    Great Video - When I purchased my B2601 I wanted the extendable lower arms with ratchet adjust so Kubota supplied the LX 2610 3 pt kit instead of the standard B2601 kit. If you are buying the B2601 ask the dealer about the LX2601 3 Pt kit - it cost me an extra $325 at purchase - money well spent. Fit perfect.

    Hi Chris, thank you for this informative video. I am contemplating on installing a top link and have a couple of questions for you. I noticed that you had some fitment issues, namely that the check valve on the cylinder would strike the quick connect if raised to the upmost position. I also noticed in that the LX3310 has two mounting holes on both the top link and the lifting arms. Did you try attach the cylinder to the lower of the two mounting holes on the top link? (Hole 2 in the operator’s manual pg 89). Did this make the fitment better or worse?

    • @watershedoverlook
      @watershedoverlook  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for watching. That's a great question. Actually, I don't think I really considered using the lower mounting hole for the cylinder. Hi Dan. My plan is to add the hydro where the ratcheting link is. I considered switching the ratcheting link over to the other side but I think that might be introducing too many variables for my brain. I think I like the idea of having the left side static so leveling only requires adjusting the one side. I believe that will still give me more tilt than I'll probably ever need with the hydro cylinder. for my usage. If I find I'm mistaken, it will be easy to put the unused ratcheting link on the left.
      Keep in mind....all this from someone who hasn't actually done it yet!!! Hope that helps. 👍😎

      Hi Todd, thanks for watching. The fittings that came in the lever kits were 1/4". At this point the only thing they are hooking up to is the top (and future tilt) cylinders, so I just ordered the hose set from AgristoreUSA with the 1/4" fittings since it was the same price and then I didn't have to purchase any additional fittings.

    If you are to order the side link too, do you know which part # it would be for the LX2610?

    • @watershedoverlook
      @watershedoverlook  Год назад +1

      Sadly Sparky, I do not. I heard the price and choked. I believe it was over $600. I expect your dealer could tell you...it would be part of the new top-n-tilt kit for the B2601/LX2610.

      @@watershedoverlook AgristoreUSA sells them. I just wondered if you found one of theirs that fits the LX2610 and the matching hoses. I will measure my side link this weekend and see if AgristoreUSA has one that will work. Thx

      Yes, but I don't think they sell one that matches the side link. I have my original (non-ratcheting) side link so I will probably cannibalize that to fab the side link. I think I found one that might work...if I can find the link I'll post it below...

      I ordered a custom-made hydraulic side link from FitRite Hydraulics. Long lead-time for shipping but Brian was very helpful and answered all my questions.

    Fellow 2610 owner here. Looking to do this in the near future. But I’ve got a question for you. Do your front tires rub on the loader frame when you turn the wheels?

    • @watershedoverlook
      @watershedoverlook  Год назад +1

      I don't think so...at least I've never noticed it before. I'll check next time I'm on it and confirm. 👍

    • @watershedoverlook
      @watershedoverlook  Год назад +1

      OK, I checked. I'm not even close to rubbing. Well over an inch between the tire and loader support at the closest point. Hope that helps. 👍

      Hmm…thanks. When I turn my wheels all the way left/right the outside edge of the tires rubs on the loader frame. We’ll almost the whole way, maybe a quarter turn shy. Should also mention I have the R14T tires.

      Sure. The Kubota part # is B2667. There's more on this in my video 002. Here's a link to the part on Messick's website, but you might get it cheaper at your local dealer.
      Good luck!

      Thanks for watching and the suggestion Mark. Someone else recommended them as well and I think I have found a cylinder there that I can convert to a side link. Stay tuned... 👍😎
