Shinedown is one of my favorite bands. They are a rarity, they can throw down serious rock and roll with anyone but they can really hit you in the feels with ballads that have heavy lyrics. I’m glad you enjoyed this!
Shinedown is an incredible band. Brent Smith is one of the best lead singers. Zach Myers is the guitarist,Eric Bass is the bassist and Barry Kerch is the drummer. Many of their songs deal with mental health issues. They currently hold the #1 spot on the active rock chart. I've been grateful to have met the band while shooting photos of their shows (I'm a photographer for a radio station). Super cool guys. They have so many great songs.
I just saw Shinedown 10/3 in Tennessee. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Suggest 2nd Chance, I’ll Follow You, Cut the Cord, A Symptom of Being Human. ❤️
Great reaction! Shinedown has been one of my favorite bands for many yrs now. Thank You for going down this road and making an old womans day. God Bless❤
As a father of a mentally ill 30 year old son whose life has completely went off the rails since being diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 20, my greatest fear is this exact thing, this song has me crying hysterically and deeply saddens me. I hope this song brings attention to suicide and that anyone under the right circumstances and hardships of life can consider it as a way out.
I’m watching you see this performance for the first time as am I and I feel every emotion your face showed. Thank you for this beautiful reaction hon. Well done.
I was honored to watch this the other day on Discord❤️🙏🏻 and it gets better each time I hear it! My favorite song by Shinedown so far! Very very powerful 🔥❤️💯🙏🏻.
At least he had friends who cared for him, but what do you say to those who don't have that. Unfortunately, I can't listen to this song without thinking of putting a 45 to my head and the story he told sure the hell didn't help, but whatever

Brent is a criminally underrated singer honestly. I've seen them in concert many times and he's just incredible. A true showman as well

Shinedown is such a relatable band. Mia checkout the simple man cover they did. Another great reaction.
If you want to know where that man is today.... He's standing on the stage! I feel like that is Brent!

Mia, you did it perfect, after the story, just listening to the song, and reading your thoughts was all we needed.

He was high af
He wasn't on drugs anymore but he did turn into an alcoholic so he wasn't sober in this performance. He has been sober for years now.

Just seen your comment and thought I would reach out. Please don't even think of doing anything like that!
