the optimization was so bad in gta 6 they delayed it i think by a few years, the game will not look as good as we think, and will not run as good we as thought, but yes it will run on a few older gpus not like it will require a 2080 to play
what are you even talking about? my RTX 4060 laptop can easily get 100+ fps at 1080P Ultra in most of the latest AAA games with some DLSS, its a very good 1080P gaming card which can even do some 1440P 60-70 fps gaming

This card would have been just 3 years old at the time the game was released. And GTA5 only called for 1gb of vram. So this wouldve been a great card to use still. To compare these days, it's like playing newer titles with 20xx series cards. Heck, I'm still using a 980ti.

When GTA V pc came out i was playing it with a FX-6300 OCed GTX 660 2Gb and 8Gb DDR3 ! it was enough to play at high settings (extra settings off) around 60fps
I have a 670 in a retro rig with a Haswell i7, running Windows 10, that I use to play all my older/vintage games on platforms that now require Windows 10. With lossless scaling and frame gen, I used it to play Forza Horizon 4 at 1440p60. Native 1440p is no problem for the games I typically use it to play. I had previously tried a 560 Ti 448 but it just would not run at 1440p, in spite of every reference I looked at saying it could do 1440p. So looks like the 600 series is the oldest that can actually run 1440p (and higher, apparently) in Windows 10/11. I think your faith in Rockstar might be misplaced, just as my faith in CDPR was misplaced. I really didn't want GTA: Night City. When I play Cyberpunk again, I'm rolling back to version 1.05. It really isn't too difficult to upgrade a 2GB 670 to 4GB and I'm going to practice on mine before I upgrade my 6GB 2060 to 12GB. GTX 670s are a lot cheaper.
Used to play GTA V when it came out on a 760 which i believe has a pretty similar performance, only played on 1080p 2xAA and i believe everything else maxed if i am not mistaken and it had a stable 60fps with VSync so i am not surprised with the 670 performing well, i actually believe the 670 might be a tad better, those where different days though, the 760, a mid-range gpu, draws the same 170w as the 670, a older gen high-end card... go figure... CPU was either a i7-920 or a 2600k, can't be sure now
We need more game benchmarks with this gpu, i had it for a while as it was part of my first setup. GTA 5 is not the most demanding game as it ran on xbox 360 and ps3, although poorly.
I upgraded from an amd rx 550 2gb to the nvidia GeForce rtx 3060 12gb over a month and a half ago. I have an i5 10400f, 32gb ram and a 1080p monitor. 30-40% of the time, the CPU won't let the GPU go it's full potential so it's a sensible upgrade considering the only game I play which has the FG support is Cyberpunk 2077 which I don't play that often. Mostly I play beamng ( extra 4 gigs really helps in more traffic) , GTA series, Minecraft. And even if I needed Frame gen, I would just use FSR 3 FG mod. Rx 6600xt and above are hard to find here and I only have a 550 watt PSU and this was the final upgrade for my PC. Did I make the right decision? I would like to say one thing tho, extra vram >>>> 15-20% rasterized performance. Overclocking can slightly close the GAP too. And i do admit that rx 6700xt>>>> rtx 3060/4060

wow wtf this card is really good I bought my laptop in late 2016 and it can't do this it has gtx 950m. I'm kinda regretted buying this laptop I thing I could've bought 10 series good pc with the amount of money i spent on this which would still be alright in 2024. I bought new pc in 2021 with gtx 1650 super in 3/4 the price of the laptop and still pretty decent in 1080p with new games.

The advantage of your GPU is that it should consume only half the electrical power and you also have 8GB of VRAM.
U should disable virtuilization on the 3600x as it reduces performance in games. When I turned it off it gave me a good bost in fps valorant
