I was an ex-Catholic and have been a Christian (Protestant) for a few years, and this show and your respective journeys have brought me closer to my Catholic roots. I plan on returning to the church once the lockdown has been lifted in my state.

I'm an atheist but I really enjoyed watching the show. It's interesting to learn more about different religions. Seeing all the amazing things nuns do to help people (regardless if they have faith or not) really gave me hope in this very dark time we're in right now
A great place for some good answers is Catholic answers. A little intellectual- but I think easy enough to follow. They know their stuff , know a lot about all religions.
Girl same, like you I really enjoyed the show. And the nuns were so sweet and nice. It was so heartwarming seeing them help others in need.
Nuns are truly amazing! I my self almost became a nun. You (even as a non Catholic) can go to a local convent and help out. Go check out your local convents. They are so cool, could probably hold their liquor better than the priest, and have the best dirty jokes lol. They live being invited to parties too! Invite them to your next shindig

I'm a nontraditional Christian, our church has Baptist roots but it's very nondenominational. I watched you ladies in the show and it inspired me to learn more about your church. I've been to a few catholic churches and I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb. I realised it's because of my ignorance toward Catholicism and I intend to educate myself now :)

I’m not Catholic but I thoroughly enjoyed watching the entire series on RUclips. The recap was wonderful to see all five young women really mature into womanhood and find themselves and yet maintain a relationship with God. I really wish each girl that had the equal one at a time so we could’ve heard more from Eseni.
The Sisterhood was just released on Discovery+ and my husband and I binged the whole thing in two days. 😅 It was such a GOOD show!
My husband is Catholic and I'm Mennonite (endless theological discussions in our house) and both of us feel refreshed in our faith after having watched your show.

Oh! Francesca’s explanation makes so much more sense now when u look back at her behavior! I kept wondering why are these girls freaking out about the constant praying, no makeup, no phones, etc.
Yes, this makes things make much more sense. I thought while watching the show that F and E seemed like they really hadn’t prepared to be there emotionally or spiritually...and couldn’t figure that out. The other three seemed much more prepared to be there. Ah..so the producers wanted some excitement. I would have honestly preferred if they hadn’t done that. Not saying that against F and E, but I would like to see a version with 5 young women who really are discerning this and ready.
And I want to also add that God had purpose in F and E being there. I don’t want it to seem that I am minimizing that. For them, it seems this was really a life changing experience.
So sorry to hear about Francesca's father! This virus has taken so many people way too soon.

I am so sad about this...and so glad that she told this story to remind people that this is REAL and can happen to any of us.
When I watched the show, I was very judgmental. I was one of those people who thought that drama meant that you weren't cut out to be a nun. Boy, was this eye-opening! It's so true that drama is inevitable...it's HUMAN.
It was so nice to see you all together and hear you all's wisdom. I watched the show before my bout of severe depression that I am currently in, and seeing this brought back some feelings of joy and lightheartedness for me.

Michelle F Same here!! I love seeing these beautiful examples of our religion!! I’ve always been so proud and thankful to have grown up in such a strong Catholic faith. But there has been so much negativity in the news about Catholics, this is so refreshing and awesome to see and watch! I’m so happy that other non-Catholics have this to see part of our beautiful traditions and faith!
I went to Dublin last summer and met Sr. Maria Therese! We ended up staying at the same retreat center! It was awesome because we spoke about you guys and your discernment, as I, too, am discerning a vocation to Religious Life!

Awesome to see these 5 ladies back together and have this reunion! Sad to hear about Francesca’s dad. Glad she still has her faith. Amazing to see these women still have such fond memories and bonds from the show. I’d love to see Eseni have a more in depth conversation about her spiritual journey now on the podcast! Seeing her apologize to Claire was so heartfelt and you can tell she is still searching.

Thank you for the update. I’m not Catholic or religious at all for that matter. I don’t know why the show came to my you tube feed, it must have been a God thing. It was a very interesting show and I have really wondered what became of all of you. Then, today this video came to answer my questions. I’m very happy to see that you all are finding your place in this world. I’ve learned a lot from all of you.
I loved watching this. As a single woman dating discerning marriage I’m inspired by your words that God wants what we want in our heart. Sometimes I have my doubts but I’m like yes Lord you want what I want. You want me happy. As I continue in this relationship please pray I have the eyes and heart to follow and let God lead me. It is amazing to hear what God has done in all of your lives. I really enjoyed watching your show. I watched the show when it aired on RUclips. I am going through a difficult time now with Med School. Seeing how you all were trusting God, even when your path did not seem clear or easy, really encouraged me.

I just rewatched The Sisterhood so it was great that you did this! It's wonderful to see how God is working in each of your lives. :) I too have discerned religious life for a long time, but I know now that God is calling me to marriage. Finding your channel recently has been a blessing, making me truly realize that I can and must live holiness in marriage as well. It just really encourages me. Thank you so much! Francesca has matured so much since the show. She seems independent and confident now. It's awesome how she attends daily mass at her young age. She still her old spunky self too. I see her going far life
I am SO thankful you ladies put this together and let us watch your reunion. I was raised Christian, went on plenty mission trips, led worship in my church, but was hurt by my pastor. I started loosing faith and now at 22, I have none. Watching The Sisterhood brought back feelings of faith and now watching this, especially with what Eseni shared, I feel like I’m going thru a similar situation except I used to have dreams and now I don’t. I don’t even know how to get enough faith to believe in someone like Christ again. But hearing me say that is crazy but true at the same time! My old me wouldn’t be able to believe that I would have a hard time believing but the current me yearns to believe something! After watching the show I thought about turning to catholicism.. but all I know is I need prayer to get me out of these YEARS of a spiritual rut. Thank you again for sharing this reunion!!

It is so hard to hear and I keep getting older and just feel lost. What a blessing! Thank you so much for putting this together. I’ve watched The Sisterhood twice and have been SO curious about how everyone’s lives have progressed.
I’ve always been confused with my religion and who I am as a person. When I was much younger I was attending Catholic Churches and schools and as I got older I left that church and went to a Christian church and stayed their for years and went to church two to three times a week. Since then I’ve been very confused on my religion and finding where I belong and this show brought a new light on what I want to do.
I would have like to hear Eseni's story since the show. Really nice hearing them talk about their faith and how much they've grown and gotten stronger in their faith because of the show.

I’m Episcopalian (so diet Catholic basically 😂). I enjoyed the show very much. It was a joy seeing all of you grow emotionally and spiritually and I’m really happy to see all of you ladies doing well today.
Same here (Episcopalian). This was fascinating. Glad to see the ladies found ways to serve God in their own creative ways based on their personalities and callings. We Episcopalians seem to really believe in showing Gods love in day to day quiet ways while interacting with others maybe, and not so charismatic. But i do admire the gusto these ladies have for their faith.

I finished the series not that long ago but finding ur chanal was great and see all of yall now years later is like wow and all of ur stories are encouraging in different ways
Eseni's boyfriend was on My Super Sweet 16 on MTV. I immediately recognized him and thought maybe that was her link to the show. Nice to hear how it all actually went down.
I kept looking at him trying to place where I knew him from. OMG lol
Can't believe it's been several years since the show. I too was discerning several years ago, and was in a benedictine convent for a year. I still keep in touch with them till this day. I loved the show and have a silly sense of humor my favorite convent in appearance was the Carmelites, they have beautiful flowers and I loved their chapel. Mother mark was very nice and sister Theresa was funny. my favorite nun was sister Beth Ann, she was witty and funny and made me laugh often. Wish there would be a reunion at each convent again. I know some of the ladies married, which is wonderful and a vocation too. Honestly I'm a introvert but when I'm feeling a little down, besides reading my Bible or story of a soul, I'll watch this and my husband will say oh didn't you watch that six months ago and I'm like, oh well, I like to watch it twice a year, I really enjoyed the whole show. I think it's wonderful all the convents had different charisms. I admire the work the sisters of Mary of Providence do, I think they will definitely see their eternal reward in heaven and I loved the Carmelites taking care of the elderly as well. God bless!

When I found out I was pregnant (I am only 20 years old) I stop crying and sat there and asked God to give me a sign as to why that was happening and I got my answer instantly. I would love to share this experience privately, this answer came to me so recent. I found out I was pregnant a week ago and then I found out I was 16 week into my pregnancy.
You women are amazing! Thank you for sharing this reunion to the world. I had seen the show on RUclips and enjoyed hearing all your updates and beautiful spiritual journeys in this video. So grateful that I found the show! So sorry it's taken me this long to get back to you! YAY for your conversion- big belated WELCOME!!!! Advice for converts: 1) expect everyone in the Catholic Church to be imperfect and don't expect anyone to be perfect... they can't. 2) Seek community with all your heart, and if you can't find it, pray to the Holy Spirit (actually do that regardless). You're gonna need people in real life as our culture moves farther away from God. 3) Any time you hit a dry spell recognize that this isn't your faith leaving; it's a natural up and down in the spiritual life. St. Ignatius advises to keep praying, don't change your routine, keep availing yourself of the sacraments, and don't give up!

I’m so excited to see that you guys got together for a reunion video! I went on the real deal sisterhood discernment retreat at the daughters of providence in the summer of 2015. I got to meet Kristi and hear a lot of the behind the scene stories from the show. She lead the retreat and did a wonderful job. I’m so grateful that I got to experience it with such wonderful women and the nuns were amazing too! I can confirm as well that Sister Beth Ann is totally the same in person! They were all so sweet and a lot of fun. We got to experience similar things to the girls on the show. It was really cool to gain a different perspective from the other girls as well because many of them were actually converts and had so much more of a passion for the lord than What I’m used to seeing among my peers who are cradle Catholics. I’m happy to have found this video. I think it came at a good time. A lot has happened to me since. I got married to a Dutch man 3 1/2 years ago and together we have a beautiful daughter. Although I enjoyed my time at the retreat I knew when I left that marriage was what I’d want to one day pursue. Little did I know that I’d be married so soon. Since having my daughter I’ve distanced myself from the church. I’m currently trying to see how I can bring it back into my life and rekindle my relationship with God. I enjoyed listening to all of your stories and where life has taken you since the show. Thank you for getting together to make this video! Hopefully you can do another sometime soon!

starting at 38:35, when Enesi was saying that being "Judging is a Serious Disease" and everything she says after that, it was so absolutely profound, i wished that more people have that mentality and level of maturity. Thank you for this update/interview! I saw today on Lifetime's channel they uploaded the episodes of the show. I remember watching when it originally aired. I immediately jumped on Google to see what everyone was up to. It was funny for Francesca to acknowledge that if you were to Google her name and see what she is up to now you might be surprised and think she just went on the show for exposure. I was so happy to hear her whole story, her whole journey and where she is now 🙂 along with the other women.

Eseni was in a same sex relationship when they filmed this. I think that’s why they didn’t bring it up as to not highlight that.

Paula Birch Billingsley that makes me sad. Everyone is entitled to their views and beliefs. But I feel like her family seemed more fundamental Baptist than Catholic. But I’m not catholic, so I can only judge based on the Catholics I know. It seems like she is a minority in the Catholic Church, does that make sense?

I almost became a Cloistered Nun at the age of 18, myself! I never went thru any official discerment period or retreat, tho.
I instead, later, got married. Had 2 beautiful children and now am a proud grandmother of 3 precious grandchildren! 🥰
I do still reflect and cherish my potential Calling with fondness, tho.
But anyways, I am still a little unclear how many of you joined, and for how long. So Essie joined as well, then?

Good update and actually deep. It's such a challenge to discern God's will for you. But it seems like all of them are at peace and the show actually helped him in making future decisions.
