Fun in the garden -- you can always tell when you're really getting in the groove when you remove the jackets or sweaters. 👧🏾😁! It looks so much nicer and I'm sure it feels great. I've been doing the same with our nice weather lately. Got a long way to go but I'm getting there. Thanks for the inspiration. Love Rich in the garden and his comments (he's a hoot). Thanks for sharing.
Hello there, yes Richard is very funny and even getting more interested in gardening too 😊 yes it feels a lot tidier already, I think the key is a little bit here and there, little and often ... not a few hard hours once in a blue moon 🥰😎
Hopped on the treadmill and been having a wonderful time watching you two! 🤗💚 We got a couple of days of good weather (hope I don’t jinx us) lol but we have been doing a little here and there too out in the garden. Your husband reminds me of Ambrose walking the garden with his cup of coffee waiting while he has something cooking. I can cook but not to crazy about it rather garden 😆💚 . It’s been wonderful watching y’all! And loving the birds singing!!! 😃☕️💚
Oh Angie, it has taken Richard nearly 40 years to do any of the cooking 🤣🤣 now he thinks he knows it all! But I’m not complaining, I feel the same as you, I’m happily handing my kitchen over to him finally 🥰 happy gardening this weekend, oh and I love having you as my friend 🥰
I live in SE Texas and we went from having very spring like temperatures in the low to mid 20s to an artic blast of several days below 0 -- I think the coldest was -11. Where I live, it rarely falls below 0, and if it does, it is only for a few hours or so... needless to say, so much stuff is fried to a crisp, dead, or currently rotting. Many plants had already broken dormancy and starting to bloom or in bloom. Well, not anymore! I do not think we will get any shows from the oleander, azaleas, or gingers... luckily, the camellias had already gone through their peak blooming. For us, it will be a long wait and see what lives.
I know Fabdanc! I’ve been following your bizarre weather and freak snowstorms, it’s been incredible hasn’t it? It’s sad when plants don’t make it, but I always think a garden never stands still and is forever changing. It would be dull if they looked the same every year. So onwards and upwards I guess, sad as it may be. Possibilities for new things to try. Thanks so much for watching 🥰🥰
I can't wait to see your tulips. It looks more like spring here (sunny), but still cold. You got a great start on your "tidy", and the music was nice. Relaxing video for us...IMHO.
Hi Jeanette, looking forward to see your new garden soon! I live in Florida and today it was very hot and humid, so I had to water my garden twice but it is so rewarding to see the colors and the new babies coming. We love gardening!!
Hello there, my goodness it’s hard to imagine how hot it is for you over in Florida. This morning it is 4 degrees Celsius here and foggy. It’s so exciting Spring is almost here!! My tulips are beginning to poke through and I’ve just planted my first seeds!! Have a lovely week Ana Teresa 😊
I love how that table looks where you are doing the hardening off process, love all the colors! And omg that balsamic chicken with Brussels sounds DIVINE I am jealous 🤣 great work clearing up the garden!
Hello Tatiana and thank you! Richard built the potting table bench a few weeks ago and the top part was an old radiator. And the dinner was as nice as it sounded too 😊😊 thanks for watching 🥰
Hello Reema and thank you for watching. Yes a shame about the Dusty Miller plants but after a while they just get too big and I do have some baby plants still looking ok 🥰
Hi , so happy to have found you and your husband .. lol He seems to be a good sport. What zone are you in in England? I’m in America in Pennsylvania zone 6 a. Happy to meet you. , your hub and your pup😃
Hello Linda and I’m so glad to have a new gardening friend too 😊🥰 I think I am equivalent to a US zone 8, never normally gets that hot or that cold, usually quite mild winters (apart from the snow a couple of weeks ago which was unusual but seems everywhere has had snow this year, even Texas and Oklahoma!). Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Hello lovely Jerry! Wow 70!! It’s been so lovely here for a few days now, I might even be able to sow some seeds now. Oh and yes, we have to be nice to the husbands too 🤣🤣
I was digging my Osteopernum out of the border this morning also. It survived the snow, but not the minus 13 degrees afterwards. It was completely brown and crispy so it got pulled. And you have GAPS!!! How dangerous is that. It is always great to have an excuse to visit the garden centre😜 we have had a few days of +13 degrees Celsius and it feels so warm and it is so great to be out in the garden again. I see you were taking off your coat too!
Hi J.. I heard you had some beautiful weather.. I went out got paint.. Electrical wiring new lights and tongue and groove to do ceiling in livingroom.. Won't make it on YT but maybe Instagram lol
Good job Chris! We are not allowed out shopping, still in lockdown but schools go back on the 8th. It’s been really lovely here for a few days now. Good luck with all your DIY. Hope your fish are doing well. It’s Friday night so you can have another beer 🍺 but don’t drink it so fast 🤣🤣🥰
We just got to go into a store now.. Thought we would before it closed down again.. Have new furniture coming and have to have this room done.. Gotta build a live edged bar wall on the one side with a couple stools.. Hmmm. Yes my mom was an interior decorator..
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener I like being creative.. I dont mind designing like our basement and picking out colours to paint but dont ask me about throw pillows and blankets.. They call them throw for a reason.. Toss them the hell outta here lol
Hi Ade!! Apparantly we are going to get together for a duet I’m told, you on sax and me on the trumpet!! Rich is a drummer too maybe Deb can do the singing 🎶🤣 no, don’t want any of your toadstools 🤣🤣
@UCiWIMJG0pet6S5t%F0%9F%98%83%F0%9F%98%83%F0%9F%98%84cVDY47sQ Well that could be interesting ... I also play drums and a bit of guitar so could be an fun and noisy evening... LOL
