Ding-a-ling hit. It is amazing the transformation as the videos go on. It is the first time I see a car port with glass for the roof, very interesting. I just don’t want to be the one cleaning it up 😀

What a wonderful restoration so far! If you don't mind my asking, are you finding the range of the mini ev sufficient to get around the island without needing to charge away from home? I am considering the mini ev, bmw i3s, or model 3 once I move to Madeira this September. The mini has the most character and fun factor imo, plus is a great size for the island, I just worry about a bit about the range.
Hello, great question! We have found the Mini Electric to be perfect for us, it is everything we expected it would be. We get around 189 kms when fully charged and have never charged it away from home. The beauty of Madeira is the warm weather provides an improved range and of course you recover energy through regenerative braking. It is especially useful on steep hills as you recover more energy on the way back down! We are always surprised to see the high level of recovery we achieve. Of course this is our own experience but I hope that helps.
