A very small fraction of Nigerians live as large as people in some developed parts of the world such as Beverly Hills. However, it's often a shame that just few meters from these places are riddled with poverty. Thanks for the Video Steven.
I have seen similar situations in most countries that i know, for example, there is a district in Madrid (Tetuan), it's almost like this but the poor part is not that super slum like Makoko neighborhood. Also there's a neighborhood in Newark, one part of a street is affluent and the other is ghetto, i mean like real ghetto. I think we still need to do better in most part of the country though, lagos shouldn't be the main focus.
The people in beverly hills are also just a small fraction of the American population. When I went to LA I stayed in Santa Monica which is relatively good area but the gap between haves and have nots was so wide and at night hundreds of homeless people slept on the beach. When I stayed in Abuja there are very rich and very poor but I don't remember seeing even up to 5 homeless people on the streets. Even the almajiris get fed and have a place to lay their heads.

Nigerians do not own the most expensive mansions in Africa. Sure, they have some great houses and certain real estate developments. However, South Africa, in this case has the best, yet most expensive houses in the entire Africa.
You’re only showing Lagos as a portion of Nigerian wealth, and in South Africa there are many places to mention, rivalled by only a few places. Sandhurst, Umhlanga, Clifton Beach, Bantry Bay and Bishop’s Court are a few of these. Nigeria might have the biggest in the West, just not the entire Africa.
Nigerians claim everything my guy
Good Content Bro, Keep Up The Good Work.👍
Thanks, will do!
In south Africa u can buy all these houses for less than 10 million rands
Interesting
The thing that lets down Nigerian real estate is the landscaping. Is this not seen as important
Houses have no gardens?
🤣🤣🤣They dont apparently!! For them the mansion is more important. Poor taste if you ask me!
Nice videos of the year bros . good job you.
Hey men nice job, one of this best video I watched. Kudos
Yet Nigeria is the capital of poverty of the world
it the other way around. it your entire generation that is the capital of poverty of the world.
Saddist.. hw does that affect your own nation?
Guys calm down. I am a Nigerian!
Its wat its. I don't mean to paint the country black
@@abdulkarimabubakar3581 U see. That's why people said most Nigerian are ignorant. U hardly see other citizens from other countries spitting unnecesary talks about their country. My brother, no nation is free from poverty, unemployment or any other economic crisis, even the so called America have its shortcoming. If u have any negativity towards Nigeria, guy keep it to yourself i dont care if u are Nigeria or Congo. If u dont appreciate yourself nobody will. One love
@@abdulkarimabubakar3581 It is the truth lol. Whatever they say is irrelevant. Nigeria is showing very concerning trends.
Why in Dollars. We need to get our priorities right. Constant electricity and clean water should be a necessity and not for the criminals in power.
The channel is trying to give the value in dollars, because its targeted at the international audience. Not everyone can relate with the Naira.
I agree we need to do better with power and other social amenities too.
Fhmopufaley😭😒😖
@Askia arem you captured the positives of Nigeria aptly. Well done bro. It's not all about negative news.
@@efemzyekun900 thinking about it, that's true
@Askia arem you can't really compare lagos to Dubai......UAE(Dubai) citizens are not suffering......

thank you do much
These prices are insane I will take my money to South East Asia or Latin America you get more for your dollars plus good infrastructure like metro good hospitals am not hating just spending my dollars wisely
Is the indgenous people can afford it? No. Only the Wealth and the Foreigners investors. Very sad.!.
You don't really know Nigeria, what you see is all own by very rich indigenous people from the country. Please do your research about Nigeria, no white man will pour billions of dollars into such an unstable country. unlike some West African countries, Nigerian control their economy, 98% of all banks in the country are own by local Nigerians.
@@musakam i said only the wealthy and foreigners. I live in Nigeria the poverty is higher and riches also.what the wealthty does to improve the lives of the less fortunate? AT xmas some of them try to buy their way to heaven given some donations. Please i know Africa very well.
@@aniasacrario9993 you know Africa but not Nigeria get your facts right and on point.
I have visited 16 states in Nigeria plus the capital,i have fair enough insight of the activities of this States but as it stands i won't even dare "say" i know Nigeria very well, cause i still gat 20 states to go.
@@princeshima8883 very good keep on
Isn't that the same case with all cities around the world? They all have rich areas.
Great content
Politicians are not supposed to be the richest people in society
And yet they live in Nigeria...
Build the country and its reputation before million dollar homes.
That should be the location of Comming to America 3. It looks just like Zu moonda
Great Channel Man.. how do you get to shoot drone shots.. what is the process..
Thanks for watching..: not particular way.: I just go out and fly
Come on black people let’s make Africa a better place. Remember whatever the world has start with, it will end with. Black on top!!

Crazy wealth.
Do you live in Nigeria?
@@StevenNdukwu No, Maceió Brazil.
Good presentation

This may sound very strange but I find Makoko more interesting. It’s like a civilisation on to itself.
@Issie wizzie. YES! I have always been fascinated by videos of Makoko! Even though I pray I will never live in such a place.
I agree. More creativity and complexity in its structure than most of those so-called gated estates.
Most people living there don't enjoy it and would be happy to move out.
Kenya has left the room igweee
Nice video, keep it up.
Impressive 👌🏾
