Went to South Africa for the first time for the World Cup with my dad in 2010 when I was 14, the entire experience was amazing and birthed my love for Africa and it's people. I've been back to the country 3 times since and enjoyed every time. Yes the country has it's problems with racism, corruption, and development, like any other country, but my God South Africans are so beyond blessed I can't wait to bring my future children there. God bless South Africa.

Durban is a nice city, but you should have left Ghandi out of this video. Ghandi fought for Indians only. He hated Africans, and was planning war against Africans building an arsenal of weapons to annihilate south Africans. University of Ghana pulled his statue down because Ghandi was racist.

I was in Joburg during those days attending a course for 2 weeks never had a chance to get crash any match.

First visited South Africa in October 2021. Have been back since in January 2022, and my God the country is the most amazing place I’ve been and likely will ever go to. From Jozi, to Durban to Cape Town it’s the most magical place. No place is perfect, but if I were to name somewhere that would be as close to that, it would be my South Africa. Will be back many times during my life - I can be sure of that!

by far. I visited South Africa when I was very young, and after that, many places in the US didn't look so developed to me. I had to take special trips to special sites to be impressed. lol. As Wode Maya said, the cities can be compared to any developed city in the world.

It's so nice there and the living is so different then Cape Town for me
We can make a difference if we try, Africa is the heart of the world, no matter where the continent is coming from, but that is not where we going... we can change all that negative mentality that impacted the humankind and be indigenous as we are...All that will start with every black child, by knowing that your brother is your friend. so much respect for every black brother who bring up change. You guys are changing lives, so much love and respect for you... Africa is a home for everyone, "Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu" and as African for us, "It takes a village to raise a child"...Salute Black Child you matter, no matter the tone of your skin, but your brain is very clear as anybody else's. xoxo

People un the comments saying it was developed by colonizers.... wasn't your own country colonized? What are you doing to develop your own country since you are not a coloniser ? Why are you behind? Thank you Wode
That statement also bothers me..because from my understanding, only Ethiopia wasn't colonized.. So every other country was developed by colonisers.
Every country that is free of colonisers should be improving from where the colonisers left off..
And actually show the world that Africans are more than capable of developing their countries..
We should be looking at other African countries and seeing black excellence... Because i genuinely believe we as Africans are also capable..

There's something people are also refusing to give credit to.. As much as we complain about our government, Our black government has done a lot to improve the infrastructure and maintain it.. State owned entities like SANRAL are mandated to mantain and build road infrastructure..

That's Durban like I have never seen...I have only stopped by twice on a trip from Cape to the northernmost part of the Kruger National Park...(highly recommend). Will definitely spend some time next time, thanks Wode
