I pray for you all, whatever has happened in your lives since your comments were made I pray you did indeed believe that Our Father in Heaven truly loves us as we are. i'm reading "ragamuffin gospel" right now and it is the most refreshing work i've read in a long time. it was so nice to finally hear brennan manning's voice. this was so great. thank you.
I have so appreciated Brennen's writings and his ability to communicate the heart of "Abba Father." I read "The Signature of Jesus" in 1997 and I was wrecked by the revelation of God's "furious" love for me... still am actually!
There is no doubt that I am Abba's boy/child. Abba loves me with an amazing love. Only He is able to care for me the way He does. I just want to say that after many years of being an orphan, Abba broke through and I can say " Abba You are beutiful and I am Yours." Thank You my Daddy
Jesus often spoke in parables and action. His parables often pointed to God loving us, and here Brennan is pointing out many of us forget, in our walk, to be holy and in our journey to be set apart for God's glory that he loves us.
My words aren not important enough for people to see/read, however I need to express my continued sadness at OUR loss of this modern-day disciple of Christ. My faith is feckless, shallow, pretentious (add adjective here) but listening to a fellow Ragamuffin I am reminded that God loves ME and will fight for me day after day so that I may know his love for me. God bless you Brennan, it seems like yesterday I was handed a used copy of that seminal work, Ragamuffin Gospel, that has changed my life!
Absolutely true. Jesus pursues us with a love that we cannot escape, even if we ignore it. He places people in our path who show it, who live it if we won't listen to His own voice telling us how much He desires us. I've watched this video hundreds of times and it still chokes me up when I think of just how much Jesus Christ wants me to trust Him and fall into His outstretched arms in order to experience the peace he has for me. Amen, Brother Manning!
I miss you, Brennan, my mentor, my friend. Earth's not the same without you, but the legacy of grace you left goes on and on and on forever.

Father Manning is so right - Jesus chases after us with a love that we just will never understand, but if we could, it wouldn't be love.
