DUDE! I had the Harold and the Purple Crayon book growing up! I completely forgot about it until just now, but wow. Flood of memories just came back. Not something I'd expect to become a movie, but honestly, Zachary Levi might be the only person who I think could make something good of it.

It’s not superhero fatigue; it’s bad to mediocre superhero fatigue. Movie studios need to give audiences compelling, fresh characters, great stories/ plots etc for audiences to show up. ❤❤❤❤

I think the MCU ever since post Avengers: Endgame and post pandemic has been putting out way too much content; over-saturating the market with way too many tv shows and movies in a given year. I think it’s a good thing they dialed it back this year. Less is more. The MCU, DCU and Sony should focus on quality over quantity.

Tbh I’m not the biggest comic/superhero movie lover. My absolute favorite movie genre without a shadow of a doubt is horror. Before Deadpool and Wolverine the last comic/superhero movie I watched was last year Spider-Man across the spider verse and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem. I enjoyed both! I love the animation for both, the characters, story/plot and action. Do you like the Venom movies?

I'm a comic reader from way back and a superhero fan, so those movies just weren't what I would have chosen for them to be and are a bit too goofy, but they work. It's just hard to have that character without some level of spiderman.

All the woke phase 4 and 5 movies beg to differ. Dead and Wolverine was a breath of fresh air but I 100% guarantee it that they will go back to their old ways to cater to a very small crowd again. Deadpool and Wolverine is a great example of what the Marvel fans want to see in movie. The MSheU fans is what's destroying the fan base.

As far as giving Disney money, I don't doubt the current regime is investing politically. But, like it or not, Disney owns much of what we love, and they will not let them go any time soon. If they do something right, I think we should support it and then not show up for the trash. Ex. Hate watching The Acolyte is dumb. But if we can speak with our money it could possibly help them course correct becasue at the end of the day, they are capitalist, even if its behind closed doors.
