after owning it for 2 years 1.9 jtd 2004 i can confirm that 99% is true , but my car was booked for the scrap when i saved it and it was a very runned down and abused , i payed 400 euros for it and i still daily it to work with a commute of 50 km daily . Ever since i've owned it i had no problems with the engine or gearbox , but the suspension , electrical mishaps (windows , body control unit , central locking that doesn't work since i bought it , lights and various sensors ) and rust are a big problem for the gt , she has 271k km and like i said the engine is really robust

Brilliant - I love the idea of someone saving a car from the scrap yard! But I'm too useless to do it myself! Nice car to save as well, they have a great character.
