I would add look into a credit union, you tend to get lower interest rates and you can get pre-approved so you know how much bike you can actually buy.
How much do you think you have to negotiate on say a 14k bike. I'm kind of interested in the Softail Standard in the future and would like an idea of where to start negotiating? Subscribed also
@@TheTwoWheeledTeacher don't even have a license yet but have been looking and researching bikes for when I do. I plan to buy a cheap one to ride until I get the hang of riding down pretty well then would like to get a Softail Standard. I plan on putting like 4k down on the bike. I am just curious about where to start negotiating out the door price.
So if you’re just coming in with cash, and assuming you want to buy a Harley, I’d recommend a Dyna of some sort. I actually just shot a video today on a wide glide; and I truly believe that the dyna was the best first bike I NBC oils have asked for. Lighter frame, the big V-twin, and a frame that will fit basically anyone. You can find dynas for as little as 5-6k, and they’ll still run for years with basic maintenance. No need for a start bike. Get your endorsement and find a dyna to throw your leg over.
@@TheTwoWheeledTeacher ok cool I will check into them I have a small inseam also so I want to make sure the bike fits also. Thanks for your help and advice.
I wear a 30” inseam myself. I had a super glide which had mid mount controls, and it fit me perfectly. A super glide or Dyna street Bob with footboards would be perfect.

Absolutely!

Thanks for the view and the question Doug. Tell me more about your trade and/buying disposition.

But if I'm a new rider fresh after MSF course and basically afraid to test ride any bike because of lack of experience then what should I do?
