@@Virtuous_Heart we appreciate and are more comfortable in our own language. We have also elderly Ghanaians who don't understand English good enough, also the mindset of the people to be proud Africans must be developed. We Ghanaians can speak English, but most of us praise our own language. Be honest, can you say the same about German, French, Chinese, Indian etc. you tubers? Why do you think they all speak their native language, not English, but when when it comes to Africa this suddenly changes? The Ghanaians outside Ghana should train their kids the Ghanaian language as many as possible. At the long run I am looking forward that Africa should create its own platforms like Facebook, Twitter, RUclips etc. This platform are very powerful tools. Ask yourself what Twitter wants to reach in Africa in the long process? I like watching things behind the scenes, and Twitter don't look good. However I respect your opinion.

This aspect of us have to speak certain language to target mainly “others “ is absurd why can’t we be our biggest target u know. German Japanese even India Bollywood movies are in Hindu. We can talk of subtitles but we need to keep our languages active

My brother it was same with Nkrumah...You would appreciate Kagame the more after you lose him. I tell you with the thought process of an African , a leader would require a reasonable amount of force to change the behaviour of an African and subsequently develop the country. Other than that forget it.
There are nation builders, but nation building is a collective responsibility, so the best is mobilisation of collective intelligence .
You're so right but unfortunately it seems the only language most Africans understand is a very strong hand and they will call it dictatorship. All they know how to do is talk talk talk and sit on social media and insult instead of using their platform wisely as WM is doing and has been doing.

Excellent interview … you represented yourself and your brand well Wode Maya. So much great information. Please when you interview President Addo ask him why aren’t systems in place to move Ghana forward in every aspect. HE has the power and the position to do so. If he TRULY loves Ghana and the people, he will work hard to improve the country and the lives of the Ghanaian people. Please, somehow in a very “diplomatic” way get that point across to him. I am born and raised as an American and I fell in love with the country and the people of Ghana, but coming to Ghana it was clear to me that the government was not working on behalf of the people. My prayer is that he listens then acts. He has the power to enact the change to move the country forward. Peace and blessings brother. I really enjoy your content and also love the fact that you're speaking up about the issues in Ghana as well as other African countries. As a former military man, I agree with you when you say "Change starts from the top". The citizens can only do so much. If the Government are not creating change, the citizens will not change.

Yes, tribalism is an issue, but a right system can make a difference, because everyone wants a fair deal, progress and productive education etc. Avoid partisan democracy to prevent confrontations.
