oh brothers & sisters, im a Glutton, im a lustful, terrible man, im begging you all, please give me advice, i havent been to church in 6 sundays, i feel unclean, i feel not of myself, ive grown more hateful over time, and more aggressive, i beg any of you, is there some way that i can reverse thise adverse effect (im planning to go to church this sunday) its not that i wish to not enter church, its a forceful laziness thats runs over me, i feel as if im loosing in the war against sin.
i guess more or less all of us younger generations have gone through the same thing... i think laziness is greater sin than lust itself... i recall right now what one holy father said, something like: if u fell don't despair but say: what else could be expected from me a sinner? and get up again (spiritually), repent and move on
if you had the time and energy to write that long comment asking for help, you had time to help yourself. i fight the same sin and i lost today. you just have to get up and go and do whatever it is you need to do. just get up and go.
I will give you advice. Don't repent your Sin on the Internet for thousands to see. Lock yourself in your room and Go to Jesus christ in prayer and repent there where you and God can be alone. It is alright to seek advice about your sinful habits but coming to the Internet with your sins and not God in my point of view is wrong. My 2nd advice is that is Dont pray through comments for other people to see so they can respect you and honour you. There is no reward in it. I've done this myself and learned from it. Just go to God with your sins and your concerns and i promise you that in his love and mercy will hear you and answer you and forgive you.
Talk to your Priest. Go to Confession. Speak of your fears and insecurities, your struggles and pains. It's hard to speak of such things, but once you do, rest assured that you'll hear Christ answering you through the Priest.
If you feel unable to bear the temptations laid upon you, keeping quiet will only allow the devil to further devour you from within. Confession is a sacrament for uncountable reasons, and to help us deal with those traps is one of them.

I suggest the late Bishop Kallistos Ware's Inner Kingdom. In it there is a chapter called Holy Fool: Prophet and Apostle where he addresses that very concern but ultimately praising the unique role of the Fool-For-Christ given to the Church for enrichment by God. It's important to note that his actions, although eccentric, has the logic of making people repent and see through their own hypocrisy. Many people didn't understand at first, but when they understood, they all became edified. If you think monks are not serving God, If you're wondering why monks spend their time in prayer instead of engaging in social-political activism to actually change the world, then you deeply underestimate the power of prayer.
