In 1980 an old fella came up to me and checked out my new Fatbob Superglide. Scratching his grey bristles, he commented how much Harleys had changed since he had his ex-military WLA back in the day.
After watching this latest release, I’m now the one who is scratching his grey whiskers and wondering the same!
This! ☝👍
Wonderful Comment
amazing how life comes around, after 40+ years

“The customization that you don’t see with any other adventure bike”. That guy hasn’t been around many adv bikes. 🤦🏻♂️
And 29ish thousand for the CVO PanAm (well over 30 out the door where I am) is pretty darn expensive. Only others at that price that come to mind are loaded 1250GS and v4 Multistrada--not sure how big the market will be for H-D in that space.. but might be surprised haha
@@ThisCloseBandEspecially with that Pan America’s known unreliability.
I mean there's people making pan america into an fxr, you don't see any 1250GS being customized into r75/5 right? I think that's what he meant
ADV Bikes are some of the most customized, people are riding them around the world. lol
@@yurismono Correct. Most, if not all GS owners aren’t going to make their bikes less capable by converting it to a cruiser. They would probably buy a dedicated machine.
The road glide ad brought tears into my eyes 😢. I miss you, dad! I am a first-time HD owner with my Sportster S. This feeling, this community is why I love riding a Harley. I hope my son will one day lead the ride. Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧!

I think the redesigned batwing is actually very subtle, nice change.
I like the new batwing design. Not a big fan of the new road glide fairing
For the Street Glide yes, the Road Glide is horrendous

"The crown jewel is the display" for the last 100 years the crown jewel of a Harley Davidson was the engine. I think some have forgotten that, but I'll just keep buying pre 2k bikes.
*In 10 years, those crown jewels won't look as pretty.*
I have a twin cam 96cui that i love. Honestly not a fan of the m8 though

My last new HD was `16 Street Glide Special. Wholesaled it to buy my `18 F 150. I`m happy with my `90 FXSTS and my pick up. I like compensator sprockets that work and reliable primary chain.

The lowrider S and the Street Bob are still my favorite modern Harley’s.
the only nice bikes in the line up really
I had a 96 dyna wide glide, first new Harley I bought after 90,000 miles bought a new softail standard, wish I still had a real Harley . New ones do not excite me!

@@lcdubs7847not quite, just traded my 22 street bob for a 24 street glide. I took one look at it, couldn’t keep my eyes off of it, took it home the next day. The new street glides are beautiful. I don’t miss my street bob one bit.

Harley - I just don’t get the need for a computer screen on these bikes. I’m 52yr old Engineer, been riding 40yrs. Woods and MX before transition to street. Harley’s most of my adult life. Don’t get the computer screens on everything. Why Harley did away with the Chrome Road King standard. I’m just glad there are plenty of used HD’s out there to keep me happy.

Gotta say, I am a little underwhelmed. No 975 Pan America, got rid of the Street Glide ST, and how many Road Glide varients do you really need?
Since 2017 I've seen less and less from HD that I would buy. Looks like another year that I won't be trading in.

This feels like a kick in the teeth for every day Harley riders. A big bluster over yet more crazily overpriced increasingly out of reach toys for the rich. Once upon a time, Harley knew how to engage new blood and encourage new riders into the fold, with a range of attractive, fun, customisable Sportster models, and made in the USA step up models like dynas and softails. Sadly the reliance on a shrinking demographic of people with enough spare cash to buy these big tourers is going to end in the demise of the Mo Co. The current two model “Sport” category is doing nothing but handing the baton on to the competition. As for the softails, why would I pay the best part of £20k for a Harley built in Thailand? It no wonder our local Indian Triumph and Royal Enfield dealers are doing so well whilst our closest Harley dealer is closing down. Time for a rethink Harley-Davidson, you’ve lost the plot!
The big corporate model is to sell fewer at a much higher profit. They see regular people as a waste of time. If you don't have $1000 to spend on an oil change and tune up they want you to leave.
My local HD dealer also sells Royal Enfield. Guess they need to capture those other customers somehow.

Love the new Street Glide, absolutely nailed it!
Is it just me, but I seem to prefer the original, rounded batwing fairing, without the angles. Also, whilst the new large digital screen is obviously quite impressive, I still like the nostalgic feel of the round dials. What would have been ideal for me would have been to see a slight increase in size of the current digital screen, whilst still keeping the old 4 analogue dials. But I guess I’m just an old bugger set in my ways.
I completely agree. I'm all for tech but when the new hi-fi screen just tries to replicate the old analogue gauges, the message is clear. Give me a great motor on two wheels, one that sounds great on a bike that feels & handles great and is cool by being simple. Now that's a bike.
People have their opinions expressed on various things. I just want to say the production quality on this video is extremely good.
Serious cheese 🧀
Why are they making all the motorcycles in this video sound like they have an aftermarket exhaust when in reality they sound like sewing machines out of the factory? Also, will these continue to eat oil? My 23 Lowrider ST consumes a quart every 1300 miles. Will I get reimbursed for the $400 I had to spend on a Trask transmission top cover to remedy the blow by?
that seems a bit excessive ?
@@scooternut7198I agree. 2023 Lowrider ST burns 1 quart of synthetic under 1500 miles and I ride pretty easy. I had to fork out $400 for a Trask transmission top cover to remedy blow by. I love my bike, it’s sexy, but I’m very disappointed and Harley says it’s normal.
I'm pretty sure they put the mic closer to the exhaust, but these bikes definitely sound this crisp on acceleration in the real world. I just can't hear much of my RH1250 because I have a tight helmet. May get an exhaust on her.
I can go 4000 miles before a oil change and not need to add a drop, because it does not leak or burn any drops. What do I ride? 2017 Victory Gunner. Polaris knows how to make em.
They need to develop and release the Bronx!
yes!!
Its the sportster s.
No Road King standard model for 2024 ?Disappointing. Cheers.

I believe it’s coming back in a few years with some updates I believe I’m not 100%
Another year no road king, no real Harley offered! BS
I agree. Harley’s best touring model is a standard road king. It’s just a timeless classic and will always look good.

I'm a Honda guy, but love all bikes. And I really like the look of these Road Glides and the Pan America. REALLY like the orange!
I always wonder why harley does what they do lately, i find it hard to believe that its demographic asks for more “tech” and screens when
The average customer can barely operate an iPhone as an owner of three street glides and 40 years old even I don’t want so much tech in my Harley
Any excuse just to raise the prices of the bikes!
They just lowered the Street Glide and Road Glide models to $25,999.@@Harleyxl1776 We would love to get you on one :)
@@Harleyxl1776 except they didn't
I agree. You get to a point where tech is distracting and frustrating. What happened to just going out and putting some mile on a bike. Half the time my Sena Bluetooth helmet has connection problems and I feel like throwing it in the trash.
@@jagjr6772 exactly! And the “tech” is really not tech i mean come on we have had screens like this for 20 yeara but its a good excuse to jack up the price! Which is what really annoys me
These bikes are aimed at an increasingly wealthy audience.
Some one has to pay for the production of these videos. Lol
Definitely who the hell can afford them
@@RoadGlider1839 Very few people
So what? Nowadays people think that companies have to sell exactly for them. If you can't buy, just don't do it.
No. They’re for an audience that works and produces something for the world. …not just clocks in and exists. They’re for the go-getters. If you can’t afford one, make a change. Join the military, go to a trade school or college, work harder than the next guy at the construction site and stay sober, save for a year or two on top of building good credit and put in a down payment.
If I can afford one as a disabled veteran working part time with 3 kids and a house, YOU can. Go get a CDL. It takes a month and you’ll start at a MINIMUM of 45k-50k/yr. …More like 65k+ and I live in low cost of living and pay Arkansas. I wanted a Harley with a sickness for years before I got mine. The ride is 100% worth the pain of the price.
“The dawn of a new era” I feel like they missed the mark on that one. The CVOs are amazing but realistically, the people who actually ride HDs can’t afford a bike at that price point. The street glide and road glide are nice but they honestly got a new fairing and infotainment. That doesn’t really scream “new era” I was really hoping we were gonna be blessed with a new model. I was really thinking they were gonna unveil the Bronx.
That last Road Glide ST looks so sick and fun!!!!!
I like the look, but why no bronx? Thats something i think would really sell well
I dont get the hype some of you are showing. I don't see anything new and exciting here. We all saw that pretty much last year with some subtle changes now and new names. And you guys act as if your minds are blown. Either you got some nice gifts waiting for you to say something to build up the hype or all got extreme low expectations. As a Harley enthusiast im not even 1% excited to see these bikes because its nothing we didn't already see, and i like my Harleys plain and simple. Like a blank canvas ready for the painter (owner) to work his magic (customize it). These bikes are the polar opposite of a blank canvas.
from what I can see is that they've enlarged the screens, and there are more leds... haha

The new CVO ST IS A BEAUTIFUL MACHINE! That’s what we want to see! Also, good stuff keeping the price of the CVO decent for what y’all did! I dig it!
The Streetglide looks great…well done Harley 🤘🏻
I’m gonna wait to trade up til the Chrome Road King comes back with that 117. I would love that engine and chassis minus the computer screen.
I think you knocked it out the park. The perfect amount of change. Not too drastic, not too boring. I finally got my first Harley last year, and I plan on getting many more over the next 40-50 years.
So you only previewed bikes most people can’t afford. Dawn of a new era showing old Harley clips. You MUST bring out new and more affordable bikes to gain market share to help the brand continue. A refined video for not refined company.
Good job Harley!
The future looks exciting!
I like how they keep the classic vibe from Harley as we know it (with the line of touring bikes) and still are able to make them contemporary and modern, certainly an appeal to the younger and newer generation of riders.
The new CVOs STs are game-changer with the new performance oriented features! I used to only like black as single-color bikes but the white CVO ST looks great!
😂
Yes at this rate within the next 10 years HD will have actually put LED lights on all their bikes and most bikes will have finally got updated suspension. Lets get real here. HD did create anything new here. They are just trying to play catch up with everyone else and while they do so a little they are still behind. But maybe someday all the bikes will premium parts to go alone with that premium price.
Indian(Polaris) is breathing down HD's neck and it shows. Competition breeds excellence.

Yeah. I was hoping this video would finally reveal it. Idk why Harley just seemingly makes everything more and more expensive. The people are asking for more affordable and diverse options.
Those CVO Sts look incredible. New RG and SG look stunning, can't wait to see those bikes in person. That little race at the end, well done 😂
Great video and bikes, just wish they sounded like that from the factory!
Prices down good . The problem with dealers is their own fiduciary management. When a dealer can sell all their bikes at MSRP, display the prices openly (Laidlaw for example ) and be straight with you that tells me there is mismanagement with most other dealers paying thousands over a bike already priced like a car.
Prices down ? If you want a black bike you gotta pay extra
What’s amazing is, 95% of Harley Davidson‘s ever manufactured since the company started in 1903 are still on the road today. The other 5%, they made it home.

I think the redesigned batwing is actually very subtle
I’ve ridden the entire west coast of America 🇺🇸 all three states bottom to top and back again twice on my Harley-Davidson. Excellent designs and direction 😎⚡️🤙
Was hoping for a Road King standard with 114 or a Road King ST looks like my cash is safe for another year.
I’m just glad they finally lowered the price of the street glide and road glide with all the new upgrades. We all know though, as soon as dealerships get their hands on them, they’re not gonna be selling for MSRP, and they have astronomical markup on the bikes. I just wish the 117 was VVT also.
Then they get to keep em… Too easy
Wait for 2025 leftovers
VERY impressive!! Love it!! More power, more tech, it's time for an upgrade.
On Saturday, 1/27 I'm happy to report I made the upgrade I mentioned 4 days ago. I purchased the 2024 Road Glide CVO in Legendary Orange from Levi at Suburban Harley Davidson just outside of Milwaukee. I couldn't believe Suburban HD had one on their floor and I found it!!! I'm taking delivery Monday morning. It's stunning and bad A$$!!! While I see criticism here and there on RUclips, I can tell everyone that I love my 2015 Ultra Limited, I love the little Iron 883 I bought last year for my wife and daughter to learn on, and I'm sure I'm going to love my first CVO. God Bless America, I can't wait for spring!!
Great job Harley, for the first time in a long time I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut and just admire the work....LOL! Damned now I want a CVO Pan America!!!!
I’m pretty excited about these new models. Looks cool to me 💯👍🏻🔥
So Beautiful!! So Wonderful!! This is the Real life!! Thank you harley!!
A CVO-FXST or a Super V-Rod with that new Pan American CVO motor is what I would purchase TODAY. Lean & low... I can dream. These commercials are well done.
Same exact chassis and a few more cubes and a bigger screen…… We want more hp and not over heat in grid lock traffic in Texas.
Cooling on the vvt motors is different if you actually look
They are beautiful, however HD must do something about the major problems in the new CVO models and do it quickly.
Feels like watching a PBS/Ken Burns/Peter Coyote documentary. 😂
I love Ken Burns Baseball documentary!!
Most of what I was hoping for with this year’s models turned out to be what was done. I wanted the new fairings to make their way down to the “regular” bikes. These fairings are a work of art and the infotainment center is light years ahead of what we’ve had for over 5 years. The lines on the body look great. The bigger displacement and more power is what we’ve wanted. The CVO Road Glide ST looks like it will be a phenomenal bike. The CVO Pan America was a great surprise. The Pan America itself is the best value with the most to offer. Then, the CVO version takes it to a whole new level. I already know one guy who wants to buy one of those.
Yessir, what an inspiring short movie, this is why ride a Harley…and King of the Baggers at the end..Team Screaming Eagle versus Team Vance & Hines❤❤🔥🔥🔥was already in love with the PanAm, but don’t tell that to my RoadGlide 😂💪🏼
Love the new styles! Thanks for the great video about the new bikes.
Really impressed with all the new 24 Model Year CVO 's , Street Glide and Road Glide models , particularly like the CVO Road Glide ST which has to be my must have bike for 2024. One other point I must congratulate H-D on is the outstanding quality of their launch videos, truly awesome.
Fit for TV celebrities. I recognized Mike Wolfe from American Pickers. I guess the lady is his wife?
I got a 2002 Roadking and I now look at it like a parent who just found out his child is a serial killer 🤮
When customization is the explanation for a CVO Pan America, so why then not bringing a new CVO Breakout?
That road glide st is sick, hopefully there's a street glide st when I win the lottery😮💨
AWESOME! Love the Whiskey Fire color, looks great!!!
These light stripes on the Street Glide fairing look so cheap and destroy the whole look...What were they thinking?
Some real odd design choices lately, aside from the leds you mentioned, the air filter cover looks like a cheap aftermarket part. They killed the signature double eye headlight of the Road Glide, too much electronic ( I don't care much for LCD screen, in the previous models at least we got the analog gauges), and they even stopped making the Road King standard.
Like the purity of the rounded batwing fairing - not so keen on the new ‘angled’ version. It seems to have lost something.
After seeing it in person, I like it. I will buy one within the next couple years, I'll likely wait til the inverted forks make it to the specials
They are just like new vehicles these days. Cheaper materials cheaper build cost and higher profits.
can't wait to work on the Road Glide ST, great job colleagues 🤝🏽
That CVO Pan is a goooooooo! So beautiful and deadly looking.
That last video was awasome!
Looks amazing, and I'm sure it rides just as well if not better! 🔥💯🙌🏾
Harley - Davidson is #1 !!
Hogspoli hitting Kyle's kill switch made the video for me, legitimately laughed on my first watch through. Great lineup Harley!
I can’t believe HD put the time into a CVO Pan Am, the bike that isn’t selling or can be purchased barely used with a few hundred miles on it for $10k under MSRP! Odd choices.. CVO owners will be upset they just paid $60k for all new a few months ago and now everyone can get the same look for almost half that.. crazy.
Maybe it doesn't sell where you live, but I've seen a ton of them. Kinda like the lowrider st. In rural areas I don't see many, but larger urban areas they sell like hotcakes
@@Axle-7the 7 or so dealers I follow and have visited usually have one over in the corner with a little display like a red headed step child. In the state of Pennsylvania across all the scenic byways I have seen two in the 5 or so years it has been out. It is more prevalent on HD endorsed social media than anywhere else. I have seen a number of them traded in at other brand dealers in the past few years, with 300 to 2200 miles on them.. usually listed for $15,999 or so.
@Kwhopperfan Again, I've seen many in the wild. Just because they don't sell in your part of the country doesn't mean they don't sell
@@Axle-7 well everyone is entitled to their opinion 👍🏼 in Pennsylvania one of the hottest spots for adventure motorcycles due to the crap roads and miles of state game land roads and the recent BDR routes added in im just surprised there isn’t more of them available and out on the roads. I’ll have to look up their sales figures.
Where are you from? and how many do you see regularly and for sale at your local dealers in your quad state region? It’d be interesting to compare stats.
@@Axle-7 sales numbers were 2,500 in 2022. That’s more than I would have thought, so about 50 per state. That’s more than likely why I’ve only seen 10 or 12 for sale and 2 or 3 out on the road. I’ve seen more Yamaha star ventures than that lol
I can't wait to test the CVO Pan America! Let's see if it can beat the almighty BMW GS!

I love that CVO Road Glide ST
Absolutely love it! That Road Glide ST is 🔥🔥🔥
Who, in their right mind, would take an over-priced CVO Pan America off road and risk scratches and dings? What a waste of money that would be!!
No one. Just like most of the BMW GS buyers. It supposed to compete with top BMW and Ducati ADVs I guess…
Harley finally gets it right!! Better products all around and lower pricing on the Road and Street Glides. Better late than never.
Really miss the old sportster line up, good price, great for riding in city traffic.
Did anyone anxiously awaiting the intro of new 2024 models really needing a refresher of the HD lifestyle ? Would of been nice to have a rundown of what’s new and improved on these bikes. Leaving it to retail staff who have little information to provide us doesn’t exactly excite me to replace my current bike. And what’s up with the Trikes, Limited and Ultra with the older design for 2024. Personally, I would of left the CVO’s with a unique front fairing to justify the price 😢and revealed another similar but different design for all the rest of the touring models. But hey, I’m not the one trying to run the company into the ground.
Freakin cool! Still knocking Polaris out of the park😂 Seems Harley is doing just fine with the modernization of these Road beasts!
What beautiful machines, their sound and design have always enchanted me.
Mike Wolfe really? Now I am for sure not drinking any more KoolAid
From what I see, my favorite bikes (RG ST/SG ST), that were already too expensive but reachable, are replaced with something more expensive that the majority of the audience will never be able to afford new. Excited for HD to release new bikes but this years releases took something expensive but reachable and made them impossible. ST's were $30k new plus all the fees that come with a new bike. Now that price is $43k plus fees???
I managed to pick up a brand new 2022 SG ST last year, just as the new 2023 models were with quite a decent bit of discount, just as the 2023s were hitting the showrooms. So glad I did as the new fairing doesn’t really do it for me. Yes, I’ll admit that the new DRLs are quite impressive, but to me it seems to have lost something?
50k out the door
@@fabiors10 and possibly more depending on the specific dealer fees. I don't deal with the closest dealer to me because a new bike isn't leaving with less than 10k added to the MSRP. It's insane.
These was showing a CVO ST. I haven’t checked the site but I’m sure the other STs are still there and probably cheaper than last year
@@gagehowell3566 This was showing all the new bike releases for 24. And anything returning was already updated on their site like last week. However there are no regular STs, unless they decide to release mid year. The only Grand American tourers both on the website and in all the leaked pamphlets over the last week show RK Special, SG, RG, RG Limited, Ultra Limited, CVO SG, CVO RG and CVO RG ST.

You know how to do marketing. Fantastic experience - I realized I am still boy and waiting for spring time now more than before
Majorly disappointed this year, was looking forward to affordable bikes for younger riders. And got the complete opposite
they already did 2 years ago called the nightster it only cost 1200
@@rileyrussell6080 the Nightster is just a sportster with a 6speed and it’s still over 13k out the door.
I was really hoping for the Bronx to help bring in younger riders. Instead we got seemingly more expensive models. I just don’t get it.
Oh yay going all liquid cooled in the new baggers. Now they can all look chunky together 😂
I like the new shark nose fairing on the Road Glide. I think its an improvement from previous models and I love the Street Glide but I must say, I am disappointed in HD for not really making any significant changes to current models other than some motor upgrades and more cosmetic changes. They make everyone wait until end of January to come up with a lackluster reveal. Also, I see too much emphasis being placed on CVO models when their sales pretty much suck. Most people cannot afford a CVO and even if they can, they won't buy one. I do appreciate the lower prices on some of the models though. I wish they would have brought back the Road King standard. Its such an iconic beauty!
I couldn't agree with you more. The road king standard is what bikes are all about (I do love my fairing for long rides tho). Also agree that these reveals are lackluster.
I don't think I was ready for how cool this is!
THIS! Ride with pride! Love the Road Glide
love the changes. guessing this is the last year for the Limit's fairings? might have to buy a Limited this year - i'm a fan of analog gauges and Skyline doesn't support Android ? Thats a huge miss - at least for me.
