- I got to drive the Ferrari Roma on winding roads.
The "Ferrari ROMA" announced in November 2019 is a pure sports car with a coupe style equipped with a V-type 8-cylinder engine in the front midship. The chassis and components are shared with the previously debuted Portofino, but the interior packaging, which is expressed as "2 + coupe", is the Ferrari 250GT Pninfaria and Boano equipped with a V-type 12-cylinder engine in the front in the 1950s. As a result, it has succeeded in creating Jeanne and "ROMA" fans who are elegant adult sports cars with beautiful styling. The power unit is a V-type 8-cylinder DOHC twin turbo engine with a displacement of 3,855cc, and the maximum output is 620ps at 7,500rpm, and the maximum torque is 760Nm at 5,750rpm. The transmission is the latest 8-speed DCT installed in the SF90, and it is possible to switch between 5 driving modes with the "Manettino" on the steering wheel. It has an LCD screen display. The cockpit, designed to envelop you, is surrounded by high-quality leather and Alcantara, and is equipped with a liquid crystal panel in front of the passenger seat, along with a control panel placed above the center tunnel, air conditioning and navigation from the passenger side. , audio, etc. can be operated. The body size is 4,656mm in total length, 1,974mm in total width, 1,301mm in total height, and 2,670mm in wheelbase. I think it looks a little more compact because of the design with elegant lines. The ROMA is such an elegant FR sports car, but it is a "prancing horse" that exhibits high performance with a 0-100km/h acceleration of 3.0 seconds and a maximum speed of 340km/h. It is a pure Ferrari super sports car that requires a high level of skill.
