- Omni-Man might have started out as a Superman archetype - but it turned out pretty quickly that he had absolutely no problem with killing other heroes. Not very Superman of him, but it did make him a whole lot like another evil Superman out there. Homelander. Now Omni-Man vs Homelander has been endlessly debated - but I think the more interesting question now is if Omni-Man could pull off something similar to what he did with the Guardians? Could Omni-Man defeat the Seven - maybe even with Soldier Boy and Stormfront thrown in there for good measure? Well let’s get into it!

A-Train isn’t dodging Annie’s light blasts, he’s dodging her ability to track his movements before firing the bolt.

Didn't Omniman already do that in his own series when he annihilated his own team in the series. They had comparable powers as The Boys except super strength, and he still killed all in one fight.
The Guardians were much better than the Seven, they were an actual team for one. I expect the Seven would be too busy running away to actually fight in any meaningful way.
They also had greater techniques, legitimately fight for others and justice like true heroes, and Omni-Man canonically would’ve lost if they had a better strategy.

Remember when Homelander in season 2 gets hit by the bus. He gets smashed through the ground and the Boys manage to escape from that. He didn’t take any damage, but he was still moved by it at the very least.

Homelander vs. 12 Horror Movie Villains
(In Order - Jigsaw, Ghostface, Leatherface, Chucky, Art the Clown, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, The Predator, Xenomorph, The Creeper, Pennywise, and Freddy Krueger).
Homelander would get floored by some of them. Ones like jason and micheal are also super strong, prob easily able to throw homelander around and seriously injure him. Others like Pennywise, freddy krueger would manipulate him quite easily thx to his alrdy weak mental health. The predator and a xenomorph are overkill.

Danco made a gauntlet with Batman vs. Horror Villains, so I wanted to see how Homelander would do.
My rules are:
1. Each of the Villains are in their "Prime".
2. The Villains Get 24 Hours of Prep Time.
3. Homelander has to Fight Them One-on-One, and Must Consecutively Fight the Villains in Their Environments.
When you said Homelander is stronger than any weapon on Earth, that isn't true. It's only theoretical.

I believe Red Rush got killed because he tried to take on Omni Man head on. If you look back at the fight with the Guardians, they held their own against Omni Man mainly because Red Rush was in a support role, helping them dodge Nolan's attacks. The minute he stopped doing that, and took the fight straight to Nolan he got killed easily. After that, it was skeet shooting with a laser scope.
He pretty much already did when he took out the guardians

Omni-Man, like any other matured Viltrumite, would annihilate the entire bunch within seconds, Homelander included. Viltrumites can survive within close proximity to a star and will only ever start to (slowly) take demage when submerged in it. Black Noir, Homelanders identical clone, was ultimately blown to bits via high-caliber military weaponry.
Honestly the only one that can challenge Omniman is Homelander. Most of the seven have powers similar, or inferior to, characters in invincible.
Homelander is essentially the immortal with laser eyes and far less composure. Seeing as the giant beam from the satellite only gave Omniman a bloody nose, I think it’s safe to say after one burst Homelander is losing his shit and is going to get sloppy.
It’s the same case with Starlight, I don’t think it would even stagger Omniman to be honest.
Queen Maeve is just war woman without the mace thing, and it didn’t go too well the first time around.
Redrush’s speed isn’t really discussed so I can’t speak for that, but seeing how A-train can cover an entire city in a few minutes is a testament to how fast he is. But I don’t think it’s that much of a difference if Omniman can go from the heartland of the US to the pacific, and then to Everest in the matter of minutes. Plus Omnimans reaction time is nuts.
As much as I love the Deep (the peak) as a character he is inferior to Aquairus. Sure he could command a whale or a pod of orcas or something but that is a non factor. Aquairus atleast had a ranged attack to keep Omniman back but the Deep lacks that, and if Omniman gets a hold of him it’s over.
It’s the same case for Black Noir. Darkwing at least had gadgets to fend off and distract Omniman, Noir has only blades which may or may not be able to puncture Omniman. Even if they did, I don’t think it plays that much of a factor.
The biggest deciding factor here is experience. The Seven are glorified celebrities, they don’t do real saves that often and when they do fight other powered individuals it’s an inside job from Vought. The Guardians on the other hand are far more experienced and have fought real super villains. Omniman has also squared off against real threats throughout his entire career as a viltrumite soldier. He is dog walking The Seven no question.
omni man was casually insanely close and flying within the accretion disk of a supermassive black hole which is 300 times hotter than the suns surface and over 18 million degrees fahrenheit.
we’re talking a Super God-like Aliem humanoid who has thousands of years of advanced combat training, the power to wipe out planets and trained in conquering entire solar systems, and can withstand/tank the heat/power of a star in the TV show series, as accretion disks are left over accumulated energy and gas from hundreds of stars and contains tiny bits of planets.

I still think he would win but we already said omniman would beat homelander. It doesn't matter if the rest of the seven are there because homelander is the strongest of the seven and all you went over were one on one scenarios. What matters is could they work together and somehow overpower omniman? I doubt they could because they aren't really known for their ability to work together but what do you think? If they somehow worked together could they do it?

The real difference is this: You surrender to Omni Man, agree to serve the Vertrimite Empire, and you get to live.
Under Homelander, you have zero life expectations even if you obey. It's not a matter of if, but when he will sadistically murder you for shits & giggles. At least under the Vitrimite Empire, you have worth. Not much, but you are under the protection of the empire. Another race or group comes by starting trouble, is going to get brutally curbstomped with the added "this planet is not yours to conquer ".

The sheer amount of times that people talk about viltrumites moving faster than light speed to get to other galaxies and stuff is so stupid. The reason Viltrumites can reach such high speeds is because the entire time they're traveling they are accelerating. They build up speed over over half of that week and then probably spend the next half week decelerating to avoid accidentally exploding the planet they're landing on. Omni man isn't faster than speedsters. He just is fast for his strength that's it. he can't instantly move at the speed you were talking about faster than light.
