomparing anything to super73 is not great. Their bikes are catered to people who buy bikes based on looks / marketing and not on performance to price ratio. It’s a cool looking bike, but in terms of pure performance, a 60v system with 3000 watts for almost $5k out the door is a little bit of a stretch.

    Erock,
    Check the rear wheel nuts and chain tensioners spacer bolts because IMBruceECLECTIC just a day or so ago had a braking accident and his rear wheel moved and his Graffiti X is now broke and has a motor fault...
    So it's worth checking the rear wheel isn't going to move suddenly when having to suddenly brake hard.

    I test rode this earlier this year in SoCal and the power delivery is definitely an upgrade compared to the regular Lyric Graffiti. This bike was/somewhat is still a contender for a high powered moped style cruiser, especially with the full suspension, carbon belt drive (non-Gates CDN when I asked), Magura breaks, 60V/40ah/3000W motor. However, I definitely agree the Spark Cycleworks Brute and Javelin are similarly priced, but are made and/or assembled in the USA, with a higher voltage system, etc. As you mentioned, the bike now retails for 4.6k, which is drastic increase from the pre-sale price of 3k.
    Time will tell if people are willing to fork over that amount. It seems that 60V will be either the standard voltage for higher priced/performance bikes in 2025, or perhaps even be scrapped in favor of 72V.
    Torn if if I should go the pedal route like this, or just risk it and buy either the new Talaria MX-5 or E-ride Pro SS 3.0.
    Looking forward to another future review of your Lyric Graffiti X.

    I heard that there is a complaint that the Graffiti X is programmed to have a very soft start before the acceleration kicks in. Some have said the torque from a dead stop can be problematic if you stop on a steep incline. Can anybody comment on this rumour?

  • @Jujubees225

    With the lower voltage is heat a problem when running it pretty aggresively. I know Mrcentral driver got it to overheat.

    • @ErockRodz
      @ErockRodz  2 месяца назад

      Right now, the weather in my area is around 50-60 degrees so I am not sure I would be able to test hot weather overheating. I am pretty sure Lyric Cycles made some changes to the production model that Mr. CD experienced on the prototypes. I will definitely put the bike through its paces to push the motors limits in the near future though!

    • @ErockRodz

      Not sure specifically, but I believe it’s around 30.5 to 31 inches. The prototype definitely felt shorter because of the seat was thinner. I’ll check when I am back with my bike! I have wanted a roadrunner for awhile now!

    Why are e-bike manufacturers afraid to give us a big battery? 8000W output in only a 40 amp hour battery? When are they going to understand we want both power and range? We are tired of happening to pick one or the other. There's plenty of room in that frame, I don't get it. Goat power bikes has figured it out with their full frame battery options, they just need to turn the power up a little bit. 😉
