- Got some cool stuff from www.homedefence-24.com and today I tinker with my Umarex HDP50. I put on the barrel shroud and try the X-Treme Modify Powerpin. Hope you like the video. Big thanks to Florian Søllner for all the nice things he has sent me

Really nice video my friend! How many shots do you get with original and with X-treme pin? Does it provide more power or stability? Many thanks
Thanks my friend. As a stock 11 joule I get ca 15 shots from it, but lower power. Now with a new pin I get between 23 and 32 joule over 6 shots. The last shot (nr 6) was lower than the first 5 so on awerage I guess the power sits between 27-32 range. Not bad for a CO2 pistol 😃

Thanks my friend. Iam glad you like my videos. Yes it should work on all models. But not on the HDX and HDS because it has an internal restrictor in the brass tube. But for the other models like HDR and HDP it works great 😃

Thanks my friend. I think you have the 7,5 joule version. Look on the side of the pistol. If you see a large letter F inside a pentagram you have the 7,5 joule version. This dont have the restrictor in the CO2 tube, but it has a valveblock inside the valve. Just take off the "slide" and unscrww the brass part that has the pressure indicator. Behind it sits the valveblock. Use a pair of plyers or other object and pul it out. If that dont work you must open the internals andn use a long rpd or screwdriver and hammer it out. Several videos on RUclips show this. No need to change the valvepin. I can highly recomend a long barrel for it. Good luck.

@@rick31869 Thank you brother 😃. I feel the same way. In most countrys firearms can not be owned (or is very hard to get hold of). Paintball markers used as "Less Than Lethal" is a great option. Because of my artritis and illness, I cant use my body as a weapon. But I can shoot with these markers. They can be owned here freely as long as you are over 18 years old. They are not considered guns here, just toys. They are relativly cheap to buy and use. Great for homedefense with the right ammo. I have friends from all over the world, and I dont mind where people come from. If people ask for my advice I give it 🙂. Thanks for all the kind words. Greetings from your brother in Norway 😃👍
Have you tried the HD-24 Sniper extension kit added to the long barrel and the resulting FPS?

What exactly you have modified in comparison to "out-of-the-box" version? You installed a longer barrel, a barrel shrowder, a power pin, and you removed the valve restrictor?
I have the 11 joule version, so no valveblock. I removed the restrictor from the CO2 tube. Put in a long barrel and installed a X-Treme Powerpin in the pushbutton for the CO2 canister. Very easy job 😃👍
Great video my friend. I just ordered an american version 7.5j HDP and I already have a modify pin in my other marker so its gonna be fun. So I just need to remove the restrictor behind the brass plug and install the modified pin? No need for a powerkit?
Thank you my friend. Yes. Just remove the valveblock/restrictor behind the brass plus. No need for a Powerkit, just use the X-treme modify Pin and you have full power. For max power buy the long barrel for it 😉

After converting the valve and pin, gas escapes from the weapon, audible in the barrel? what could be the reason?
Hi. Maybe the searspring is missing or disslocated. Can also be problem with the heatcore O-ring. Can you post a video showing us?

Hi my friend. The HDP50 in 11 joule dont have the valve block. It only has a restrictor in the CO2 tube

Hello. The powerpin helps even out the velocity drop you normaly gets when shooting with an open valve. It seems to work best in the HDR50, but most models can use it with good effect. But it only even out the velocity, it dont give more power. The HDR50 cant be used with an open valve if you dont use a powerpin because it will just dump out all the CO2 in one or two shots. So as I say use it in the HDR50. Not needed in other models.

The mod is just the barrel and the emergency pin?the chamber block is not removed?the bolt pin is still original?if yes,what do you think it makes with full modications?
The only thing I have done is put in the long barrel and remove the restrictor from the CO2 tube (you see me do in this video), plus use the Powerpin in the CO2 cap. The internals are the same. This is the 11 joule version and it dont have any valveblock. The valvepin is the orginal. Its powerful as a stock pistol, but now its a cannon 😁
@@runerebel8441 really a cannon.would you think it would get over 30j in the HDR 50 with valve pin changed and removed block and long barrel? steel balls are heavy,did you test some other ammo to see if it brings maybe more?

Hei. Har du 11 joule utgaven så har du det du trenger. For max kraft kjøp deg heller det lange løpssettet til den. Du kan fjerne restrictoren som sitter i CO2 røret. Da får du max kraft. Lykke til 😃

I took the pin out and get 6 solid shots with solid power in all 6 shots. with the adapter to attach a hose to your gun and a larger canister that can attach to your belt for 150 shots. Then who cares about the pin out :)
Yes the HPA adapter give you lots of shots. The 12 gram CO2 has its limmits 🙂

So I am prob maxing out at 30-35 joules with the so called powerkit bringing up the gun to 15-30j max and add that along with the TUNING BARREL YOU GOT it says it will add another 10j from the 30 so 40j max but I'd be using aluminium balls if anything, Idk IF id try rubber nylon like my 43s... My 43s I got both but now I got ALOT of alumnium balls and they HIT HARD for 6joules then again no they dont its only 6 joules, exactly why I got this HDP 50 to mod it to atleast 50js 200-300fps all I need and I want the gun to look e xactly like that gun your holding not too many mods and maybe another thing added like your other video I commented on to make the barrel look right size. and prob an 1100 PSI HPA TANK but IDK if Id put it in the buttstock area or the bottom because they said the ZRAM have a extended thing that gives them +8 joules on the back of the hdr 50 hdr 68 and hdp... its where you remove the brass thing to remove restrictor but they add an extension there and have to make a bigger hole in the gun frame.... hope its worth it its like 44$ euro dollars though. I live in USA IDK if theyll ship to me....... Lol sorry I Always write long long paragraphs on your videos but you always respond and I always want opinion of this or that but i end up repeating alot lol.

@runerebel8441 looks like I did this and people on the home defense umarex Facebook page says the power kit is uselss? And takes away power but now I can't remove it I also cannot fire balls after installing the barrel.and powerkit did I mess up the trigger or something I can fire and co2 comes out and makes marks on walls but doesn't fire the balls.
Hmmm. What size balls did you use? Dont use 12,7mm. I use only 12,5mm now and it works fine. I guess the barrel detent has buckled/folded. This jams balls from enetering the barrel. 🤔@@-SLEAZY-

Dear friend always following your videos congratulations for one more. I would like to make a request that I think would be the most fair and lucid when it comes to powerpin, it would be to test the hdp 50 and hdr 50, with the powerpin and the original pin, both with new co2 so that we can understand in real time with the same conditions the differences either in power or in shots made.
