Stunning, and great so people know they can always do art with cheaper supplies
The chalkiness of most cheap watercolor cakes also makes it hard to layer without disturbing the paint below it. This can be fixed somewhat by mixing some diluted glue into the paint on a palette. I used Elmer's All-glue, and it holds the pigment in place and still allows lifting with effort. The paint also doesn't rub off on your fingers anymore if you add just enough. Great painting though!

Edit: what's eperiment? Jk! Ahh I love what you said in the end. It's not the art supplies that makes the art but the skill of the artist! Thank you for saying that! Its very economical to buy cheap art supplies when you're just starting out and/or trying out a new medium, but I think its better to buy a few quality art supplies within your means than getting a bunch of low quality supplies that might just discourage you in the end. Ahhh, that was indeed very lovely, thank you Vero!

I own this exact set too!! And although I do own much higher quality supplies, I still love to pull this set out and use it from time to time!! 💗 It's very fun, and as you said, a wonderful and valuable exercise to use cheaper supplies and/or limited colours!
