0:40 fun fact, David Neeleman actually had a part in all 3 airlines in this video, CEO and founder of Breeze, founder of JetBlue, and he co-founded morris air which was bought by Southwest. He also is the chairman and founder of Azul Airlines, and helped set up WestJet as well. All of them are pretty good airlines so we have a lot to thank him for in the industry.

I flew roundtrip on Southwest to Atlanta last week and it went fine. Never had a problem with Southwest so they are my favorite! It really boils down to the 3 free bags, free snacks, and free entertainment. Definitely wish they had more direct flights from DCA!
So do I! Unfortunately, it's the DC Airport Authority that controls how many flights any particular airline can operate out of DCA as well as the destinations. Dulles seems to be a bit of an anomaly for me, though...

Breeze just added more direct flights to Vero Beach, FL. People here LOVE to go out of Vero Beach. You walk in a small building and check-in, security and on the plane in literally 5 minutes. It's that fast. Now they just announced they are adding New Haven, CT and Newburgh, NY for direct flights to VB here in the fall. Huge news. I had a chance to go cross-continent and back on Breeze via an A220. Really loved it. Flew the extra leg room out and "ascent" on the way back. One of my friends (and former coworker) is the Manager for Breeze at SNA. I love A220's as well and hope to fly Breeze soon. I'm looking forward to Southwest's seating changes because yes, I hate that anxiety too. My preferred airline is American but I'm starting to fly United more.
Now what I'm going to do is get a bus, to get a train, to get another bus, to go to a cinema, to watch a film I've seen dozens, multiple dozens, of times! No one needed that information on the internet, but it's certainly less offensive than most. Be like Jeb and Suzanne (apologies if the name is spelt wrongly), Be polite, positive and honest... Really hope I don't meet them and they turn out to be overworked, stressed and cranky like the rest of us! ;)
This was awesome! We have Breeze and Allegiant (and AA coming soon) at our small regional airport, and I definitely prefer Breeze. I've been very happy with Breeze. It's better compared against the ultra-low cost carriers like Spirit, Allegiant, and Frontier. Imo, Breeze wins hands down! With the add-ons, I was surprised to see how similar in price Breeze was to the others. Southwest and Jetblue are more similar to legacy airlines than Breeze. Your flight on JetBlue actually looked like a Delta flight! (TV, internet, choice of snacks, etc). Where I'm from, SW and JB are sometimes less expensive than American or Delta, but not always. But, I'll be sure to look at JetBlue more closely, especially if I can get a similar experience for a little cheaper! Thank you for sharing!
When I was traveling for work, I was a big southwest flier, I was close to a million miles with them. The best seating is actually row 5 as the front of the plane tapers in at the front row 4 is good if you don’t want a window (it’s a pillar )and lean on bulkhead for sleeping. Also if SW wasn’t available JetBlue was my backup airline. Thanks for a current review, haven’t flown in 2020.
I never thought I would see the day someone would choose to fly to my home state of Rhode Island, but here we are. Hope you enjoyed the cozy little airport, it's really the best we got to offer to anyone coming in from the outside :)
Flew Breeze from LAS to BDL with a Breeze Thru Option. It was a great time! My MIL flys them all the time using the barebones service and she likes it alot!
Jeb I love your videos so much! I want to always keep watching and hope you never stop posting. My home airport is CVG so maybe if you could do another video based around that…. I would love it! Anyway thanks so much for posting keep it up!
For me Southwest is hands down the best. Several years ago my mom and I flew Southwest to go be with my sister, when her son passed away, and when the crew found out why we were flying that day, they were all so kind to my mom and I.
I haven't heard much about Breeze (they don't have many flights out of SFO) so I definitely appreciate seeing this review! I tend to prefer Alaska Airlines from my home airport.
I can always count on you to introduce me to something new in the flying industry. Breeze seems a step above those other cheap airlines because of the seating.
I have a weirdly nostalgic fondness for Southwest Airlines. The airline is beyond bare bones, but that also gives it a sort of charm. My family flew Southwest pretty much exclusively when I was growing up, and then I kept on flying them because free checked bags came in handy as a college student toting stuff between campus and home. I looked forward to spending a couple of hours thumbing through Sky Mall (RIP) and sipping slightly flat ginger ale.
Flew Breeze from Springfield, IL to Orlando for the first time. Plane was new and seats were nice. We also didn’t have Wi-Fi. For other trips I always fly Southwest, the free checked bags is the main draw.
As a former ground crewman for WN, I can say that I'm impressed with the comparison between all three carriers. During my 20 year career with Southwest, I have seen it all from the famed 10-minute turnaround to 9/11 to rapid expansions via code-shares and acquisitions (ATA followed by AirTran). I can say with 100% honesty that I do miss the wildly fun atmosphere of WN because having fun at work is ingrained in the culture. I have seen similar work crews at the other airlines, and I do believe that certain airports/stations have different workplace cultures than others. All that being said, Bags Fly Free and fun flights are the way to go regardless of seat size. What I do lament is the club-style seating on the former -200s/-300s/-500s in the fleet (front two rows, over-wing rows and far aft cabin rows were all aligned so that you would have a chance to fly "backwards" as if you were on a private jet). Good times! :) Thanks for all you do, Jeb and Suzanne!
I love Jeb's reviews - always great to see him at my home airport (BOS) Personally, for Domestic flights I always book JetBlue, even if there isn't a direct route, which is seldom the case, and it's such a great value/product, and starting after labor day Blue basic will also include a carry on bag
I fly Breeze frequently. I’m 1K on United, but Breeze is way less expensive. I only fly business class. Breeze is waaaay better than United. I can fly direct to Orlando, LA, Vegas, and Tampa. The Captains are all very experienced and come from the major airlines. Wi-Fi is spotty for now. The service is outstanding. The schedule is not frequent enough for business travels though. They are being conservative to ensure they don’t go bust by overreaching. The A220 is one of the most beautiful airplanes ever. I give it a 9/10.
Love how both the Breeze and JetBlue planes have USB-C ports in addition to USB-A. Also Southwest is planning on installing USB ports (both A and C) for in-seat power as well. Kinda hoping more airlines install USB-C ports as planes get refurbished or delivered so I can stop carrying a USB-C to A cable and embrace the one cable lifestyle.
I just got back from a trip to and from BWI on WN and both were MAX8. Trip in had no power at the seats but the trip back did. I think they are making a huge mistake getting rid of their boarding process and going to assigned seats. I enjoy it way more because it’s faster to get on and off the plane most of the time. Plus, it’s unique and differentiating. The 24 hour before check in time isn’t that stressful, IMO. WN’s real differentiator though is their A+ ground game and fun crews for sure. Along with super consistent product; you always know what to expect. Everyone on the crew actually seems to be having fun at work.
Good to see you jump on the Moser and cie hype! You came in swinging with a banger! I think that’s the Streamliner blue enamel? This long with the lime green Endeavor you wore in the Hawaii video is just Chef’s kiss! How’s the new watch channel planning coming alone???😅
Soon enough all three of these airlines will be competing on flights to Orland from MHT, my local airport. This definitely helps me figure out which I would rather use.
Commenting before this this video starts. Southwest is my favorite airline. Granted I have never been on the other two in this video. Time to see if the RUclipsr agrees with me.
Jeb is pleasant by himself but Suzanne is such a great addition to the channel! Between her bubbly personality and her great beauty 😍 Southwest is my airline of choice because they were my first budget airline and I just stuck with them lol! But I have flown on JetBlue once....it was pretty good except the IFE at my seat didn't work. 🙂
I travelled extensively for business. All paid by my company. Food , alcohol, everything. I retired, quit drinking, started eating healthy. Your videos remind I made the right choice.
Southwest's "newer" planes also have spots to hold your phone in the headrest of the seat in front of you which actually works pretty well. It's also adjustable to even fit a tablet if you had one.
Nice one of the upgrade to the job score guys. I love the new ave now name ground game! Really spicing things up over here, turning on a few extra lights now eh ?! 😂
I like the premium add on for the near first-class seat on Breeze, Southwest has the best route network of them, but Jetblue seems to have the best overall product.
With southwest, I don't mind them adding assigned seats. Too many people took advantage of their early boarding services and open seating to get a better seat
I disagree with the upcoming change for Southwest seating system. I am very happy they are changing to the way most airlines assign seats. I have flow Southwest a few times and hated how long it took to get boarded and unboarding. I think the major issue is even though they provide the 2 bags check in system, Alot of people still choose to carry on bags (and large ones at that) and they end up being put in overhead bins in the back of the plane. The seem to think its ok to move the in the wrong direction to retreave their bags instead of waiting for others to get off.. I also figured out that between the cost of the flight and if you payed to upgrade your seating status it ends up being about the same cost as competitors that assign seats. Just a couple of points I noticed. Keep providing these very helpful videos. Love them.
155 views in 3 minutes, which means nobody has finished watching yet. :) Jeb I just purchased a Delta mileage run. TUS -> LAX -> SLC -> DTW -> ORD. 1 week in Chicago to attend the Retro Computer Festival and visit friends. Then ORD -> ATL -> TUS. WOOT!
Thanks for forgoing the first class experience to show us what normal economy is like on Breeze. They're the next airline I want to try out for my channel.
I love love love you are doing an economy comparison. Most you tubers concentrate on luxury. Sure it's fun to see but most of us will travel economy. Great comparison thank you
RE: Service, we fly Southwest mostly and recently they have been using the same tactic to avoid serving drinks. "Due to the short duration of the flight and turbulence, we will not be providing a beverage service" sounds more like a way to cut costs. Usually, those flights are smooth, non-turbulent.
Loved flying Jetblue recently from BOS, flight attendants were super friendly and the wifi was really fast too. I don't mind flying them transcontinental if they are giving a good price
This is the one I was waiting for since the first video where I found you. It was the ultra low cost airline video with Allegiant, Frontier, and Spirit almost a year ago back in September. You teased this idea in that video and I’ve been waiting for it since. I always fly Southwest, and I trust your opinions (plus I just like your videos in general) so I was eager to see how the others compared. Such a shame that you didn’t get to test out all the internet options and you didn’t get snacks from one of them. Felt tough to get the full experience of them all from this video, but that wasn’t your fault of course. The two of you were great in the video as always. Looking forward to the next one. Keep it up!
@@GreenerGrass always is. Like I said my only complaint was things out of your control, but not being served snacks on one and not being able to access WiFi on two of three flights made it tougher to get a better picture of all three. But again, you couldn’t help that. Hope you do a Southwest video when they change their boarding process. As always, keep up the good work. I often binge watch a lot of your videos when I’m about to travel because it gets me in the mood for vacation. Take care!

Really hope I don't meet them and they turn out to be overworked, stressed and cranky like the rest of us! ;)
Had to laugh about the “no service/turbulence/short flight” line. How many times I’ve heard that in the last three years!
It has been pretty frequent across all of the airlines…
Your the best aviation RUclipsr ever southwest is the main airline my family flies hope you have a great day your awesome
Yay Southwest!!!! Southwest is my favorite airline. Amazing video by the way I wish I could Do a video with you
I love the colors on the seats for Breeze!
I never thought I would see the day someone would choose to fly to my home state of Rhode Island, but here we are. Hope you enjoyed the cozy little airport, it's really the best we got to offer to anyone coming in from the outside :)
Haha same!!
With pay for carry on bag and pay for snacks..Breeze is giving Spirit vibes for sure 😂
I fly southwest, it’s a great airline. Also snacks are great in my opinion. (The pretzels are sooo good!)
For me Southwest is hands down the best. Several years ago my mom and I flew Southwest to go be with my sister, when her son passed away, and when the crew found out why we were flying that day, they were all so kind to my mom and I.
Yay! Been wanting this video! Love your content!
I haven't heard much about Breeze (they don't have many flights out of SFO) so I definitely appreciate seeing this review! I tend to prefer Alaska Airlines from my home airport.
I fly Southwest. They go where i go and two free checked bags and two free carryons. Jet blue looked tempting.
I can always count on you to introduce me to something new in the flying industry. Breeze seems a step above those other cheap airlines because of the seating.
Nothing is cheap at Southwest!
Breezes livery is looking nice
I have a weirdly nostalgic fondness for Southwest Airlines. The airline is beyond bare bones, but that also gives it a sort of charm. My family flew Southwest pretty much exclusively when I was growing up, and then I kept on flying them because free checked bags came in handy as a college student toting stuff between campus and home. I looked forward to spending a couple of hours thumbing through Sky Mall (RIP) and sipping slightly flat ginger ale.
JetBlue inflight here♥️ thanks for your review it makes me proud of our product and service
It’s an impressive product, but the people are what makes it!💙
Flew Breeze from Springfield, IL to Orlando for the first time.
Ground crew is the backbone to keeping things moving! Thanks for watching!
I love Jeb's reviews - always great to see him at my home airport (BOS)
Personally, for Domestic flights I always book JetBlue, even if there isn't a direct route, which is seldom the case, and it's such a great value/product, and starting after labor day Blue basic will also include a carry on bag
JetBlue also has a fairly decent loyalty program that isn't too difficult to redeem meaningful perks
Flew roundtrip from Long Island to Orlando on Southwest with an infant, one of the best flight experiences I’ve ever had.
Time to see if the RUclipsr agrees with me.
you’re literally my comfort person i love you kislux !
Jeb is pleasant by himself but Suzanne is such a great addition to the channel! Between her bubbly personality and her great beauty 😍
Southwest is my airline of choice because they were my first budget airline and I just stuck with them lol! But I have flown on JetBlue once....it was pretty good except the IFE at my seat didn't work. 🙂
“You look great!” During the bloopers 😂🥰
Never heard of breeze before, thanks for sharing the info!
😂
I’m so glad I found your channel. You’re perfect for traveling vlogging. Such a relaxing voice and high quality content.
I'm glad you did this! I am going to be trying JetBlue economy - cross country - for the first time. Happy to see they won the comfy seat title!
Have a wonderful trip! JetBlue is a good choice!
16:23 Hey, I can see my old house from here! Hope you enjoyed your time in Southwest Florida.
Love them.
Providence is my home airport thanks for visiting!
I Love JetBlue, their crew is always friendly and amazing and the amenities are great.
Love to see my home airport of RDU in a video!
WOOT!
I was happy to see you guys flying into RSW, it was my home airport growing up as a kid
Love the bloopers and for the record Suzanne always looks beautiful!
I’m glad he still uploads these comparisons!
Always like to see Southwest
TF Green is my home airport - hope you enjoyed your brief visit!
We flew from SFO to NYC ON jet Blue and I loved it and the leg room.
.
Thanks for forgoing the first class experience to show us what normal economy is like on Breeze. They're the next airline I want to try out for my channel.
We wanted to make it as fair of a comparison as possible!
From the UK flying southwest from Honolulu to hilo was tops for me on board service was fantastic lovely short flight!!
That’s a nice itinerary from RDU to PVD, BOS to ATL, and ATL to RSW.
Just a normal itinerary, right?🤣
Early (Hey Jet! Love the videos)
Keep it up!
One other thing to note: if you ask politely when you get your soda, Southwest will also give you the whole can. THE WHOLE CAN! FOR FREE! 10:08
😂
Hope it was worth the wait!
Take care!
We used to fly JetBlue to Long Beach all the time. We sure miss the bag of blue chips.
We have flown Breeze to John Wayne, and it been great. Just wish they had a free drink and snack like the others.
Nice that you flew into TF Green. Love that Airport.
We really enjoyed this! Thanks for comparing and sharing you two!! Love the bloopers! :)
I always get excited when I see a new Jeb video! Keep up the great work!!
