2:18 “…To say that Doublehead was a rebellious youth would be an understatement. Even as a child, barely out of puberty, Doublehead began leading raiding parties against white settlers. Although too young to fight, the youths would lie in wait until the settlers were away from home, then sneak in, burn their cabins and run off the livestock.Soon tiring of this, Doublehead began to look for other ways to harass the settlers. The isolated settlements depended on traveling peddlers for necessities such as salt, gunpowder and cloth. Realizing this, Doublehead fanned his group of teenage warriors out across the wilderness trails where they laid in ambush. Within a short while no peddler dared to enter the territory unless provided with a large armed escort. The few brave souls who did go alone met with a premature, and often gruesome death.Doublehead purposely cultivated his image as a bloodthirsty savage. Though the taking of scalps was not common among the Cherokees, he quickly made it his trademark. Even more grisly was his habit of cannibalizing his enemies' bodies. After a successful raid he would cut a piece of flesh from one of his victims, and often with blood running down his chin, eat it as a sign of the conquered's impotence. Afterwards, he would demand that his warriors, as a symbolic blood oath, do the same.….”

It flopped
@@OVHOEAubreythePedophileKingthe film wasn’t trying to make money in theaters it was only there so it could get nominated for awards season. Film is on Apple TV which is certainly gating people from watching it at home cause ain’t nobody getting that streaming service.
Lily deserves that Oscar
I saw that movie 9 times it's the best movie 2023
I swear this movie feels like 2hours but it’s 3 and a half long
So happy for Lily's win at SAG, I know its a tight race with Emma Stone but I'm crossing my fingers for Lily!
Boa noite
Nesse filme o Leonardo esta revelando todo o seu talento.
Muito bom!
5:30 the reaction one has when they are seers and have stopped engaging for the sake of hope and changing the course set forth.
I am truly looking forward to seeing this soon. I think Mr. Scorsese will be known as the best filmmaker of all time. The whole scope of it, the masterwork level of craft in the acting, it just looks like a winner from every perspective. She's a wonderful find. Natural. She has a real face. Right? A real face which looks lovely. I watched this and I thought she has a 'mona lisa' quality in her understated and quiet beauty. As a viewer I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see native women on screen and how wonderful it is to see a real woman onscreen. I'm guessing that it is difficult to cast historical pieces because of all of the cosmetics and color work the actors have done now. I can't wait to see this. It should shine at awards time, especially for this breakout actress. These people never make a bad movie. Martin Scorsese has never made a bad movie, ever. People will be watching his movies forever and a day. Leo DiCaprio, also, is a brilliant actor. 'The Revenant' is a masterwork of screen acting. This level of filmmaking is becoming a lost art. I hope that doesn't happen....
; - )
Killers of the Flower Moon it is a good movie to see
"good"....?.... GREAT
Leo's the Man.
Before the USA, there were Native / Indigeneous people lived here in this land. But, we don't hear much about them.
It is time to bring their stories to life. Do more, research more, learn more...
I grew up soaking wet in budd lake NJ. I followed the creek every day hunting and gathering, lifted rocks, made the rounds in the swamp and woods, and I could hear the upstream swimming suckers and waiting all year for them in spring. My town was purchased from the native for $50. No native cemeteries. I realize now that I had been interacting, been supervised when I thought I had no guidance in the physical world. With the natives, I realize now because they made it clear and it only took 30 years for me to see it.
I'm still trying to figure out what the jenny jump real Truth is, fallen or jump or chased, I think she fell, or maybe pushed, but this cliff hanger keeps playing out in real life until the truth be told. A native was blamed for it.
When Leo step in to Lily's home, the bgm indicates the entry of a venomous snake.
Good on-screen chemistry 😉
Leonardo seems like he's just sending in his role where as Lily actually plays the part true. I like Dicaprio but at times it can feel a tad off or forced.
Love her…appealing and great acting.
Leo is such a fine actor.
What amazing acting! Loved this movie
I wanna watch this from start looks great
Will the movie be added on paramount?
Lily's presence in this movie is so strong.
Def outacted DiCaprio.
This is not a race, but a collaboration
Each one of them delivered outstanding performance.
Leo painted small-minded, greedy, and conniving Ernest - he is repulsive, exactly because DiCaprio did an amazing job picturing him.
Lily portrayed dignity, grace and her fantastic performance is possible in part because what Leo delivered

Not even close. DiCaprio can act like so many random characters so well. This woman is just being herself, nothing challenging at all. 😆
He looks like the MAD character in the thumbnail.
If Leo is in the movie - the movie going to be awesome 👍
Hale was a segregationist and an influential member of the Democratic Party in Osage County. He had considerable influence over the local Osage County prosecutor. During his election campaign, the prosecutor sought Hale's endorsement and after receiving it won every precinct near Hale's ranch.
I’m now just noticing Lily Gladstone was also in Reservation Dogs! She played Hokti!
Bro that scene in the prison with the ancestors... CHILLS!
@@culinarynerd It made me emotional 😢
Leo my favorite ❤
Lily Gladstone: August 2, 1986 (age 37)
Perhaps the most challenging role Leo has ever taken
This looks like such a great movie
😮 She’s so pretty!
Appearance wise she's kinda ugly.....
Personality wise she's sexy AF...got sum swagger to her.... confidence..etc....
Balances out for dam sho.....
That was a great extended clip
One of the very few films worth watching last year.
They stole her oscar to Emma Stone 😢
Why don't we have this out on Blu-Ray yet. I absolutely need it.
“How come you don have a disc yet”
@@mikeg2491 The only official release at the moment is the Italian one with subtitles forced on. The others are either selling the book or sketchy 3rd party sellers that you probably will send you something completely different from what you thought you were getting.
@mikeg2491 The only official release so far is the one with Italian subtitles forced on. The other stuff you find is the book or sketchy 3rd party sellers that are just trying to scam you. When you see Target and Wal-Mart selling it, that will be the official release. In the US at least.
@mikeg2491 I can find a bunch of scams but no official release yet.
Leornado is in prime mode
LUV de niro's character.......str8 G.!!
Took him a long time, but the man finally figured out how to do a passable southern accent.
They suffered out that flower moon in front of the whole world 🌎
Now I recognize you.
That's pretty amazing.
You're pretty amazing.
I thought that there was something quite familiar about your eyes.
Loved lilys performance
Me too. She is great in every film she is in.
Does Leo play a moron for the entire movie?
This is a hard watch. I made it about 1/3 through, I'll watch it in segments, hits really close to home ..
You did him dirty with that thumbnail LMAO
The Arnie grape smile 😭🤌🏻
Leonardo is a really great actor ❤
