@@10ktube From what I read, it depends on the coffee. But when I start dialing in I keep it at 1:2 adjusting later especially if the coffee is lightly roasted.
@@EntekCoffee hi, mind to share the cup size as well? have been reading about 1:1:1 for a cappuccino but it doesnt make sense to me as 36 g espresso: 36g milk: 36g foam will give a small108ml drink with overpowering intensity too....
@@briank7061 Thanks for watching! The 1:1:1 ratio is misleading. Cappuccino should be made to fill 6 oz (180 ml) cups (you can also go stronger with 5, or go weaker with 7). I also think that a 1:1 foam-milk ratio isn't going to make a good drink. It's just going to be too dry. Thus in a "modern cappuccino" the espresso-milk-foam ratio would be about 36:96:48 or roughly 1:3:1.5. Hope that helps!
What was the shot output? I think I saw 18g of coffee in, curious what you aim for with the shot size.
36 grams out...
@@EntekCoffee thank you. Seems to be a 2 to 1 that people aim for, I'm having terrible luck dialing in bit am going to keep at it.
