I do agree on-road handling is impressive with it.
@@g.fortin3228 that is the conclusion I came to after researching as well. It's good for road driving but not great for off roading as it limits droop, travel, flex, and ability to upgrade suspension plus the potential cost for repair if it fails. What i decided is not to make it a factor in vehicle purchase because it's fine either way.
@@ShogunateDaimyo Yes indeed. I researched repair costs too. Not frequent but not uncommon, the module repair and setting it up after repair usually has to be done at a lexus dealer because a lot of Toyota dealers dont have the special tools. Lexus had sold more vehicle numbers with it and are equipped but expensive. I have not purchased my 4runner yet.. hopefully by end of summer. So watching the trends meanwhile. No KDSS in my future. I'll replace the stock shocks with Bilsteins.
You need to sort out your sound. Soft then loud then soft and non stop wind noise
Pro please
You literally have my car there the red one
Mine too, and I love it!
Definitely the pro in the special offered color for that year, no contest.
I am confused TRD off road vs TRD PRO. so the Pro has tires and front bumper and fox suspension and the badges for 10k more I dont think i want to pay that. maybe for the tacoma trd pro i would i was in the market for a rav4 xse or limited but the 4runner is calling me i think more i wanted the rav4 to save gas buy them hybred suck at towing and offroading im not doing crazy off road just camping and light off roading i dont want to mess up my car its going to be my first new car. i wish they would redesign the 4runner its outdate like a MF
KDSS
KDSS=Mall Crawler
KDSS is an option on both vehicles
Buy the ORP and put the money saved toward a supercharger.
no auto headlights is hard to believe...
The 2021 trd off road premium has auto high beam headlights
My dads old 1999 Suzuki vitara base had auto headlights. hard to believe Toyota doesn’t have them as standard equipment in this day and age!
@@dehoyosrudolph8885 my old 2000 toyota celica gt came with auto headlights.
First it’s the 4Runner vs other off roaders. Today, it’s TRD Pro fanboys vs other 4Runner owners.
Or the TRD fan boys vs the broke boys who couldn’t afford one lmao you sound like a bitter child, it’s not TRD pro owners faults that your broke.
Not all Offroad’s have kdss….
Needs more wind noise
