Yours is the only RUclips channel I have seen documenting a renovation on Madeira, and I am loving being able to see the journey you are on! We spent last summer in Madeira and would love to come back to purchase a property but managing a renovation would be daunting.

How could a door panel pop out so easily? Was it missing a part or installed incorrectly? Amazed it didn't shatter when it fell out. Best of luck!
Hey thanks for watching to the end! It appears the installation wasn’t finished, it needed mastic and more screws. We were amazed it didn’t shatter too! The boxes we put in front of the doors saved it 😍

Wow your house looks so beautiful ,you must be so proud . I'm from Madeira living in Jersey channel islands. We have our house there as well here in Jersey , the one we get here need it a full renovation , it's been a very busy 4 years but so rewarding. So jealous of your sliding doors and your sea views .

Wow thank you so much for sharing the good and the bad, I am 6 months away before I will start my project and was wondering if it will worth getting the windows done here in Uk and ship over with a containers later as I can actually bespoke and fit my own windows and door, out of curiosity will you later share any cost? many thanks
Hey thanks for watching! It’s useful you can do some work yourself and we can share ball park figures but not sure it will help much as there are so many variables to consider. It’s worth mentioning also our neighbours renovated themselves and their windows were a lot cheaper than ours so there is choice here. Just a thought but we had 2 blown planes of glass, what would happen if you bring your own would you have guarantees? Hope that helps? Where on Madeira is your property? 💚
@@ourbrightjourney thank you for the reply, this is the point , I am able to build my own furniture, doors, windows and main building, I will be my own guarantee , I have pushed my project to October time as it's not easy to find a house to rent, but as much as I can find raw materials I am good to go. ... Your videos are very handy, thank you again
