My main support community is Contra dance! There are gender free dance communities in the San Francisco area and in Boston, plus a lot of other dances around the country are moving to gender inclusive language, like the Portland Intown Dance in Maine! I have always been dance averse until I tried genderfree Contra and felt like this was the space where my gender is finally affirmed!

My main community/safe space is my synagogue. There are SO MANY queer folks there! I recently discovered where the local LGBT+ Center is, and I'm going to call them. No really, I will. At some point... 🙏❤🏳🌈🏳⚧
