I’m Rae and this is my Dad and Stepmom flying in from England to Madeira earlier this year to spend 11 days with us. Living here gives us the opportunity to share this beautiful island with our family and we knew we would be able to make some special memories showing them our favourite places. My Dad is 86 and my stepmom kathy is 82 and the last time they came to Madeira they were about our age and enjoyed Levada walks and found the hilly terrain no problem. I agree with your dad it is a lot like La Gomera, another beautiful place. BTW there’s another RUclipsr called ‘living in madeira’ who has bought a house and needs to find a good builder, you guys should reach out to her, she seems cool :)
