    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
🔎 Today, we’re going to dive into 10 of the most harmful foods that people keep eating. Plus, we'll give you tips to satisfy cravings without putting your health at risk.
    7. Processed Meats:
Processed meats like bacon and hot dogs are classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the World Health Organization due to their nitrate content, which can lead to cancer-causing compounds and contribute to the stiffening of the arteries, increasing the risk of a heart attack.
It's best to limit or avoid processed meats and opt for organic and nitrate-free options instead.
    6. Deep Fried Foods: Deep-fried foods like French fries and fried chicken contain harmful compounds called AGEs, which cause inflammation and damage cells, and artery walls, and can lead to cancer, nervous system damage, liver and kidney damage, and heart disease.
Opt for healthier cooking methods like baking, roasting, boiling, or using an air fryer and experimenting with spices for added flavor.
    5. Refined Grains - Refined grains are a staple in modern diets but they are stripped of important nutrients such as fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
The lack of nutrients and the presence of empty carbohydrates can cause a spike in blood sugar levels, leading to a range of health problems such as heart disease and diabetes.
    4. Unnaturally Grown Animal Products - Consuming meat from grain-fed cows that have been raised in factory farms and fed genetically modified corn and soy can lead to an imbalance of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids, contributing to inflammation and various health problems such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, autoimmune diseases, and more.
    3. Trans fats - the worst type of fat, found in processed foods like crackers, cookies, and baked goods. Created through partial hydrogenation of liquid vegetable oils, which makes them more shelf-stable but harmful to health. They damage LDL cholesterol, weaken and damage artery walls, and increase the risk of diabetes and heart disease.
To avoid them, it is important to read food labels and identify foods that contain trans fats.
    2. Breakfast cereals - marketed as quick and healthy but often packed with sugar, refined grains, and harmful chemicals like artificial colors and preservatives. Alternatives such as eggs and soaked chia seeds are better sources of protein, vitamins, and minerals.
    1. Sugary drinks - regular consumption can lead to obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and cavities. A single can of soda contains over the daily recommended limit of sugar and fruit juices are also packed with sugar. Energy drinks are worse as they contain high levels of caffeine and sugar. Artificial sweeteners are also linked to the same diseases as regular sugar and can disrupt hormones and digestion.

The last time I saw my cardiologist -- three weeks ago -- he said what I ate didn't matter; it's mainly genetics. This is after I've had four heart attacks. I have been told so many contradictory things that I now believe nutritionists have no idea what they're talking about.

Most of them don´t. Thay just read what the book says and what are general recommendations are aka foodpyramid and that is horseshit.
And if your problem is genetic, it won´t help in your case propably at all. So if i would be on your shoes i would enjoy what ever i like. It wouldn´t propably matter anyway.

These foods are okay if eaten as part of a balanced diet, but not as a staple diet, which he doesn’t mention. It’s about balancing your diet and getting regular exercise, because of course if you sit around all day eating this kind of food and drinking sodas it’s going to have a detrimental effect on your health. Nothing wrong with refined carbs, or processed meat, cereals and fried food in moderation and that’s the key, just like alcohol. The problem is people live on this food their whole lives.

      No rice, potatoes flour.

Not all cardiac problems are caused by what we eat or drink and one thing videos like this don’t take into consideration is the fact that everybody’s different. I also bought buffalo once, and my husband didn't like it...I could stand it when I was able to eat barbeque sauce on it, but not without. For people who have a problem with digesting fiber, cauliflower rice is too much fiber at one time. I have never heard of Pumpkin flour, but I will look for it in the store and at least try once. Funny how these lists are all over the place, yet there are people eat these foods and have no health issues. It is really about how MUCH of these things a person eats as well as other lifestyle factors. Think back to when eggs were on the most dangerous foods list. First - no eggs at all. Then the whites were fine but not the yolks. Now eggs are fine. It is really back to moderation. If you eat like crap all the time and sit on your arse, you may end up with a lot health issues. But if you vary your diet and get up and move, you may be perfectly health. Let's not forget that appearances do not = healthiness.

There is an accumulative effect over time you are not considering. No doubt, moderation plays a role incompensating for the effects, but when the body is made to work harder for a longer time, it is more likely to wear out sooner and show the effect of working hard similar to machines which are used a lot versess those that are used less. One might say the body can heal itself where machines cannot, but the body healing slso shows the effects of this process in scar tissue or other effects. We should also acknowledge that certain compounds have the ability to accumulate within the body and the effects can become worse when levels increase past a certain level. There really are more factors to consider than to say moderation is all it takes to deal with the problems these foods may present.

Margarine was the way to go, This processed chemical is better for you than a natural food that has been around for centuries, and then decades later, our "experts" quietly tell us that, oops, we were wrong. Margarine is actually not very good for you. Our bad.
Natural fats and protein (beef, pork, bacon, chicken) are healthy and good. We need carbs in moderation. Go light on pasta and bread etc. I eat a lot of protein including eggs (lots of eggs) with occasional carbs and veggies and am non-diabetic and a slim 58 year old in excellent health.

Processed meats were said to be toxic back in the 1970's This has not changed. Fried foods were NEVER considered healthy. While its true that the story on eggs has been contradictory, it was more about the way they were prepaired than about their actual content. Grain was put on the menu of the average person because it was inexpensive sustenance and could keep cheap labor working. We are learning now that the consequences of this are a fatty liver. We feed junk to our farm animals which ends up in our system. Give SOME credit to science.

    Nitrates...
Guess where more nitrates are found than what's put into meat?
In your mouth. That's right, you have more nitrates in your mouth.
Its most important function is vasodilation, meaning it relaxes the inner muscles of the blood vessels, causing them to widen and increase circulation.
Nitric oxide production is essential for overall health because it allows blood, nutrients, and oxygen to travel to every part of your body effectively and efficiently.
The stiffening of the arteries comes from sugar and excessive carbohydrate consumption.
Eat more bacon or you opt for nitrate free bacon. It will not be nitrate free though. Celery powder is used instead of sodium nitrate. Guess what has nitrates in it, yep, celery powder. Many vegetables contain nitrates.

It's important to keep in mind that everyone's nutritional needs are unique and what works for one person may not work for another. The STANDARD AMERICAN DIET (which is also increasingly the "Standard WESTERN Diet" as well as the diet being very stupidly and illogically adopted and utilized by more and more non-Western countries around the world -leading to all kinds of medical conditions in populations of non-Western countries that didn't used to exist) is both 'aptly' and 'acronymically' called "S.A.D." by many leading nutrition experts: It truly is SAD and pathetic.
I used to enjoy the foods that most Americans still do eat and enjoy. Why did I become interested in nutrition and become a 'nutrition expert' and have mostly and largely forsaken eating too many burgers, pizzas, hot dogs, doughnuts, etc.?
I've long realized that I'm made differently than most people are: I'm much more intelligent, curious, and objective than are most other people.
Most Americans may never become either knowledgeable or curious in nutrition because they simply are biased and stupid. Long ago I had the notion that I had a lot in common with my fellow Americans and that we were largely the same or at the very least very 'similar': This notion has long been proven wrong...I am quite different than are most Americans or most people for that matter...
I often realize more and more with every passing day that I am of a different 'species,' altogether than are most 'humanoids.'
I find people to be overwhelmingly pathetic, inferior, and unintelligent...
Were this NOT the case, we would have very few problems of any kind on this planet; stupid people create and exacerbate problems and don't know how to solve them.
Americans and other "Westerners" eat a diet and enjoy foods that are the exact opposite of what was designed for the human body in terms of inducing health: Sugar, oils, refined grains, meats, dairy, etc. make up the bulk of the American diet. It is not coincidental that we have plethoras of physical maladies that are PREVENTABLE that other peoples in other countries who eat the opposite of what we do......do not have: Diabesity, strokes, cancers, heart disease, kidney failure, digestive problems, acne, dementia, alzheimers, and many other maladies.
These maladies are preventable and not the result of 'natural' aging. They're the result of a very stupid fallen country that has no clue about nutrition.
God put nearly all the 'health benefits' of foods into primarily 'plant foods.'
That's a "tough pill to swallow".......these are very "inconvenient truths".........but they are "truths," nonetheless...

I agree. But, isn't there a rule that states, 'Nothing is really bad for you, if you eat it in moderation'? Example, you can't have a sugary cereal for breakfast, you can't have that burger (grain-fed) for lunch, and you probably shouldn't eat that pizza for dinner. Bad example. People eat like that all the time. Maybe instead of the burger, they'll order a fried chicken sandwich. Instead of pizza, maybe some chicken fried rice with an egg roll. There are so few people, like you and me, that eat healthy food. I'm not big on fruit due to the high (naturally? occurring) sugar values. I eat them sometimes. I have cheat meals once in a while. I love a good cheeseburger (with all the toppings) and fries, but I only allow myself this indulgence once a month. I like fried chicken, but I only order it every 6 or 7 weeks. Mostly I eat boneless, skinless chicken thighs. Either baked, or sauteed in olive oil. I prefer frozen vegetables over fresh for the convenience. Baked potatoes (add-ons can become counter-productive), 100% whole wheat pasta, brown rice.
