I'm just now dropping in on a surfskate with C5 trucks but I'd like to try with the CX trucks. Have you done it? And do you have to lean in more with the CX? It just props the nose up really high 😕
Congratulations! Dropping in will definitely get you some speed with less effort. I have dropped in the bowl with CX trucks and they feel more stable than the Meraki trucks used in the video. The trick for me is to lean forward and look at where you want to go (look ahead) vs. looking down at the board. Both trucks prop the deck higher than standard ones, but like anything, you adapt and get used to it. Keep shredding!
