He is able to talk intelligently across the aisle, and because of that, there were numerous Republicans that engaged with President Biden's infrastructure plans. This also helps decrease the carbon footprint that we as a species leave behind us. We are able to negotiate across the board around the globe to reduce our reliance on the vagaries and dominions of other nations because of Secretary Buttigieg. It was a remarkable and commendable display.

I've been a liberal since the time I understood the differences but I have to say I've never been a huge Joe Biden fan. I was a big supporter of Bernie Sanders in the primary before Covid hit, and I felt rather disenfranchised when Joe Biden was declared the official nominee. What Mr. Buttigieg just said about the de-facto most powerful human on the planet voluntarily setting aside that power really struck me. Watching the live stream of President Biden speaking on supreme court reform, I noticed I liked him so much more and didn't know the reason. This interview made me realize why. It takes an incredible human to do what Biden did.
Even as he rambled on about his early career he was engaging and funny. He seems relieved to be calling it a day. And seeing through a different lens means a lot.

When Pete Buttigieg was running for POTUS in 2020, I worked on several of his rallies in Charleston SC. I saw him on the stump and "backstage." He is very articulate, well-read, smart as a whip, and firmly in control of his emotions. I would vote for Pete Buttigieg for ANYTHING in a skinny second!

Watched new businesses open and people take pride in down town again like they did when I was a child and there were plenty of businesses, shopping and restaurants. He and Chasten live in Traverse City, as do Chasten's parents. One big reason Pete and Chasten moved there was to be closer to family, especially closer to their children's grandparents. Chasten grew up in Traverse City.

He is able to talk intelligently across the aisle, and because of that, there were numerous Republicans that engaged with President Biden's infrastructure plans. This also helps decrease the carbon footprint that we as a species leave behind us. We are able to negotiate across the board around the globe to reduce our reliance on the vagaries and dominions of other nations because of Secretary Buttigieg. You really should pay attention when the guy speaks,rather than relying on Jesse Waters to tell you what he said. Waters will lie to you every time, just as he did here.

I've been a liberal since the time I understood the differences but I have to say I've never been a huge Joe Biden fan. I was a big supporter of Bernie Sanders in the primary before Covid hit, and I felt rather disenfranchised when Joe Biden was declared the official nominee. What Mr. Buttigieg just said about the de-facto most powerful human on the planet voluntarily setting aside that power really struck me. Watching the live stream of President Biden speaking on supreme court reform, I noticed I liked him so much more and didn't know the reason. This interview made me realize why. It takes an incredible human to do what Biden did.

When Pete Buttigieg was running for POTUS in 2020, I worked on several of his rallies in Charleston SC. I saw him on the stump and "backstage." He is very articulate, well-read, smart as a whip, and firmly in control of his emotions. I would vote for Pete Buttigieg for ANYTHING in a skinny second!

I watched Pete as a Mayor and was astonished to see the improvements he made to a city that lost its luster decades prior but had so much potential. That's how Pete is. He sees the potential.... the positives hidden among the negatives and organizes to bring those positives to the to surface to shine. I watched down town change for the better and become a place women and families felt safe comfortable going to. Watched new businesses open and people take pride in down town again like they did when I was a child and there were plenty of businesses, shopping and restaurants. Really hope Kamala has a place of importance for Pete in her administration. He is highly intelligent, creative and great at speaking and finding solutions..

We are not like Trump - we can actually choose people based on their qualifications and character and benefit to the country as a whole and not just to the benefit of one person.

When Pete ran for president he had my vote, as Secretary of Transportation we saw him address and outline plans to overcome infrastructure disasters, in spite of the GOP tossing blame when they are the ones who cut regulations so railways made more $$, he’s calm intelligent communication skill is what we need. He doesn’t dumb it down, he articulates every message clearly without insults, name calling and conspiracies.
Not to mention every other week was “infrastructure week” during trumps presidency and nothing got done.
I’m so tired of being insulted by politicians who Insinuate I need them to act like a child to get my vote. I’m so ready to have adults in the Whitehouse again who are articulate, calm, intelligent, respectful human beings. You know…real leaders.

Wow, I’m a Michigan resident and didn’t know until just now that Pete Buttigieg and his family live in my home state now. Let me say how happy I am to welcome him to Michigan.
He and Chasten live in Traverse City, as do Chasten's parents. One big reason Pete and Chasten moved there was to be closer to family, especially closer to their children's grandparents. Chasten grew up in Traverse City.

It was rough watching him run in a red state so competently but not be able to vote for him. I'm happy President Biden saw his amazing eloquence and talent for politics and brought him into his administration to put him on a national stage like this. He is a rock star!

He's the absolute best, but I think Mark Kelly is the way to go. Undecided Republicans in swing states are more likely to vote for Kelly because he's a centrist and an astronaut. He may even help Harris win Arizona, which is a pretty big deal.
