I had already been riding a skateboard for a few years so I picked it up fairly easy. The beauty of a ripstik is that you get the feel of a surf board and a snow board when riding. Hills are so fun just carving in and out is just so relaxing. Now I’m almost 30 with 2 kids and just bought a ripstik at a yard sale for 50¢ lol. My kids are so salty because I can ride it like a pro and they are still learning😂 Ripstik sums up my childhood really. The age of emerging technology yet things still required some effort and sweat. Now these kids just cruise on electric boards if they can get away from the internet long enough. Ya know, avoiding anything that requires any type of manual labor lmao

Eric Poon if you have enough practice you can do a lot of things skateboards can’t but there are also things a skateboarder can do that this can’t for isn’t ripstiks have a much sharper turning radius, but skateboards can backwards or forwards

I learned how to ride at 9 from a friends ripstik and I finally bought one 2 years ago but i don’t know any tricks yet, i bought one just to travel around. It’s really scary when you’re trying to stop from speeding on a hill so I’m currently working on that.

Well not really. Skating would be considered easy because of easy balance, but casterboarding is way easier because it's easier to turn and requires little effort to keep it going. It all depends on the person. If you got a caster board and just tried to ride it for a couple of hours straight, you will find that it is easier than a skateboard.
+BlaconandBiscuits skateboarding is easier bottom line, anything you wanna learn on the ripstik learn it on a skateboard first, because the skateboard has 4 wheels it acts as training wheels for anything you may want to learn on the ripstik.

I strait up killed my back wheel in 1 day, I went on amazon and just searched ripstik wheels and found some for like $20. If you have one of those mini ripstiks (if you don't know what I'm talking about then you probably don't have one) that are like 2 feet across or something, you might wanna just search ripstik mini wheels. Thats all I know
