Thank you! This guy was my basketball hero growing up. He was before AI by a year and was an elite scorer AND playmaker. Being a lil guy myself, I could relate to his GIANT KILLER skills and play.
Man Stoudamire was my favorite PG his first few seasons in the league - he honestly did come into the league during the golden era of the PG position and got way overlooked...Also, didn’t help that he was in Toronto on an expansion team!
Mighty Mouse!! Stoudemire was naaaassssttyyyy. Being a Lakers fan, I hated the Blazers. Because they were so good, they made the lakers look like shit on those regular season games at Portland. But whenever lakers & blazers went to the playoffs......yeah
Being a blazer fan, i HATED the lakers haha. My grandfather was an LA county firefighter and die hard lakers fan. So many good memories of watching games and talking trash to each other. Good times :)
Wow. I forgot how much talent those Jailblazer teams had on them. Wallace, Stoudamire, Smith, Kerr, Pippen, Sabonis, Wells and more. Kind of a misaligned super team so to speak?
Marcus Camby was my DUDE at UMASS, and is a very underrated player in my opinion. Being from New England we have had our share of legit ballers come up in our colleges throughout the Northeast US, and Camby was one of my personal favorites. I saw Ray Allen and RIP Hamilton come up at UCONN as well, of course Luke Kechly in football at BC, and who could forget the great Doug Flutie?!! It is a secret ingredient in our water up here.......
As a kid growing up in Argentina, It was not easy to follow every game, so I focused on my favorite player: Scottie Pippen. When he joined the Blazers I was hooked! What a team that was!
Damon as a rookie with expansion team Raptors beat the Soincs on TNT tv game in 1995. Payton the DPOY could not handle or was not ready at best. One of only a few times the glove had trouble the entire season.
It's not correct to assume he would have played with Vince Carter and t Mac. If mighty mouse stayed there they may not have been in a position to pick them and may not have thought they needed them.
as a kid I admired him, he was my first basketball hero, until I met him. Arrogant, pompous. Infront of cameras he may appear nice and what not, but no.
...and us old-school basketball fans really appreciate your work,Sean David!
Respekt und Grüße!

Fun fact: Damon Stoudemire held the Blazer single game scoring record at 54, til Damian Lillard broke it... At least 6 times.
54 must be some record for other teams though yeah tons today are scoring highly.
I remember when he was rookie bro was dope.
Mighty mouse
He had a great rookie year. He went up against 72 win bulls and won. I’ll never forget that top of the key fade away three in mj’s face

Toronto 19 and 20
Portland 12 points and blunts I think he made himself overlooked?
@@mademoney864 agreed - he definitely didn’t help himself.

They were also way ahead of their time back then. Sabonis and Wallace were basically modern day bigs of today.
They were one quarter away from beating the Lakers in 2000 and likely beating the Pacers in the finals
@@animeguitarguy Yes, i remember. For some reason though they fell apart at the end?
Will never forget the blazers game 7 4th quarter meltdown, truly one for the ages.
This is a great channel. Thank you for what you do Sir.
Love it! He was always one of my favorite PGs growing up.
Sean, you make good case for “what if Damon Stoudamire had stuck around for Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady along with Marcus Camby?”
🤯🤯🤯
Would've Been A Dynasty!!! Thanks For That Bro....Made Me Sit Quiet And Imagine!!! WOW, WHAT COULD'VE BEEN 💯💯

Sean! i always forget to ask if its possible actually to make JAIL BLAZERS video :) or a Brandon Roy video :).... maybe someday
I wish you would have talked more about the details of his downfall instead of just saying he was a great player.
As a kid growing up in Argentina, It was not easy to follow every game, so I focused on my favorite player: Scottie Pippen. When he joined the Blazers I was hooked! What a team that was!
Same here, but from Australia.
I was confused for a second at 8:26. I forgot 2002 was the year the Hornets moved to New Orleans. I don't remember that Jail Blazer team playing them.
Having lived most of my life in Tucson, I'm truly excited for this clip!!!
Mighty Mouse was a quality player
Stoudemire is the reason I started playing basketball
U OF A! U OF A! U OF A!!!!!!! Thank you BTM 👍👍
D. Stoudamire + M. Camby + TMac + Vinsanity..that would have been a great 4 players for the raptors. but they all bounced..
The Jail Blazers were the best and coolest team ever!
The reason the league got real..
Portland always gets the best Dames.
This reminds me...we need a T-Mac Video.
One of my favorites.
I live in Tucson Lute Olson and 97 and 94-95 really turned u of a basketball around
Edited and still makes no sense...lol
Sean Elliott turned the program around

He would dominate today's game
Mighty Mouse.
Mighty Mouse....."Mouse in the house"
StoudAmire. Anyway, Great Job as always
Supposed Stoudemire Stays with the Raptors, they Have Marcus Camby, Carter, Tmac a Descent Raptors Team...
Arizona Wildcat! U of A!!! Much 💘
this use to be my playground
It's not correct to assume he would have played with Vince Carter and t Mac. If mighty mouse stayed there they may not have been in a position to pick them and may not have thought they needed them.
Trail Blazers!
Mighty Mouse!
Mighty Mouse was giving to the whole league sad for you youngsters you had to be there to see it . Short but was deadly
as a kid I admired him, he was my first basketball hero, until I met him. Arrogant, pompous. Infront of cameras he may appear nice and what not, but no.
He was dat dude
Whose Suns jersey is behind Sean?
🗣️ #MightyMouse🐭 #DamonStoudemire!
The ads is too much
Jordan is not the G.O.A.T!!!!
So what..
So what what?
Who is? Damon?
