- The Porsche 911 Speedster is a special model with a limited production of 1,948 units after the debut of the Porsche 356 Roadster in 1948 as the 70th anniversary model of Porsche.
The size of the car is 4562mm in length, 1852mm in width, 1250mm in height, and 2457mm in wheelbase, the same size as the 991.2 type GT3 except for the height.
The engine installed in the 991 Speedster is a 4-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine that produces 510ps/8400rpm, which is more powerful than the GT3, and a maximum torque of 470Nm/6250rpm.
The only transmission available for this engine was a 6-speed manual gearbox. The chassis comes standard with the same rear axle steering and PCCB brakes as the GT3.
And like the 911R, the weight has been thoroughly reduced, and dry carbon material is used for the bonnet hood, both front fenders, and the rear hood.
The roof adopts a lightweight manual soft top, the interior is simplified, and lightweight bucket seats with carbon shells are installed.
And the door opener uses the same string pull type as the 911R. In addition, a Speedster exclusive exhaust system that is 10kg lighter than GT3 is installed, and the vehicle weight has achieved 1465kg, and the power performance achieves 0-100km/h acceleration of 4 seconds or less and a maximum speed of over 310km/h.
What a luxurious sports car that you can enjoy the 911R itself with its lightweight bodywork, 6MT gearbox, tough Carrera 4 chassis, and 4LNA flat six, and enjoy the exhilarating open air and great sound. What else can you ask for?
