I am a dairy farmer in NZ, and between 230 cows, we get an average of 20 lame cows a year. It's so cool to watch what you do, and to be honest, helps me do my job better!

Most of tbe hooves are decent & just need a quick trim. It's the few really nasty ones that can turn the stomach. But a few weeks of "Dr Pimple Popper" can harden the most delicate of stomachs.

Do cows experience the pins and needles feeling. When there legs are held up for a certain length of time?

Liked the marking pen as an aid to understanding things. Good point that the one claw that was dug out was a correct initial move but incomplete in that it wasn't further set-up to drain. Interesting you can note signs of contentment even in a crush. Nice. Yay for Craig advancing in his training.

Mr. Parker, Thanks so much for this wonderful service (your passion) that you provide.
I shoed horses a bit back in the 80s and I had no idea that bovine hoofs could be fixed this way!
Cows are lovely creatures and they deserve care for the wonderful products they give us.
Lastly, your crush-trailer is the most amazing machine I've seen. Did you have it built, or are they available on the market?
    Much respect from Georgia, U.S.A.
