Book nine is goated. The concept of two adorable children traumatizing sixth graders into never bullying again in amazing. George and Harold were beasts even at five/six years old

Ironically the book that takes place before Captain Underpants even existed still features him more than the final book
Tbh, the books are more about George and Harold than they are about Captain Underpants
but i don’t think they would buy a book called “george and harold traumatize a middle-aged man”
looking back at these books , the lore is genuinly weirdly deep
Kirby and Captain Underpants have the biggest lore
Book 3 is actually my favorite of the series, ngl. There are just so many great moments on top of Cap getting real superpowers. My favorite scene is when George, Harold, and Cap are surrounded by the evil zombie nerds and Cap says, "To the Underwear Cave!" "There is no Underwear Cave!" "Really? Well, let's just climb up this ladder instead!"

Books 9 & 10 are the best duology in fiction to me, it’s just so good. I loved captain underpants when I was a kid, and I’m still overly obsessed with dog man.

Regarding Harold being gay in book 12, I feel like it would’ve been the greatest plot twist of all time if George and Harold discovered that they’d get married to each other as adults. Seriously we were ROBBED
I agree this could've been a great plot twist but at the end of the day I'm still glad they decided to make him gay it was so funny tfor me to notice this a couple of months ago In math class
So that makes Harold one of the first ever LGBTQIA+ characters I've seen in media

God I love Captain Underpants so much. In 6th grade I would read Captain Underpants so much I would never put it down.

I agree Mr Meaner was not the best final threat. However I must say I do like the fact that the final threat is the one that made fun of the most. Whether it was the first 7 where the teacher is attacked in the comics and no one cares. The 8th book where they make an remark on the difference between different universe Mr Meaner and OG Mr Meaner. Also in the 11th he is one of the first to go crazy. (Strangly nothing happens in 9 or 10)
Also in the last book when Mr Meaner is defeated everyone is happy to see everyone surrvied. But when it was revealed Mr Meaner lived no one cared.
The 9 and 10 duology should've been a trilogy and 11 should've been the overall finale
Cheeseball Toiletfanny here, I was introduced to this series via the Bionic Booger Boy duology, glas to say that Wedgie Woman and Tippy Tinkletrousers are easily my top picks
You know it’s good when the book in the last place is already good
I remember reading the purple potty people for the first time and there was some pages ripped out so when I had to take an AR quiz I had to guess what happened during those ripped pages and I got the quiz 100% right which I think is cool because that means I understood how the series was written and stuff. I know it's useless information but I still think it's cool.
Finally a person that I don't know who does accelerated reader quizzes.

im currently rereading the series (i'm only three books in so) and from my remembering, my favorite was perilous plot of professor poopypants (probably bias as it's the only book in the mainline series i have in color), and my least favorite being wrath of the wicked wedgie woman. all the books are bangers of course, and i do own every book in the series, as well as almost every dog man (minus the most recent one), every cat kid comic club, and both diaper babies and ook and gluk. i own all in english minus diaper baby one (yeah i live in peru and got ook and gluk in english after the out of print). great video, i love your humor and editing, you earned a sub :)

i grew up with this series but stopped reading them because of the two year hiatus and by then i was already in middle school and grew out of it. you kids were lucky to have read the full thing in color. cool vid

I’m not joking when I say captain underpants changed my life. I was 7 years old about to enter juniors school, and I got the award for best reader in my year group. And as a gift, my teacher gave me Captain Underpants Book 9. I immediately laughed when I saw the title.
