i dont know nothing about bikes like these people. but i have done this to my harley sportster. like the speedometer, and taillight tag relocation, there are kits for that. you will have to cut your own rear fender up, or buy one, you can keep the stock tank and buy a 2 inch lift kit, handle bars and controls are easy. but you have to make sure you get new throttle, break and clutch cables to fit the size of and new length of your handlebars. all it really is, is time. but you can do one thing at a time as you get the money. and before long bobber.
buy the bike and buy the manual. the Harley manuals tell you literally everythin you need to know in order to take a that specific bike apa rt, fix it and put it back together. theres also youtube and to be honest i find things come easy when i get over my fear of screwing something up and then just doing it.

It doesn't get any better that that. You used top notch quality material and fabricated very precises brackets and parts. Congrats. People of the internet should use your video as an how to properly built a Bobber. René from Québec Canada.
I been doing this 38+ yrs. It's epic to see a younger generation executing excellent build skills & welding to match. My utmost respect goes out to you sir.
really nice one mate, good welding skills too! that bracing bracket for the battery even with the drilled holes can hold together the Forth Road Bridge! let alone two threaded rods and the the battery down \m/! It is 5:30 in the morning in Scoland, came home a coouple of hours ago, watced this video that pop up, finished my drink and going to bed. One of the best bedtime stories ever -was this vid. Great built! Cheers for that mate. Inspired me to go for a ride tommrow!
Sweet build man! Makes me miss my ol hardtail sporty I’d like to see a walk around of bar set up springer length and all the ins and outs it’s killer keep up the bad ass work
Even though we don't celebrate christmas here where I live, a big THANK YOU for pooping in my recommendations and giving such a beautiful christmans and new year gift!! Also, A very happy New Year to you!
My friend, your work is amazing, please keep making sensational motorcycles, I am a big fan of bobbers, especially Harleys, and with the springer hub it is spectacular, please excuse me, I don't speak English and use Google Translator to write
@@Ed_the_Brit yeah, on the streets ;-) But first I have to finish it. Videos such as yours light up the fires, it sat for 4 or 5 years now, but I'm building again !
This vid made me regain so much confidence and trust in myself to finish my Night Rod Special build this winter/spring! Not anywhere near the levels of building and fabrication that you demonstrate in this video, but the bike is basically tore down to frame and motor right now. Waiting for parts to arrive before coating, paint and finally assembly! Love the content, subbed. Cheers mate!
Thanks dude I really appreciate the support. I'm glad it gave you motivation to get back on it and waiting for parts sucks! No matter how hard you try youre always missing something lol Keep at it and you'll be riding it this summer!
Amazing work, and so satisfying to watch a master at work! Can't believe you've had a few negative comments. I get a few on my channel - don't even bother replying. Jealous people with zero talent. Can't wait for the next vid! Keep up the great work 😃👍 (and I've obviously subscribed 😁)

That battery strap is way oversized sir! Good on ya! Pure chopper stuff right here. When you pulled the 1/2" material out I thought you were gonna make something wild, but nope, just the mildest bit of the build.
Having ridden for 53 years, there is no way in hell I would eliminate rear suspension from a bike for looks. A hard tail is a kidney and back destroyer. Even my old 46 knuckle has suspension in the seat post. You went from a functional bike to one that can only be ridden for short trips. Those little springs on the seat aren’t even as good as 1946 technology. That’s why they make soft tails.
