How to Enable Google Assistant on Any Android Smartphone (No Root)

- Google has started rolling out Google Assistant to smartphones running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and higher but if you cannot wait, we tell you a simple method on how you can enable Google Assistant on your Android smartphone. This method works without root access on your device.
We are demonstrating this video on a Moto G4 Plus running Android 7.0 Nougat. However, we have also tested the trick to get Google Assistant on Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, LeEco Le Max 2, and Galaxy S7.

after all this process go to play store and download google assistant but DONT OPEN IT and then go to google-settings- Now you will see there is another tab named settings under google assistant tab.And it is DONE just tap it and follow the video..Thanks

Ooh man a huge thanks for helping me now . 24/09/2019😅 its today and i have failed to get any help from RUclips up untill beebom. After my update to MIUI10 Google assistant doesn't accept my voice not even voice matching worked , i looked dozones of videos but they couldn't help. I was sure to giveup i was very frustated on miui/google (even send them a harsh feedback) , this video happened to be my last video then i would have gaveup and surprisingly it helped . So thankfully to you beebom . I couldn't believe that 2years old tech video could help in this 2019 years upgraded androids lol but it did thats what matters. Thanks again and keep making these vids.

when I headed to Google Assistant in Google settings.. it was already activated and after pressing the home button the result was negative.. ok Google Popping up😐

if you guys that not found google assistant setting heres the resolution...
*after join beta google service make sure its fully beta (not in progress)
*then pls make sure matching the email in google play and google app..(if the email in google app not same as in google play.. google astant seting will not showed)

youll just have to wait a few weeks dont download any apk or it will mess you up

change your language to English US then clear google app data followed by google play services data.

Question: Is the Google Assistant pre-installed now? Or do you still have to "install" it like this?
In pixel phones it was already there. Maybe also in some very recent other brand androids. But my samsung phone disnt come with one so i have to do all this.... if needed. Google search is enough tbh

Sorry, Costas, I don`t know. I was having the same problem of most of the people here and tried that. In my case (2 languages) it worked that way.

I fulfill all the conditions, Google App is on latest version, Play Services too, I'm beta tester of both, and my system language is English (US), though I haven't got Google Assistant.
Owen. - ̇uǝʍO Just go to the system language settings and change the language to an other language (like italian) then go to the google app, then exit, then go to the system language settings and choose Englis US and finally open google app and the "settings" option will appear (I mean, it worked for me)

hey I followed your steps for enabling google assistant on my lenovo k6 power and downloaded the apk file from your mentioned website...but after installing that apk my Google play services stopped working gmail, Hangout also stopped working....plz tell me the solution...asap...
