Hmmmm...i had tried this dessert and it came out well....just my sago burn a little because of the amount of water that i used was less but then i asked my mother's help to cook the sago....and the gula melaka covered the taste and smell of the sago.....1 question...the sago supposed to be sticky after it is cooked, right???

I tried using Pandan Sago instead. It came in a bag. I wanted to do more so i dumped the whole bag into the pot. Omg it was super starchy like old styled glue. Had to wash off the starch a bit at a time and so far it looked the same as how yours turned out. Now waiting for the results from the fridge. Will post pix of it soon :)

Nvm I made this all on stove top in it was delicious and made this recipe but made five times more cause I had a party and they were amazing!!!!!! Expect I put more than 5 times the amount of water for the gula Melaka( I don't know what I was thinking) so I just boiled it until it evaporated and they were delicious. The coconut milk gave it a not so plain taste and the gula Melaka made it sweet and yummy! Will definitely make this again
