One thing you didn't mention with the Delta cards is the Status Boost. By simply holding one of those cards (Reserve, Platinum, or business equivalents) you get 2,500 MQD, or halfway to Silver Medallion status. They're also stackable, so if you have, for example, a business card as well as a personal, you start the year with Silver status.
Another note - you get 3 Choice Benefits at Diamond, not 2. You mentioned the 2 big ones IMHO value-wise, but there's also a possible 3rd. You can gift status to 2 people - Silver as a Platinum, Gold as a Diamond.
Thank you very much for the comparison - would definitely consider American if I were to leave Delta.

Glad you enjoyed it. I’ve loved my Delta status but American is really good as well.

If you want status, United’s for flyers; the others for buyers.

@@hughofIreland you are correct that United seems to care more about rewarding those who actually fly. I was Gold and Platinum with them for years. After Covid I felt their changes impacted me negatively.

AA Gold is 40K points for Gold, where did you see the 30K? I hold Platinum on AA, Silver on united and A-list preferred on Southwest Delta is my least traveled with only one flight this year due to cost, it met corporate cost guideline.

You said 40K but screen shot showed 30K

@@therewardsmaster977 Also don't forget AA Surveys. On random flights i will do those and I think i have earned like 500 Loyalty points for that. Its not much but when close to a tier up can help

@@ryanhedlund1830 Good point. I’ve done a few but am often frustrated with the time it takes for the points they give.

You said at least twice that American Airlines calls its upgraded economy "Comfort Plus". That's Delta, not American. I wish you success with your channel, but you need to review your vlogs for correctness before you post them.
