    There are multiple options for hoses, threads, adapters, etc, but here is a quick list I put together that will get the job done. This list is assuming the ports on your cylinder match what I have listed and used in the video, which is SAE #8 O-Ring Boss, aka ORB (or -8, 1/2 ORB, 3/4-16 thread size). Hopefully this helps!
    3/8 hydraulic hose with 3/8 pipe thread on each end, 36" long - Need 2 of these
    amzn.to/48PTweT
    3/8 pipe to #8 (1/2") O-ring Boss 90° Adapter (goes into cylinder ports and connects to one hose end) - Need 2
    amzn.to/3LTQsob
    3/8 pipe to 1/2 pipe reducer (used to adapt 3/8 hose end to 1/2 pipe tractor couplers) - Comes in a set of 2
    amzn.to/3LVHeHI
    1/2" Ag Couplers ISO 5657 - Comes in a set of 2 so just order quantity of 1-
    amzn.to/3ROvevF
    A FEW NOTES -
    36" hose will be a little long but will work and probably give a few different routing options. 30-34" works well. 24" was too short for my needs.
    You will need thread sealant on pipe thread joints. The O-ring boss connection at the cylinder uses the o-ring for sealing so no thread sealant needed.

    I have an MX5400 Kubota I added the max rear remotes it can have which is three. I bought the Kubota top and tilt cylinder kit which was 900 bucks. Loving it so far. I was just using it yesterday had the box blade fully tilted cutting a ditch. I went with the land pride quick hitch. I love being able to back up to implements and just hitch up and go without getting off the tractor. Why did you go with pats over just a full blown quick hitch. Land pride makes cat 2 quick hitches?

    • @arrowjmfarms
      @arrowjmfarms  2 года назад

      I have a regular style quick hitch, albeit a cat 1 from Titan. I need a cat 2. But I mostly went with pats because I wanted to be able to hook up to my hay mower quickly, as well as have the option for implements that may not be standardized. Turns out that Pats doesn’t work so well with hay mowers. It works, but hay mowers are so heavy it causes problems with the spring loaded latch. I made a quick video on I’ll have to get it posted. Sounds like you have a nice setup and that’s awesome!

      Sometimes it’s easier to find a kit that will include the necessary fittings. The last several times I’ve ordered I used - www.hydraulicsdirect.com
      There are many options for fittings depending on port size, hose size, and whether you want straight, 45, 90. I will list the fittings I used for this one.

      @@arrowjmfarms Thank you for your reply. However, I guess it does not matter at this point. After spending three days trying to find a freaking hydraulic top link with a 14" stroke or even 16", the whole country is sold out of them and there are none to be had.

    Great job on your video. How long are the hydraulic hoses ?

    • @arrowjmfarms
      @arrowjmfarms  Год назад +1

      I’ve found that 30”-32” is about right. Plus or minus a few inches wouldn’t be unusable. I have a set that are 24” and they work but I felt like they needed a bit more slack. I also have used 36” hoses and they work just fine but there’s a bit more loop/slack than needed.
