Most of these activities are acrobatic races, races where you drive like a maniac over objects, jump very long distances and crash repeatedly with other players. GTA 5 physics are absolutely perfect for these kind of races, since your car doesn't damage that fast and it's maneuverable all the time, also there's other popular activities that abuse these physics, like vehicle parkours, mega ramps, face 2 face, sumo, vespucci job, and many others that would be unplayable with realistic physics like GTA 4 ones, or any other of the previous GTA games. That's why i think GTA 6 is going to have arcady physics and I'm not against it at all, I would love that again, an average player maybe won't enjoy realistic physics, and even I that play and enjoy Assetto Corsa and BeamNG wouldn't like realistic physics in GTA again, they're not a good combo, it's a nice experience to try a few times but it would become annoying after a few weeks / months. Even if it sounds annoying, it would add good realism for the game and so another possible upgrade for heist and long chases would be a better intercooler for the engine. So you must prepare for a robbery and maybe tune a car for accidents and long chases in order to escape. Would be a nice idea
I think they should have a mode for where during missions you can pick weather the damage is realistic and arcade, and depending on what you pick can change the amount of money you make. Say if you pick realistic damage you get more money since it's another layer of difficulty
there are trade-offs which can be made here. You can employ an more realistic damage model to body of the car and diferent modules, but in the same time you can limit the damage transmited to the drivetrain. Even if the car looks that it sustained heavy damage and body denting you can still drive it good.
The brake and reverse gear must be separate buttons for console because everytime you brake at a stop light the car engages reverse that is stupid and get some turn signal lights in the game and make crashes like real life make the game more realistic
I bet a lot of people forgot that gta5 use to have better car destruction back when it originally released, they toned it down when they added first person
Bro, only option is go for realistic destruction mechanics and everyone for themselves adjust intesivness. If you're in races or multi-player missions this value is set by host or votes.
So we’re just going to forget that cabs will drive you for those who don’t want to drive. For mission they already make it so during certain missions they won’t blow up. If they were to bring back the suspension and soft body from 4 and mix the sense of speed from both, leave bikes alone for the most part, allow us to flip our car over and keep the downforce physics. This game isn’t a driving simulator but should have realistic elements that will still affect the cars handling, I choose to play gta so I’m not playing the arcade feeling nfs, not playing forza for the car to feel like I’m actually driving it, I’m not playing beam ng so I can crash and then have to get a new car, and not playing cod because I actually want to drive, it’s not a game only about cars but yes there a big part of it.
To be honest, I think it would just be nice to at least have an option either the Settings menu or at least before you start up the game it gives you a setting where if you want more realism like physics like in GTA four or to have a more arcade style physics, like GTA five
It doesn’t have to be two physics engines, just one in which the basic common cars handle like GTA4 and the supercars tightened up like V (less arcade overall): more risk, more reward.
You can't go around a corner more than 15 mph in gta4 without the rear end slipping out , idk if you've ever rode a motorcycle or not but that's not realistic lol
Maybe they could add different driving modes for different players. Like an option in the setting where you can choose from arcade, simulation, or whatever the play wants. We could also change it whenever we want in the settings as well.
We need somewhere in between so the car doesn’t sway that much and have instant feedback when turning but remove the ability to control your vehicle when airborne or flipped but have it so if the engine is damaged the car no longer works
What if for story mode u can control how arcady or how realistic the cars are but for online its a good mix of both like having the less punishing damage model while also having the more active suspension or vice-versa
I think it would be a good idea to do difficulty modes that change if it is hyperrealistic, gunplay like tarkov, driving like beamng. Or a easy mode with everything arcade like gta5. Like java and bedrock, like easy and hard difficulty.
Gta 4 realism driving was more fun than doing the actual fighting not that gta 4 is boring but when i drive i have a lot of fun just for driving and taking turns in the streets
The reason behind gtav its car physics is stunt races. Rockstar had the cunning stunts update already in mind before they released the game in 2013. The sluggish gta4 physics could't do loops, wallrides, jumps etc etc. That will also be with gta6. Gta5 is the only game were such races could be made by the community and to be working perfectly fine.
:'( i don't play gta to play those things... the game where the car is a dart or like shuffle board is fun but that would be fine with beam ng physi cs
I think a good mix of both would be perfect. Gta 4 really captured the body roll and crash physics while gta 5 felt overall better. If the more basic cars had body roll but the higher end and sporty cars had alot less it would make different cars feel.. well different. Gta 4s realistic car damage is top tier!
Bike riding in Gta 4 was the best ever! You could do whatever you wanted with the bike and even drift with it. How is it possible that riding bikes in Gta San Andreas is more realistic than in Gta 5?
Regarding destruction physics, the game could have a somewhat realistic destruction system without impacting the handling of vehicles, we can take Burnout Paradise for example, where the game has a very arcade driving physics but a very advanced destruction, you could do multiple barrel rolls, resulting in having the car completly deformed with even wheele axles decenterd, it doesn't impact the driving at all, would imagine GTA6 having a similar system
Tbu I think they should add the function where you have to fill gas or diesel on vechical. Makes it more realistic. Or have a setting in the menu to make the world more realistic or change to casual play.
I feel like if they do realistic car damage (which i hope), they should add a roll cage upgrade system, 20%-100%. Like the engine or brake upgrades. I think the 100% could support the more arcade like features like in gta 5, whilst anything lower would result in more damage when taking harder hits🤷♂️

I think they should have a mode for where during missions you can pick weather the damage is realistic and arcade, and depending on what you pick can change the amount of money you make. Say if you pick realistic damage you get more money since it's another layer of difficulty
for how long we have to wait there better be a realism option
halfway through the video, and youve only talked about gta 4 and 5, is this meant to be about gta6 or no?
A lot of people don't know that niko could shoot himself if he fell with a gun in his hand
Yap yap I wonder what you're going to do on GTA6 releases is your channel going to be wraps i hope it is
Sliding around corners in gta was different
I saw that ass clapping in the trailer I knew the physics are going to be good 😂
Noobs: Prefer gta V Car Physics
Pro: Prefer GTA IV Car Physics
It is as simple as that.
Yup
there are trade-offs which can be made here.
Cool, hopefully this system will ACTUALLY FORCE PEOPLE TO ACTUALLY DRIVE AND TRY NOT TO CRASH. smh.
I bet a lot of people forgot that gta5 use to have better car destruction back when it originally released, they toned it down when they added first person
Bro, only option is go for realistic destruction mechanics and everyone for themselves adjust intesivness. If you're in races or multi-player missions this value is set by host or votes.
What's the song used in 5:17 ?
Roubaram meu pau - Rogério Skylab
Cadê meu pau - Skylab
Cadê meu p.au - Skylab
It took me 3 minutes to realize he’s just yapping 💀
They should add realism and arcade physics and driving that way everyone's happy.
What are the shaders u used
i should hope that not just the car physics but all the physics and game mechanics will be better than games that came out over 10 years ago
It would be interesting having the vehicle damage being realistic by having it at a higher difficulty level
Imagine having destruction on buildings.. like battlefield? Or tear down? Bro imagine turning vice into an apocalyptic abandoned city
To be honest, I think it would just be nice to at least have an option either the Settings menu or at least before you start up the game it gives you a setting where if you want more realism like physics like in GTA four or to have a more arcade style physics, like GTA five
I hope for simulation car phisics, and a soft body phisics somewhat simillar to beamng
GTA 5 feels like you’re controlling a stupid little toy car.
Gta isn't a fucking car game
@@kurozikoasu1887 you’re a f**king moron. It’s called Grand Theft Auto. Dumbass. And that’s besides the point you clown.
Would be cool to see default car physics something like GTA 4, but when you upgrade vehicle suspension, then driving would behave similar to GTA 5
It doesn’t have to be two physics engines, just one in which the basic common cars handle like GTA4 and the supercars tightened up like V (less arcade overall): more risk, more reward.
The best solution to this is to satisfy both sides, make the option to both realistic driving and arcadey driving in the settings
Would be pretty cool implementing gas.. having to go fill up and stuff... also is luv to see us being able to buy a ranch
The motorcycle mechanics definitely did not improve. They feel way too light and boring in GTA V. Motorcycles are heavy and feel way better in GTA IV.
You can't go around a corner more than 15 mph in gta4 without the rear end slipping out , idk if you've ever rode a motorcycle or not but that's not realistic lol
@@Cold_Cactus Who said anything about realism or cares about it. People just want fun and satisfying physics and GTA IV had that.
@@wackoguide The GTA 4 motorcycle physics aren't fun
I don’t care as much for realism as long as it FEELS fun to play..
Maybe they could add different driving modes for different players. Like an option in the setting where you can choose from arcade, simulation, or whatever the play wants. We could also change it whenever we want in the settings as well.
Physics could never be like beam ng would make completing missions to tough one crash yo car done
Everyone wants realism until you play online and your car becomes undrievable after you crash once while getting chased
I agree
Learn to drive 😂😂😂
bro there needs to be a challenge... that's what a game is about
The thumbnail is a little sus, but the quality of the content and the narration is great. Worthy of a like.
There should be arcade normal and ultra realistic modes
They should do what Mafia 2 did and allow you to repair your vehicle once it breaks down
It’s simple: GTA IV was more physics than graphics while GTA V was graphics than physics
My favorite thing to do in gta 4 was doing rolling burnouts on motorcycles when you leaned forward
We need somewhere in between so the car doesn’t sway that much and have instant feedback when turning but remove the ability to control your vehicle when airborne or flipped but have it so if the engine is damaged the car no longer works
Realism means you die more often, and any missions, including any chases, probably become a pain in the ass to finish.
Like java and bedrock, like easy and hard difficulty.
so whats the leak again?
Gta 4 realism driving was more fun than doing the actual fighting not that gta 4 is boring but when i drive i have a lot of fun just for driving and taking turns in the streets
In some sentences, you literally copy word for word from what Dark Space said.
To save everyone 10 minutes of their time. There are no leaks for GTA6 driving.
The only physics i care about is that jiggle, I'm going directly to the strip when it's released
