Thank you for this. It seems like nearly every “Tamiya complete build” video skips all of this, and I for one needed this exact explanation. Great job, thank you!
Verry good video. I always forget how to setup and this video explains the important settings. Now when comes the advanced tutorial: - change the voltage cutoff to a higher, lipo correct value - modify the circutes to run the servo at full voltage (HV servo) - use two speedcontrolers on channel 2 and 3 (for whatever reason)
Thank you. Have a Tamiya Frog and hooking up a new Traxxas TQ receiver and transmitter. Forward and reverse were opposite of the trigger. Last step worked and I had at first I had ESC in channel 1 and no motor operation. So I switched to ch 2. You solved both 👍🏼👍🏼 “cheers” from the US.

@@Stantoneo14 Sounds like it might be set backwords, if you unplug the motor wires and swap them does it then go forward and brake? If so then do the reverse activation which is on the video too.
Hello Thank you so much for this demonstration. I noticed my RC car does not have drag brakes. It goes backward if i release the throttle while going uphill (neutral maybe?). Any idea how I can engage drag brake with this ESC if at all possible?
@@spudskirc4458 Oh no...such a shame. It has advanced feature EV features like sensored brushless motors, yet it can't stay steady on a hill. I have to invest in couple of Quickrun 1060s. Thank you for this video though.
